Chapter 255 Half-Body Female Ghost

Chapter 255 Half-Body Female Ghost

Thor ignored the shock of the two people behind him.

He raised his arm and plunged the tip of the syringe directly into the back of Herman's dazed neck.

A flurry of starlight and snowflakes surged toward the tip of the needle, infusing Herman's illusory body.

In the blink of an eye, Herman's soul solidified at a visible speed, while the starlight in Thor's arm gradually dimmed.

This energy injection was very intuitive, and Coleman's condition quickly surpassed Morton's, with his body's transparency almost matching that of Agu.

His overall mental state is also recovering, and his consciousness is noticeably clearer.

Herman shook his head and finally saw the person in front of him clearly.

The next second, he knelt down with a "plop".

Although he was not fully conscious, he vaguely felt that the person in front of him could control his life and death at will.

He was completely powerless to resist.

"Master!" Following the vague impressions from the chaotic era, Herman cried out as if trying to save himself.

Ever since Herman called him "master," Saul suddenly felt a new connection between himself and Herman.

Previously, Thor controlled Herman and communicated with Herman through his diary, but from now on, he can directly sense Herman's presence.

Moreover, Thor's mark was left in Herman's consciousness.

If Herman were to anger him one day, Thor could eliminate him instantly with a single thought.

This absolute control over the lives of others suddenly made Saul understand the sentence on the first page of his diary: "To control death is to control destiny."

Saul withdrew the needle from Herman's nape, but the connection between them remained unbroken.

This is no longer a physical or mental connection, but rather more like a cause-and-effect relationship.

"Get up." Thor shook his hands, feeling that he hadn't used much energy.

A simple consciousness like Herman's doesn't need much power.

Hermann bowed deeply again before getting up from the ground.

Thor turned to Morton and Agu. "Who wants to go first?"

Morton and Agu were unaware of what Herman had just experienced, but they could see that Herman had completely surrendered.

While saving Herman, Thor's new right hand seemed to have something injected into it as well.

But now, even if they are wary of what's in Thor's arm, Agu and Morton can't refuse.

To refuse is tantamount to suicide.

But neither of them wanted to die.

During the brief silence, Agu's mind was racing with many thoughts.

"If I accept Thor's energy, I'm afraid I'll never be free again." Despite this, he stepped forward before Morton could. "But if I really acknowledge him as my master, it might not be a bad thing."

Putting aside the strange book in Thor's hand, Thor's ability to arbitrarily change his form even in the realm of consciousness was enough to completely shock him.

It's important to understand that the most common cause of distortion in the wizarding world is mental instability. Therefore, while modern wizards constantly tinker with their physical bodies, every single one of them strives to maintain mental stability.

"Who was the last one to try something fancy with spirit entities?" Agu stared intently at Thor. "Oh, wasn't it those elves who ended up destroying themselves?"

Agu took another step forward, and just as he was about to speak, five "plop plop plop plop plop" sounds suddenly came from beside him.

He turned his head and saw Morton kneeling down on the spot.

Because of the resolute way he knelt, and the fact that his five legs were not very coordinated, he made a series of kneeling sounds.

"Master, please bless me."

The term "blessing" sounds much more sophisticated than "replenishing energy."

"This guy speaks in such a flowery way, and he's shameless enough!" Agu's lips twitched. "That idiot just knelt down and called me master, and you too?"

He was a step too late, and his attitude wasn't as sincere as the other party's—Agu never knelt down and called him master—so he was the last spirit consciousness to have its energy replenished by Thor.

But Thor didn't care.

He discovered that although Morton also called him "master," it wasn't as heartfelt as Herman's.

But it doesn't matter, because Saul still managed to establish contact with Morton.

The instant the connection was established, he sensed some chaotic dark spots within Morton's consciousness.

It's like mold growing on bread.

"Perhaps that's the part of Morton that's been contaminated." Thor didn't act rashly. "It's best not to do anything rash before we figure out whether removing the black spots will harm Morton. It would be terrible if we accidentally removed them all."

Saul decided to observe for a while before making a decision.

As for not having established contact with Agu, Thor wasn't in a hurry.

This will allow Agu and the other two to form an experimental control group, so that in the future, the existence time and influence of different spiritual consciousnesses can be observed on the consciousness platform.

Thor looked at the diary in his hand and realized that this special power was still given to him by the diary.

Unfortunately, although he controlled the consciousness of Herman and Morton, he did not truly control the diary.

"My connection with my diary has clearly strengthened. However, if I want the diary to become my GPS, I'll probably need to go through a few more conscious platforms."

Thor had already begun to sense his emotions starting to fluctuate.

This is a sign that his consciousness is becoming unstable.

"I don't have much time left here." Thor quickly looked at the last black page.

Or you could call it two-thirds of a sheet.

These two-thirds of the pages were found by Saul at Ralph Manor.

Perhaps because it was incomplete from the beginning, the consciousness of the incomplete black pages has never spoken.

"Can this one be torn off too?" Thor reached out and tried to tear off the two-thirds of the page.

Without any hindrance, Thor easily tore off the half-page and threw it on the ground.

As soon as the black pages fell to the ground, they began to undergo drastic changes.

The process of Morton and his companions transforming from pages into human form was like ice melting – fast, but very gentle.

But this black page was completely different; it exploded like a bomb the moment it hit the ground, with tremendous force.

After a few breaths, it took the shape of a woman—no, half of her! Because this woman had no lower body.

Her body was cut in half at the waist, and some organs, which appeared to be internal organs, were hanging out of the cut.

The woman had two slender, thin arms and long, sharp fingers. Her arms and fingers were bent like spider legs, supporting her "petite" body.

The woman's long, reddish-brown hair clung to her face as if soaked in blood plasma, with only the whites of her eyes visible through the gaps.

"Master, be careful. This is a soul consciousness that has been completely corrupted and mutated," Morton hurriedly warned Thor.

Thor nodded. "Understood."

Sure enough, as soon as the half-woman form was completed, her hands trembled, and she jumped up from the ground, heading straight for him, actually intending to attack him, her master!

Thor immediately raised his hand and swiftly slapped the woman who was rushing towards him to the ground on the other side.

As soon as the woman landed, she bounced up like a ball and launched another attack on Thor, baring her teeth and claws.

"Is a corrupted consciousness completely untamable? What use is it to me then?" Thor frowned, feeling a slight displeasure.

At the same time, a cold and violent chill gradually emerged, enveloping his consciousness like a layer of frost.

Within the consciousness space, the entire circular stone platform began to tremble, cracks appeared in the ground, and the starlight around it began to flicker incessantly.

The other three consciousnesses also noticed Thor's change. Especially after the starlight began to twinkle, they too felt a terrifying sense of impending destruction!

That half-woman was still able to attack Thor.

As he watched the woman he had kicked away quickly get back up, Thor's arm blurred for a moment, and when it reappeared, it had turned into an octopus tentacle.

As the woman rushed into the air, he lashed out his tentacles like whips, the nimble tentacles wrapping around her body and slamming her hard to the ground.

Thank you so much for the generous donations!
