Death Wizard Diary.

Chapter 350 Long-Term Early Warning

Chapter 350 Long-Term Early Warning

Monroe had blood streaming down his face, but seemed oblivious. Saul didn't go in immediately; he just kept his hand up, his thumb and forefinger close together, as if he were pinching something.

Thor almost blurted out, "What do you want?" but he swallowed his words at the last second.

Because he saw that the pads of Monroe's two fingers were slightly concave, as if he were actually holding something.

Thor took a step forward and placed his foot on the door frame.

To this day, the diary offers no clue whatsoever.

"No major problems." Thor didn't feel relieved just because the diary hadn't given any hints.

In the years since he became a wizard apprentice, he was no longer the one who needed his diary to help him identify white mushrooms in any dangerous situation.

Based on his mental perception and intuition, Thor was basically certain that what Monroe had was not dangerous to him.

But it's quite strange.

"Should I really accept this? It feels like it's going to be a problem, whether it was left to me by Kongsha or not."

Although he believed he could handle what Monroe had, Saul was also considering whether or not to take it over.

After all, he has a lot of troubles, and he currently has a mission with a five-year time limit, or it may end at any time.

But as Thor hesitated, a voice suddenly rang in his ears, filled with impatience and madness.

"Aaaaaah! Thor! I want it! Thor! I want it, I want it!"

A flash of silver light appeared, and Penny suddenly landed on Thor's left shoulder and shouted into his left ear. Then she jumped to his right shoulder and poured the demonic sound into his right ear again.

"Brother Thor! I want that! Master! Give it to me, I want it!"

Thor felt like his face was covered in black lines.

"Quiet!" he mentally commanded.

Then the diary was opened according to Saul's wishes, as if he were about to throw Penny into it.

The haunting, demonic voice immediately disappeared, but the Nightmare Butterfly did not give up. It flew to Thor and kept circling him in an inverted figure eight.

Thor is now able to see his surroundings and ignore the presence of that silver light.

His next step was to walk straight in and stand in front of Monroe.

After Monroe finished speaking, he waited motionless for Saul.

Saul stood before Monroe, not immediately reaching out to take it, but instead asking in his mind, "Penny, what is Monroe holding?"

"It's cryptocrystalline. Like me, it's a substance that exists between matter and consciousness. Master, please give it to me? With it, I can regain a lot of my strength!"

"Cryptocrystalline?" Thor had heard this term before, but here it seemed to have become a substance. And a substance with properties as wondrous as the Nightmare Butterfly.

"Master, you can only store cryptocrystalline material using flesh and blood. Using your other existing sealing methods will easily lead to the loss of cryptocrystalline material."

"Is it because flesh and blood can come into contact with cryptocrystalline matter?" Thor wondered to himself.

"Not entirely, hiss hiss..." Penny actually made a slurping sound. "When you store it with flesh and blood, your consciousness will also tell you that there is something there, and then your nerves will transmit uncomfortable feelings, thus locating the existence of the cryptocrystalline substance in both body and mind."

"But if you put it in a box, and when you look at the empty box, and have the slightest thought that there might be nothing inside, you will never find cryptocrystalline again."

"Hiss—" Upon hearing Penny's words, Thor suddenly became very interested in cryptocrystalline matter. "Interesting."

Without further hesitation, he placed his hand under Monroe's fingers and then slowly moved it upwards.

Thor, no longer a novice in the wizarding world, reinforced his understanding by silently repeating it in his mind without Penny's prompting.

"There's a completely transparent substance there, and now my hand is about to touch it."

"There's a completely transparent substance there, and my finger is currently five millimeters away from it."

"I should be able to find it now."

Just as Thor was thinking this, his fingertips suddenly touched something.

It has no temperature, or rather, its temperature is the same as the surface temperature of his body.

But he could feel himself touching something, and his fingertips were slightly sinking in front of his eyes.

Then Thor's thumb was placed on top as well.

He pinched the cryptocrystalline material from both above and below, just like Monroe did!

After confirming that Sol had a firm grip, Monroe finally released his fingers.

"You'd better keep it somewhere that makes you feel uncomfortable just thinking about it." Monroe pointed back to her eye socket, "That way, when you forget it's there, your subconscious will still be sending out uncomfortable warning signals to help you remember it."

He seems much more normal now.

Indeed, fear stems from the unknown.

When you resonate with the wizard or madman you think you are, you will realize that the other person is a normal person, and that you were the confused and ignorant fool.

"This is what Kongsha gave me the last time she came back. She said that one day you would definitely come to find her, and then she would ask me to give this to you."

As Monroe spoke, he bent down and picked up the eyeball he had just lost from the ground.

The eyeball was clearly cloudy and deformed.

After picking it up from the ground, Monroe didn't care whether it was dusty or not, and put it directly into his mouth.

"Crunch... crunch..."

Some translucent liquid dribbled from the corner of his mouth.

"She also said... crunch crunch... if you want more, go find her on the cliff on the east side of Drift Valley."

Thor tightened his grip on the cryptocrystalline material slightly, feeling a slight stinging sensation on his fingertips.

"East of Chui Te Valley?"

"It's the Forest of Four Seasons!" Penny whispered immediately after the silencing was lifted. "But that's what we call it; the wizarding world usually calls it 'Elf Valley'!"

Elf!

Thor's heart skipped a beat.

Kongsha actually wanted to trick him into going to the Elf Valley?

"Thank you, but I don't want it," Thor really wanted to say.

But just as he was about to give up, the diary suddenly opened, and black writing began to appear on the white paper.

November 13, 316 (lunar calendar)

Madness has summoned you.

You choose to ignore it;

Chaos invites you to dance.

You shook your head and politely declined;

Pain is served with delicious food.

You put down your napkin;

Resentment sheds its clothes,

Close your eyes.

So when life leaves you,

Please don't complain about your inability to do anything.

"This is... a death warning!"

Moreover, based on linguistic analysis, this is definitely not a warning of an imminent death.

It's like the first level of a mission; making the wrong choice can change the final outcome.

This was not the first time the diary had issued a long-term warning, but it was the first time it had issued a long-term warning of death.

Thor immediately took it seriously, and even the tactile sensation of the cryptocrystalline substance in his hand became clearer.

"I understand," Saul said, staring intently at Monroe, trying to see what else he knew. "I'll go when I need to."

Monroe laughed. "No rush. It's about to snow. We can wait until the snow melts before setting off."

At this moment, Penny also said, "The Forest of Four Seasons has no winter. So you can't go in during the snow season."

Despite the diary's warning of impending death, Saul remained relatively calm.

He even chuckled, "Perfect, I'm afraid of the cold."
