Chapter 963 The Floating World

Saul and Jeffrey stood together, looking like ordinary apprentices participating in the selection process, and soon it would be their turn.

Thor casually registered his information and then entered the observatory with Jeffrey.

A thin, white, semi-transparent thread split in two in the air, then into four, and finally became a dense fringe, sweeping across the space between two floors.

Under this thorough search, Thor finally sensed something unusual at the entrance to the world side.

Thor immediately retracted the Threads of Fate, flew into the air, and reached out to touch what appeared to be nothing.

The next second he felt a strange suction force, as if he had fallen into a straw. His body and spirit were stretched and narrowed together, and then he was sprayed out from the other end of the straw.

Thor composed himself and looked up to see a red worm the size of a calf floating motionless in the air, like a balloon.

Looking down again, Thor found himself high in the air, with hundreds of red worms floating beneath his feet.

Thor tried to find the ground through the gaps between the floating fat worms, but he found that there seemed to be no ground at all.

Everything was floating in mid-air.

The most numerous creatures floating around Thor were motionless red worms. Thor couldn't touch them, nor did he know whether they were alive or dead.

Sensing someone approaching, Thor darted behind a red worm, concealing himself and blending into the background of the world.

Before entering, Thor left a temporary coordinate outside the observatory, so he could teleport there if anything happened.

I sensed it now, and the presence of the coordinates is still clear, indicating that Thor can move between the world side and the main world.

With his escape route prepared, Saul could then search for Byron with peace of mind.

At this moment, the source of the aura that Thor had just sensed approached; it was just a first-tier wizard.

The opponent wasn't very strong, but Thor noticed a red worm crawling on the wizard's shoulder.

Thor had never seen this wizard before, but he could tell that the other party was a second-tier wizard.

More people flew over from a distance, and Thor carefully climbed to the other side of the ball to avoid their line of sight.

There was no sign of Byron among these balloons, and Thor continued flying in the direction the group had come from.

After passing through another layer of floating red worms, Thor saw a new balloon.

There was only one balloon, but it was enormous. If the balloon in front was like a small house, then this one was like a 60-story skyscraper.

Around this magnificent balloon floated numerous red worms, all of them motionless.

The smaller ones are no bigger than the palm of your hand, while the larger ones are 10 meters long.

However, none of them can match the size of the one hanging outside the observatory.

Just then, Thor finally rediscovered the familiar mental energy.

Byron is inside that giant balloon in front of us!

But what puzzled Saul was that Byron seemed to be moving quickly toward him!
