Chapter 64 Senior, I have a gift for you.
Caught off guard, West Germany was struck by the opponent's fist and staggered backward, a trickle of blood immediately flowing from his nose.
He looked up and was shocked to see a figure that should never have been there.
"Byron? Why haven't you left the tower yet?"
"Byron?" Even Kongsa was surprised. She stepped down from the teleportation platform and subtly kicked Thor on the ground.
"Hmm." In response to their questions, Byron simply nodded.
Well, asking him won't help.
Sid immediately realized that he was caught in a pincer movement and there was no way to escape.
This person is ruthless to others, and also ruthless to himself.
He actually raised his hand and slammed the sculpture in his hand against the wall.
Byron and Kongsa stared at the sculpture, their expressions changing.
The fragile elf sculpture immediately cracked in two upon impact.
The head fell off and rolled to the side.
The inside of the sculpture is only one finger thick, and it is hollow in the middle with nothing inside.
But something else seems to be there.
As the sculpture shattered, the morgue fell completely silent.
"You...you're really crazy!" Even Kongsha lost her alluring charm and glared fiercely at Sid.
"Huh? Huh!!!" Byron finally realized what Sid was holding, and his brows furrowed deeply.
West Germany's hand, holding the remaining half of the sculpture, instantly withered and aged like that of an eighty or ninety-year-old man.
He was hunched over, his chest heaving, his eyes constantly shifting between Kongsa and Byron.
"When you betrayed me, I knew there was no going back today. In that case, let's all go down together!"
West Germans carried the sculpture toward Kongsa.
Kongsa's eyes darted around, and finally she deliberately looked away, revealing Thor behind her.
West Germany was like a bomb-laden suit, making the two powerful second-level apprentices hesitant to act.
When Byron tried to step forward, Sid would immediately raise his hand, forcing Byron to retreat again.
Sid forced the two to move around repeatedly, until finally he ended up next to Saul, while Kongsa and Byron stood at the door.
"Do you think you can escape?" After a long silence, Kongsha finally spoke. "The power of the elven sculpture has leaked out, so we can't use our spiritual bodies. But even if you don't move, you'll eventually fall into hallucinations while holding it. Then we can easily kill you."
"Sorry," Sid grinned menacingly, "my family has a knightly tradition. Without using witchcraft, you can't stop me! Don't come any closer!"
West Germany once again deterred the restless Byron.
He was in a terrible state, his face covered in blood, and he had an ice hole in his stomach.
But he was also very proud of himself for scaring away two powerful opponents at the same time, an experience he had never had before.
Sid stared intently at the two men, then slowly crouched down beside Saul.
The young servant beside him was now motionless, presumably dead.
He reached out to feel the servant's neck, but couldn't feel a heartbeat.
He is really dead!
"Grandfather," Sid cried out frantically in his heart, "Look, look, I am the hope of the family! The Death Wizard's Diary you've been searching for is about to be in my hands! Hahaha!"
Byron noticed that Sid's expression was strange, so he stepped forward again.
"Don't move!"
Although West Germany was excited, he remained wary of Byron and Kongsa, and when he saw Byron make any unusual moves, he immediately threatened him.
"Come any closer, and I'll let you experience the illusion. Do you really think Kongsha won't take advantage of you once you're inside?"
However, before Sid could finish speaking, he suddenly felt something hit his stomach hard, and the original wound began to ache intensely.
Sid had no choice but to lower his head, only to see that Saul, who had been motionless just moments before, had somehow gotten up and was forcefully stuffing something as thick as a fist and as long as a palm into his ruptured abdomen.
"Senior!" Thor grinned, his mouth and teeth black, his left hand shoving the object into Sid's wound. "Here's a present for you!"
Sid was in pain and furious, and punched Saul.
Thor tried to block with his left hand, but was still knocked away by Sid.
Thor was knocked away, but his expression was one of surprise. At the same time, he turned his head and shouted to Kongsa and Byron, "Get down!"
West Germany frantically tried to scoop the object out of his stomach, but it was stuck firmly in the ice shards…
"Bang!!!!"
There was no huge explosion as expected; even the sound of the explosion was rather muffled.
This startled Thor.
"Oh no, is Keli trying to scam me with some substandard product?"
His back slammed heavily to the ground, but he struggled to lift his head to look at West Germany across from him.
Thor breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the scene before him.
The grenade, no, the explosion of iron and fire, wasn't that violent; it was as if its power was contained and directed at the target opposing it.
Then it was seen that West Germany was blown in two, with his upper and lower body pierced through by pieces of iron from the inside.
"This iron and fire are amazing! No wonder it's a magical artifact!"
Not a single piece of iron was wasted; West Germany at that moment seemed to have fallen into a pile of iron cacti.
He opened his mouth, and blood mixed with iron filings fell to the ground with a crisp sound.
West Germany never imagined that he, who had threatened two second-level apprentices, would be ambushed by a servant.
"How come you... weren't cursed...?"
This is what West Germany found most incomprehensible.
But Saul simply walked away from West Germany in silence, without any intention of explaining.
Sid fell heavily to the ground, his eyes still fixed on Saul.
Suddenly, a thick, hardcover book appeared in front of West Germany, not far away, within easy reach.
Sid's eyes widened in surprise.
What Consa, what Byron, what Thor, what Wizard Tower, what grandfather...
He didn't care about any of that at that moment.
All he could see was that book, that hardcover book with a red cover!
"Mine!" he uttered silently, reaching out to snatch it.
But his hand only grasped at air.
His hand went through the hardcover book, back and forth several times, before finally falling to the ground.
Thor looked at Sid with some confusion. The latter seemed to be grasping at something in the air, and didn't even give his last words or a final protest.
He glanced nervously at his left shoulder.
The diary still floats there quietly.
No problem!
Thor stood up, spitting out foul-smelling black blood. "Pah! Senior Kongsha, Senior Byron, is Sid all dead?"
Byron stepped forward first, looked down and examined it carefully, then affirmed, "Hmm."
Kongsa didn't come over immediately. Instead, she carefully put away the elf sculpture that West Germany had smashed in two and sealed it in a small box.
She finally breathed a sigh of relief, and all the terrifying eyeballs returned to their places.
"It's easy to tell if he's dead or not." Kongsha walked over and casually picked up the saw from the control panel, throwing it next to Thor. "Cut off his head; he should be dead by now."
Thor was very skilled at this, and Byron was equally adept.
A screeching sound rang out, and blood splattered everywhere.
Saul placed Sid's head in a box, wrapped it in pale yellow leather, and handed it to Kongsa.
Kongsha took the box and breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good. You killed West Germany. Now you have even stronger grounds for a legitimate counterattack."
An eyeball emerged from the white fluid and turned toward Thor; Kongsa suddenly smiled.
"However, I'm genuinely curious now, why exactly did West Germany want to kill you?"
Thor had already come up with a reason.
"A few months ago, when I was still a servant, I saw West Germany stealing in the library. He attacked me then, and I was badly injured, but luckily I survived. Since then, he seems to be afraid that I will reveal this, and he has tried to kill me several times."
Saul once tried to use West Germany to discover that Kongsa had stolen brains, thus binding Kongsa to his own cause, but Kongsa quickly realized that Saul was hiding something and threatened him.
Now that West Germany is determined to kill Saul despite the danger of falling into a hallucination, it naturally arouses Kongsa's suspicion once again.
Saul simply told the whole truth.
Aside from the Death Wizard's Diary, he only spoke of facts that an observer could see.
The Death Wizard's Diary is invisible to everyone except Thor.
