Death Wizard Diary.
Chapter 45 declares failure.
Chapter 45 declares failure.
"Hmph, you're quite cautious." The other person snorted coldly, rolling their eyes impatiently. "Because you're cheap. The neighbors next door might need me to use two corpses to appease them."
Okay, so it turns out he's actually quite cheap.
Thor glanced at the other two corpses of first-level apprentices and seemed to have already begun selecting them.
"Hurry up, don't dawdle," the cold-faced senior urged.
Thor could only clutch the soft leather mask and walk toward the corner.
Just as he was about to step into the magic circle, a whooshing sound froze him in place.
The hardcover book grew larger and flew to him, unfolding before him.
The playful words resurfaced.
[May 11th, 314th year of the lunar calendar]
Today is a good day. Knowing you're short of materials, someone has brought you a corpse.
You obediently put on the "Absolute Territory of a Pure Maiden," sit quietly in the magic circle, and carefully observe the three corpses.
Huh, why can't I see the evil spirit? I turn my head again, am I seeing things? How come the evil spirit is on Peggy?
Oh ho ho ho ho... You must be seeing things. That germaphobic evil spirit is clearly on you!
Tonight, Peggy will write in the mission log: Three Level 1 Apprentice corpses were disposed of today.
Thor knew that good things falling from the sky wouldn't easily happen to him!
Anyone who claims to offer high returns with no cost is a big liar!
Don't be greedy for small gains and get scammed!
Thor decisively decided to give up and refuse the assistance.
The words in the diary resurfaced, and when Saul saw them, his eyes widened in horror.
Good grief, this time the senior student turned her back on him and killed him outright.
"What are you dawdling for? Why aren't you going in?" Peggy's tone behind her was clearly impatient.
Thor slowly turned around, a smile on his face that looked more like a grimace.
"Senior, I think the corpse of one Level 1 Apprentice isn't enough."
Peggy's eyes widened in disbelief. "You want two?" she asked.
"No, no, I'm not that greedy. It's just that I'm short of a few materials for my experiments."
The names of the materials came out of Saul's mouth one by one, but his brain was racing to think of a way to deal with them.
Destroy the magic circle?
No, the hardcover book mocked Thor's intelligence and told him he would die at the hands of the evil spirits and Peggy.
Saul considered two more methods, but both were rejected by the hardcover book with a single click.
"What kind of nonsense is this? Where am I supposed to get these materials now?"
Thor smiled wryly and continued to stall for time.
"Senior, you're in a hurry, aren't you? I bet your task log will show today: 'Disposed of one Level 1 Apprentice's corpse.' Right?"
Peggy squinted.
"You're clever, that's right, I'll hide the body of this second-level apprentice. If you report me afterward, I have plenty of ways to kill you."
As she spoke, she took a bulging silver bag from her bosom and threw it into Thor's arms.
Saul caught it, and the bag made a rustling sound.
This is a huge bag of magic crystals!
"These things are enough to buy at least ten servings of the materials you just mentioned. Hurry up and go in! If you dawdle any longer, I'll break your legs and throw you in."
"Thank you, senior."
Thor tucked the money pouch into his pocket, held the mask, and walked into the magic circle, obediently sitting down.
"Put on your mask!"
Peggy urged again, her voice now brimming with barely concealed murderous intent.
"Okay, let me check the front and back."
Thor flipped the mask over in his hand, and at the same time, he used his fingernail to pry open the seal of the small bottle he was holding in his palm.
This was the solution he came up with at the last minute, and the hardcover book did not mock his death again.
"The Absolute Territory of a Pure Maiden" and "The Evil Spirit of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" reminded him of the bottle of "The Ultimate Filth of the Elemental Fairy" that he kept in his arms.
When the evil spirits and Peggy are far more powerful than him, Thor can only gamble on the escape route chosen for him by the hardcover book.
As he flipped the mask, Thor also poured most of the potion onto it.
As he put on the mask, a faint fishy smell filled his nostrils.
