Chapter 961 Should You Consider Me?

In the iridescent world, Thor was surprised to find that Froco was seriously injured and would not recover for several years.

Thor was on the platform of the iridescent world, looking up at the ever-changing colors of the deep space above him and the twisting threads entwined around his head.

"Actually, so many unexpected events might not be a bad thing. After all, we weren't very confident in defeating the Black Tide to begin with. With the addition of the Red Worm and a fifth-tier being with unclear motives, we might actually have more hope of defeating the Black Tide."

Thor was already considering whether he could use the Red Worms to fight against the Eye of the Abyss. If the Red Worms could consume the pollution caused by the sixth-tier corpses in the Eye of the Abyss, or if they could simply devour the corpses in the Abyss, could the world-ending crisis of the Black Tide pollution be completely resolved?

The two had arrived at the ravine near the observatory.

As night deepened, Agu lit a campfire.

The two did not deliberately conceal their whereabouts; when asked by the Stargate Council, they simply said they were researching red worms.

If Chief Norton cannot persuade Alec to stay, then Thor will have no choice but to trade a chance for cooperation by protecting the wizard's spiritual body.

Kismet approached and sat down next to Thor without any ceremony. He picked up a branch and poked at the fire, stirring up sparks.

He's as mischievous as a little kid.

"Does the red worm incident have anything to do with you?" Thor asked.

Kismet's eyes widened. "The Red Worm is an alien creature brought back by the Stargate Council. How can you think it's related to me? Am I the one behind all the bad things in this world?"

Seeing Kismet's aggrieved look, Thor snorted coldly, "I'm asking if you were involved in the Red Worm incident, not if you introduced the Red Worm. Don't deliberately confuse the issue."

"Haha," Kismet chuckled awkwardly, "You're really smart."

"So you did use the red worm for something after all, right? Let me think, do you also want to use the red worm to leave the wizarding world?"

Kismet's smile faded. "Brother Master, you've misunderstood me. If I truly wanted to leave the wizarding world, why would I rely on the power of other beings? External things always fail eventually. Others always leave eventually."

"That's quite inspiring. So, what brings you here?"

Kismet chuckled and leaned closer, lowering his voice, "Brother Master, haven't you now modified the Death Thread into your own method of advancement? I see your method requires selecting targets, and you've already selected four, haven't you?"

Thor glanced at Kismet, not surprised that he could guess how he had been promoted. After all, the Symphony of Fate had been modified using the Death Threads Kismet had given him.

It wasn't difficult for Kismet to see that he had already accomplished four objectives. But he might not be able to guess all the target individuals.

Moreover, among the targets Thor set, apart from Char and Froco who were outnumbered, the other two were protected by the entire wizarding community of the far north and the Tribunal, respectively, so there was no need to worry about anyone targeting them.

As long as one target survives, Thor's fourth-order foundation will remain very stable.

So, instead of Kismet's expected surprise, Thor simply nodded calmly. "Yes. And then?"
