Chapter 106 (Mountain Town Storyline) I am a member of the Wizard Tower

The courtyard eventually quieted down.

Even Jayce went back to bandage his wounds.

The people in the other rooms didn't come out at all.

Ada silently got up from the ground and limped back to her room.

He glanced at Saul, who was still sitting at the table, opened his mouth as if to curse, but in the end he just said coldly, "You can leave now."

Saul said nothing, nodded, and got off the table.

After Saul stepped out of the cabin, the door behind him slammed shut.

Thor adjusted his gear and walked briskly outside.

Suddenly, a person appeared at the door.

It turned out to be the old madman who had disappeared for a day.

The old madman clung tightly to the broken doorframe of the courtyard, mustered all his courage, and said to Saul, "You...you'll go save Penny, won't you?"

Ada was nestled on the wooden bed, clutching tightly the bowl that Penny usually used for eating.

He raised his head blankly and said to Jayce, "Jayce, thank you. I misunderstood you the other day."

"Why bring this up at a time like this?" Jayce patted the large bed. "Based on my observations over the years, Penny will likely be kept in solitary confinement before the ceremony begins. Do you dare to take advantage of this opportunity to steal her away?"

Penny felt herself being taken to a high place and then thrown to the ground.

Perhaps because she was young and blind, the person who brought her did not restrict her movements.

Penny touched the ground with her hand twice and felt something slightly sticky.

The second set of footsteps moved away.

Now only the two of them are left in the house.

Penny suddenly shivered.

Then, the sound of clothes being taken off could be heard in the room.

The displeased wizard approached Penny again.

Penny looked back blankly, but her eyes remained closed.

"You don't seem very scared?"

Penny shook her head.

"This is not a good idea. I still hope to get a more terrifying soul."

The unpleasant footsteps faded into the distance. Penny jumped up and tried to grab the person, but she caught nothing.

But just then, another voice rang out.

Before that sound rang out, Penny hadn't heard a single footstep.

But she recognized the voice; it belonged to her brother, Thor!

"Are you trying to increase your magic power by gathering the power of vengeful spirits to stimulate your physical body? As someone who's been there, I regret to inform you that this method isn't very effective."

Thor deactivated his invisibility and emerged from the corner of the room.

"Who are you?" Shelly, a first-level wizard apprentice, asked in surprise a moment ago, and then threw a shocking electric shock.

However, the electric shock that struck Thor caused him to vanish completely.