The mask seemed to have an adhesive quality, immediately sticking firmly to Thor's face.
"I've already contaminated this absolute territory (absolute territory), so if you're really a germaphobe, don't come looking for me!"
the other side.
Peggy was about to explode when that damned new apprentice finally settled into the magic circle she had drawn.
Of course, the magic circle Thor was sitting on was actually useless; what really worked was the mask on his face.
Peggy, with a stern face and enduring the throbbing pain caused by the friction between her thighs, walked to the center of the candles.
She took off her large outer robe, revealing a nightgown-like dress underneath, and her fair calves.
She kicked off her ankle boots, revealing a pair of equally fair little feet.
Her skin was delicate, the same color as the mask on Thor's face.
"Keep an eye on those three corpses. If you see black smoke coming out of one of them, remember to tell me! That evil spirit moves very quickly, and I need to pinpoint its location as soon as possible."
"Yes."
"start."
Peggy raised her hands, each hand quickly making different gestures.
At the same time, she began to silently chant incantations.
Suddenly, all the candles on the ground burst into flames.
The runes on the ceiling, walls, and ground twitched like living worms.
Only the magic circle surrounding Thor remained silent and still.
Thor dutifully watched over the three corpses.
The changes in the room are becoming more and more significant.
The candle flame swelled a meter, twisting and contorting as if a living person were being burned, and faint screams reached Thor's ears.
The black lines on the ground kept separating and recombine, like a group of stick figures dancing around a campfire.
In a daze, Thor felt as if the stick figures had stood up from the ground, waving their flat bodies and cheering for the leap in the quality of life.
"Tell me quickly! Where is the evil spirit?"
A sharp female voice rang out, interrupting Thor's observation.
Thor shifted his gaze, staring intently at Peggy.
"It's on you, senior!" he said coldly.
Peggy paused, then turned around abruptly, her face covered in black stockings, looking like a demon.
"Look again!"
In Thor's eyes, the black threads were pulled from Peggy's skin and rapidly formed a twisted and hideous face.
The ghostly face, with its hollow eye sockets and gaping mouth, converged in the air and immediately rushed towards Thor's location.
Its mouth was wide open, and black, thread-like saliva dripped from the corners of its mouth onto the ground.
boom!
Thor's body jerked backward, as if something had rushed into his body, and a dizzying, cold sensation came from the mask.
But before he could react, the sensation was like his hand touching a red-hot iron pot, and he abruptly pulled back.
He forced back the throbbing and stinging in his eyes, tears welling in his eyes, and opened them to see the black evil spirit painfully crawling back into Peggy's body.
"Ah—!" Peggy screamed in terror, "How could this happen!?"
The black, evil face was imprinted on Peggy's face, and then Peggy's voice became hoarse and unpleasant.
"Ugh!!! So disgusting!! So disgusting!!!" Peggy's body convulsed, her mouth wide open, spitting out thick black liquid.
"How could there be such disgusting filth! You woman, you actually lied to me! That wasn't the purest virgin at all! It was a disgusting man!!!"
"Get out of here, you vile evil spirit!" Peggy was also desperately trying to break free from the evil spirit's restraints.
Two souls began to fight within Peggy's body.
In the corner, Thor ripped his mask off his face and gasped for breath.
It wasn't that he wanted to prove he was a pure virgin, but rather that the mask had become incredibly foul-smelling after being briefly possessed by an evil spirit, so much so that even someone like Thor, who was immune to the smell of the morgue, couldn't stand it.
Every second he wore it made him feel so nauseous he wanted to die!
In the chaos, the hardcover book emerged.
[October 11, 314th year of the lunar calendar, sunny]
What a wonderful reaction.
A fresh young girl's skin, a bit of elemental fairy filth, and a wisp of cursed spirit with obsessive-compulsive disorder were actually forged into a necromancer's intimidating mask!
vomit!
However, you'll need to figure out how to remove the odor first.
Did you see me on November 29, 2022?
