Chapter 37 Giant King’s Court

Chapter 37 Giant King’s Court

Truman calmly withdrew his gaze, no longer focusing on Badhall, and said to Omibella, "I don't see any possibility of success."

"Then who else can you choose?" Omibella stared directly at Truman with her one eye. "The phoenix or the demon? Or perhaps that undefeated one who hasn't yet ascended to godhood?"

The adjacent path is impossible to choose, nor is it a demon. The phoenix Greta lies dormant in the underworld, and her strength is far inferior to that of the giants.

But... I really am the weakest pope!

Of course, the Church of the Night has been secretly proselytizing for hundreds of years, but it is still far inferior to the other ancient god forces.

Truman fell silent, but Omibella interpreted this as a sign that he was already interested.

"You still dare to talk about cooperation? Lilith has been dead for hundreds of years." Truman suddenly said this, which made Omibella and Badhall fall silent.

The fall of the three ancient gods brought the distrust among them to its peak.

"So it's not an alliance, just each getting what they need," Omibella concluded. "After that, we'll go our separate ways."

"Everything is up to my lord to decide." Truman pretended to pray to the gods, but Saslil and the ancient sun god had already told him that everything here was up to him to decide.

The statue of the Creator was bathed in pure, brilliant sunlight that fell upon Truman.

"The Lord has sent me here to make the giants and the elves fight each other." Truman read the divine message from "the Lord" in a chanting tone.

"A war with the elves!" Omibella and Badhall were both stunned, but after a moment of silence, they agreed on behalf of the Giant King, perhaps they had expected this all along.

To cooperate under such circumstances, one must first pay a price and demonstrate sincerity.

"You'll see," Omibella even invited Truman to the Giants' Court.

"Okay!" To everyone's surprise, Truman agreed immediately, and he and Hermes were about to head to the Giants' Court with the two giants, Omibella.

I haven't been to the Giants' Court yet, so I'd like to take a look at the giants as they are today.

Omibella and Badhall were not surprised. After hundreds of years of development, the Giants' Court had become a miraculous kingdom comparable to the City of Miracles of the Dragons, and its strength was considerable.

The dreamlike angel couldn't cause any trouble there.

The three angels and one saint moved with great speed, and the four of them soon arrived at the Giants' Court.

In the splendid yet somber twilight, Truman saw the current state of the Giants' Court.

In that region frozen in twilight, there are countless enormous palaces and towers, and magnificent architectural complexes, grand and splendid, silent in the twilight, full of epic grandeur.

Truman, following the giant queen and the giant king's eldest son into the royal court, was naturally greeted with a grand welcome. The light of dawn and dusk shone together, and the roars of the giant guards seemed to make the whole world tremble.

This is the giant race of the Twin Ages.

The giant population has grown tremendously, and thanks to the potion recipe, the intelligence and rationality of the giant race have been greatly enhanced, making them incredibly powerful.

"Greetings, Queen! Greetings, Prince!" The two towering silver knights knelt on one knee and bowed to Omibella and Badhall.

Two Sequence 3 "Silver Knights" guard the gate; this is the pinnacle of the giant race.

"Go in." Led by Omibella, Truman officially stepped into the Giant King's court and arrived at the divine kingdom of the Giant King.

Truman's senses were pulsating; he detected a gaze filled with indifferent madness and the stench of impending twilight.

This is the gaze of the Giant King.

The injuries this ancient god sustained in that ancient god war have naturally healed, but his mental state remains that of a cold and bloodthirsty ancient god.

"This is our army!" Badhall said arrogantly, pointing to a huge square in the royal court.

This plaza was beyond Truman's imagination; it was large enough to hold ten thousand giants, and inside it was an army of giants lined up in extremely neat rows.

Truman looked around and saw that there were thousands of giants here. With a little sense, he could tell that they were at least mid-to-high-level extraordinary creatures, and there were even nearly ten silver knights!

In this era, which later became known as mythology, extraordinary beings appeared in the form of armies, including even demigods and saints.

"Ten Sequence 3? Or power that I can see..." Such a race of giants is indeed powerful enough.

"The elves have betrayed our king! As his subjects, we must fight for his honor!"

"Marching towards the elves!" The God of Honor, Bradel, merely glanced at Truman and ignored him, immediately setting out to attack the elves.

"Traitor..." Truman's lips twitched. The title of traitor was very subtle, because both the Giant King and the Elf King accused each other of betraying Lilith and the covenant, which led to the terrifying fall of the ancient gods hundreds of years ago.

Both ancient gods firmly believed in their own judgment, and the other ancient gods and angels also thought that the two of them were blaming each other because they did not want to bear the infamy, so no one doubted that there was another possibility.

The situation in the historical fog was extremely chaotic at the time. The demon wolf went mad, the alien king failed to seize the opportunity, and Lilith decisively self-destructed. All of this happened too fast, and even the ancient gods could not penetrate the historical fog to see the truth.

"In a few days you will see news of our full-scale war with the elves, in the name of punishing the traitors!" Badheel declared, adding that the army here was merely the vanguard.

"Alright! I'll wait!" Truman glanced at the army again, nodded slowly, and followed the giant servant into a palace.

However, Truman had barely rested in the giant's palace for half a day when a violent storm of wind and thunder struck the giant's royal court.

"Olmir! You traitor!" A furious roar swept over her like a tidal wave, and even Hermes could not withstand it. Illusory dragon scales covered her body, and she showed signs of losing control.

"Quiet," Truman said softly, suppressing the madness erupting within Hermes, and looked out.

"As expected of the Elf King, known for his tyranny, he's even come all the way here." Truman looked at the ball of blazing white lightning with a solemn expression.

The giants' invasion of the elven territory, ostensibly to punish traitors, enraged the Elven King, who, disregarding everything else, transformed into lightning and stormed the giants' court.

"I'll teach you a lesson today!" The Elf King's furious voice echoed throughout the Giant's Court, and the lightning in the sky reached its peak at that moment, striking the most magnificent temple with fury.

"Suniasolem!" Dusk surged at this moment, vegetation withered, and the void crumbled.

The Giant King Ormir emerged from the temple, clad in dilapidated twilight armor, carrying an exaggerated crimson twilight greatsword, its tip drooping, the gleaming blade flashing with a dangerous light.
