Chapter 195 Treatment

Chapter 195 Treatment

"what!"

"Rupert, how are you?"

Having just escaped, Hagrid collapsed to the ground, letting out a painful cry. Maxim immediately caught Hagrid in his arms, letting him rest his head on his lap, and asked anxiously.

Suddenly, her pupils contracted, and a hint of panic crept into her words.

Hagrid had a deep wound on his left leg, from which blood was constantly flowing, and the pale white bone inside could be faintly seen.

"This...this...it's completely healed!"

Maxim kept casting healing spells, but to no avail; the blood continued to flow.

"Rip!" Grabbing his clothes and pulling hard, he tore a perfectly good garment into strips in just a few strokes.

Round and round, Maxim tied the freshly torn strips of cloth to Hagrid's wound until he ran out of cloth before stopping.

"How is it, Rupert?"

"We have to get back quickly, Orim," Hagrid said weakly, his face pale. "This is magic invented by Severus. It requires a special anti-curse to heal the wound. We need to find him or Dumbledore quickly, or the bleeding won't stop."

After speaking, he looked at the wound that had just been bandaged. Even though Maxim had tied it very tightly, a little bit of blood was still seeping out.

"Okay, let's go back!" Maxim struggled to help Hagrid up, asking worriedly, "Can you still withstand Apparition?"

"There shouldn't be any problem." Hagrid forced a smile, trying to appear relaxed, but only earned a glare from Maxim.

"Don't be so stubborn." Maxim patted Hagrid, then flicked his wand with his right hand, and the two disappeared again.

When it reappeared, it was in the living room of a house. It was beautiful, with magnificent decorative furniture everywhere you looked, and a complete polar bear skin was at your feet, now with a few bright red spots on it.

"Lean on him for now, I'll get Dumbledore right away!" As if he hadn't noticed the bloodstains on his favorite bearskin, Maxim helped Hagrid sit down slowly, placing several cushions behind his back so he could lean on the sofa with his head resting comfortably. He then got up and went straight to the study, rummaged through the drawers for a while, and finally returned to the living room with a mirror in his hand.

"Dumbledore! Albus Dumbledore!" Maxim tapped the mirror twice with his wand, calling out Dumbledore's name. After a moment, ripples suddenly appeared on the mirror, and the next second, an old man with a white beard appeared in the mirror.

"What is it, Madam Maxim?" Dumbledore's voice came from the mirror, very low and soft.

"You need to come here immediately, Hagrid is seriously injured!" Maxim's voice was full of anxiety. As he spoke, he showed the mirror to the wound on Hagrid's leg. In just a short while, the blood had completely stained the cloth strips red, and a large area on the ground was also red.

"Please move aside a little, I'm coming right now."

Upon hearing this, Maxim immediately waved his wand, moving the surrounding coffee table, desk, and chairs aside. The next second, a dazzling red light suddenly flashed, and Dumbledore appeared before him, with a beautiful little bird perched on his shoulder.

"Let me see, Madam Maxim." With that, Dumbledore knelt down next to Hagrid and poked Hagrid's wound with a wand that looked like a human finger bone.

"Albus!" Maxim's angry voice rang out, and Dumbledore immediately apologized repeatedly, "I'm so sorry, Madam Maxim, I need to know what kind of magic hurt Rubeus."

"Luckily, I know this magic."

He gently ran his wand across the strip of cloth, exposing the wound again. He softly chanted, and the tip of the wand emitted a gentle white light. The wound healed instantly, at a speed visible to the naked eye, without leaving a trace.

"Thank you, Dumbledore." Hagrid's words were weak, but his eyes shone with gratitude and excitement.

"Take a good rest, Rubeus." Dumbledore took a vial of potion from his pocket and handed it to him. "You've lost a lot of blood. Drink this potion; it will make you feel much better."

Hagrid took the potion, tilted his head back, and drank it all in one gulp. Suddenly, his face regained a rosy hue, and his energy was restored considerably.

Seeing that Hagrid's injuries were healed, Maxim then had the furniture that had been moved put back in its place. He carefully helped Hagrid onto the sofa, then waved his wand. Suddenly, the spout of the teapot on the coffee table popped open, the lid opened, and a packet of tea leaves hopped and skipped inside. The three cups tumbled off their saucers, the teapot jumped up and filled them, and then settled back into its original position.

Dumbledore picked up a cup of tea, took a sip, and said, "Very good black tea."

"Thanks."

"So, can you tell me now what happened, Rubeus?" Dumbledore asked Hagrid. "Why were you injured by the Shadowless Blade? I remember that this spell, created by Severus, is known to only a few people."

"It was Ike, Dumbledore." Hagrid was in much better condition and spoke much louder. "We encountered Death Eaters at the Giants' Village. It was McNeil and Ike. Ike cast this spell."

"Ike? That's not surprising. He was arguably Severus's favorite student." Dumbledore put down his teacup, adjusted his glasses, and said, "Looks like we've lost the giants as an ally."

"I'm sorry, Dumbledore, we failed to complete the task you assigned us..." Hagrid's face showed a look of dejection, and then he recounted what had happened in the giant tribe, with Maxim adding a few words from time to time.

Dumbledore listened attentively, sometimes nodding, sometimes showing a hint of regret. After Hagrid finished speaking, he sighed, "It must have been tough for you. No one expected something like this to happen, but it's good that everyone is alright."

"But the mysterious man has obtained the giant, which is terrible!"

"Yes, it's bad, but it's not the end of the world, Rubeus," Dumbledore said. "We still have a lot to do, and not everyone will choose to side with the dark side."

With that, Dumbledore stood up, checked the time, and said, "I should go back now. You know, there's a lot going on at the school."

"Alright, let's go back together then." Hagrid said, and was about to stand up, but Dumbledore and Maxim pressed him back down.

"I never said you had to come back with me, Rupert." Dumbledore's face showed a hint of surprise and a strange smile. "No need to rush back to Hogwarts, it's fine to wait a few more days."

After saying that, he even winked.

Hagrid was still a little confused, not knowing what the wink meant. He scratched his head before saying, "Okay, there's something I'd like to ask for your permission for."

"What?"

"Well... I met my half-brother in France..." Hagrid said somewhat embarrassedly, "He's all alone, and I was wondering if I could bring him back to Hogwarts with me..."

"Your brother?" Dumbledore paused for a moment, then nodded and smiled. "Of course, you can take him back to school with you."

"Hogwarts is home, and home will never reject its family..."

"Isn't that right?"
