Chapter 1009 Chaotic Domain Anomaly!

Chapter 1009 Chaotic Domain Anomaly!

Before leaving, Thor tried to enter the abyss one last time, but the abyss seemed to recognize Thor, and as soon as he entered, numerous rifts appeared, waiting for Thor.

Thor knew that these anchor point monsters would no longer be easy for him to capture, and if he entered again, the roles of hunter and prey would likely be reversed once more.

Thor left the deathly abyss and said to Kismet, "Let's go back."

Kismet pursed his lips and followed behind him.

Returning from the Chaotic Realm, Kismet was so angry that he didn't say a word the whole way. When he arrived at the Spirit Cleansing Wizard Tower, he ran to the top of the tower and lay there sprawled out.

Butler Hope came out to welcome Thor back.

"Lord Tower Master, welcome back. During your absence, Lady Keli seemed to have something to discuss with you; she returned every other day."

Saul calculated the time. "I've been gone for three months. Did Claire say why she's looking for me?"

"No, not at all. Judging from Clare Wizard's expression, it doesn't seem to be anything urgent."

Saul nodded, indicating he understood. "When was the last time she left?"

He needed to calculate when Keli would emerge from the Chaotic Realm next.

That means in about ten hours, Keli will be back again.

"I'll be in the lab. If I see Keli come back, tell her to come directly to me."

"As you command, Lord Tower Master."

The butler bowed and left, and Thor teleported into his laboratory and then arrived at the Rainbow Channel.

Under a sky full of colorful nebulae, Thor retrieved the anchor monster from the space and contacted Floco, who was still near the abyss.

"Did Kismet do anything unusual after we came out?"

Floco: [No anomalies detected.]

"Did anyone else go there afterward?"

Floco: [No.]

Thor breathed a sigh of relief.

He muttered to himself, "I finally decided to trust him this once, I hope the final result won't be disappointment."

He picked up the anchor monster beside him; the anchor that bared its fangs and claws in the abyss was as quiet as a newborn hedgehog in the iridescent world.

Thor continued to try stimulating the anchor point on the platform, hoping to see if the vague consciousness from before could still be received there.

But the anchor point no longer reacted. It simply cowered instinctively under the oppressive aura emanating from the Death Demon, looking utterly terrified.

Thor couldn't help but look up at the silken threads in the sky that twisted and stretched at times, and thought that if the Deathbringer himself were to come, perhaps the crisis in the wizarding world could be easily resolved.

But it's more likely that after the Black Tide pollution is resolved, all other people and beings in the Wizarding World will become part of the Deathbringer, just like Pell.

Whether it's part of food or part of a limb, that probably depends on luck.

Thor retracted the anchor point, and his consciousness returned to the Wizard Tower.

Then he began to wait for Claire to return.

Since it's not something urgent, it's likely that Keli has made some breakthrough in her research on the Bone Army.

Once the skeleton army is fully formed and under stable control, Thor will begin trying to bring this elite force out of the Chaotic Realm and adapt it to the environment of the Wizarding World.

However, Saul waited from dawn to dusk, and then from dusk to dawn.

But they never saw Claire again.

"Maybe something happened that caused this delay?" Thor thought to himself, but his intuition told him he was a little uneasy.

He stood up, took out his diary, and tried to deduce Ke Li's situation.

The diary did not issue a death warning.

But Thor was still not entirely at ease.

The diary hadn't issued a warning in a long time. This made Thor feel like something was missing from his life of reckless behavior.

He has already had precognitive dreams, in which the world is clearly about to be destroyed.

However, the diary didn't even issue a crisis warning, as if it had gone on strike, but all other functions were working normally.

This undoubtedly exacerbated Thor's unease.

After thinking for a moment, Saul closed the diary. "Douglas was the diary's previous owner. Could he possibly have a way to block the diary's warnings?"

This is not impossible; it is highly likely.

Even Kismet is working for Douglas, who is a fifth-tier wizard and may have other trump cards up his sleeve.

Thinking of this, Thor looked down at the dark red hardcover book that was quietly floating in his palm, his eyes gradually hardening.

"Since we can't be sure whether the diary is still influenced by Douglas, then... let's just not use it!"

Thor put the diary away and sent it to his own destiny line.

Because of the unique nature of the Fate Line, coupled with the enclosed space of the Fate Symphony, even Douglas could not access the diary.

Thor returned to his seat and re-entered the Chroma Channel. This time, he called Char directly.

Speaking of Char, it was actually a backup plan that Thor secretly left behind after discovering that the hole connecting the Chaotic Rift and the Abyss had been sealed.

Char's strength had recently reached the third tier, and Thor originally intended to send him to the Wailing Wall to help Maria defend it. However, Froco suddenly offered to help Thor defend the Wailing Wall in exchange for a place where the merfolk could live.

After Floco was severely injured by Douglas last time, Aquamarine and Coral carried the unconscious Floco away from their new base and headed towards the continent of Stadt, where Thor was located.

But when Froco woke up halfway through, he chose to go to the Wailing Wall.

He then made the decision to help Maria guard the Wall of Sighs.

With Froco officially joining Thor's faction, Char, who was now free, was sent to Klee's side by Thor.

The Chaotic Domain is, after all, a rather enclosed space. To enter or exit quickly, one must either wait for the compass to cool down for a day or consume a large amount of resources to recharge it rapidly.

In this situation, it was very difficult to contact them in time, so Thor asked Char to help Klee, which also served as a communication channel between the two of them.

So when Thor realized that Klee hadn't returned from the Chaos Realm after more than a day, he immediately logged onto the Rainbow Channel to contact Char.

"Char, what happened over there?"

Char's surprise came from the other end of the fate line.

Char: [Thor, you finally contacted me. Klee suddenly discovered today that the Chaos Compass is malfunctioning!]

Thor was shocked. "What?"

He instantly thought of the similarly sealed passage into the abyss. Could it be that the spatial passage between the Chaotic Realm and the Wizarding World had also been sealed?

Wouldn't the chaotic domain now become a completely independent space?

Could it be that the person who sealed off the gap and the passage between the chaotic realm and the wizarding world is the same person?

The name Douglas had already popped into Thor's mind.

If the passage to the Abyss could have been sealed by Camus, then the passage to the Wizarding World could not possibly have been sealed by Camus.

If Camus could do that, he wouldn't have needed to risk invading no man's lands long ago.

Thor's shock gradually subsided. "A fourth-tier wizard's understanding of space is insufficient for them to seal off this spatial passage that has been stable for hundreds of years. Only Douglas could do that."

Douglas must have been the one who suddenly closed the chaotic spatial passage today. And before today, the only unusual thing Thor did was take Kismet down into the abyss.

Thor tapped his fingers repeatedly on the platform floor.

Kismet, was it you who sent a message to Douglas, causing him to suddenly close the Chaotic Realm?

Is it to maintain balance, to prevent the skeleton army from appearing in the wizarding world?

"No," Thor shook his head again, "the army of bones is only fighting against the anchor point monsters in front of the Eye of the Abyss; it won't affect the foundation of the Abyss."

Saul thought of something else.

"Don't resurrect him, stop Camus... Is Douglas trying to prevent me from contacting Camus?"

Thor stopped tapping his fingers, and his eyes shone as if they were glowing.

"Char, don't tell anyone, except Claire and Anne, about how you can contact me."

Okay, so what should we do?

"Given that you can't contact me, just do what you're supposed to do."
