Chapter 36 Cooperation

"Dragon Path Sequence Two, 'The Insightful'." Sasriel tossed the eyeball directly to Truman.

Truman took it in his hands, examined it carefully, and his lips twitched. "Isn't this the mind dragon that Medici and I hunted down back then?"

The mental imprint in those characteristics felt somewhat familiar.

He even took two drops of dragon blood to learn the various abilities of that mind dragon, so his intuition couldn't be wrong.

"You've already received your spoils from Medici; this is what Medici handed over to me," Sasriel said calmly.

Medici is indeed loyal; it's truly remarkable that a mythical creature could possess such an eccentric nature...

"Fine!" Truman didn't care. His Sage's Robe shimmered with light as he directly activated his Extraordinary Ability!

The Sage's Robe now incorporates the "Master" trait, which is the second tier of the "Craftsman" pathway!

Furthermore, with Truman's current in-depth development of the Book of Dreams and his stronger control over the Dream Phosphorescence, he can now fully grasp this extraordinary characteristic.

Before long, Truman's extraordinary ability disappeared, leaving only a somewhat exaggerated dragon mask in his hand.

"Here you go!" Truman tossed the dragon mask to Hermes. "Wearing this mask will give you the ability of the 'Insightful One.' The side effect is that when you use it, you'll generate a cold and insane virtual personality that will likely have a strong tendency toward self-destruction."

For other pathways, the sheer self-destructive tendencies of the virtual personality would be enough to deter most people, but for the Dragon pathway, which controls and "pacifies" the virtual personality, such side effects are virtually nonexistent.

This virtual personality can even be used positively.

"Thank you, Mr. Angel! Thank you, Dark Angel," Hermes said gratefully.

The dragon race is currently at its peak, just like the giant race, making it extremely difficult to acquire the characteristics of the Mind Dragon.

"Hmm!" Sasriel nodded and left, as he still needed to deal with the vast and complex affairs of Heaven.

Truman led Hermes out of the church and directly to the dreamlike church of the largest city-state.

"Call me when they come, Omibella." Truman walked into the depths of the church and merged into the statue.

Now, his statues have been transformed into private residences, allowing people to seamlessly integrate into them.

"Still a little short..." Truman took out the Book of Dreams and turned to the fourth page.

The first three pages are titled "Dreamland," "Cause and Effect," and "Dream," respectively. This is Truman's analysis of "Dream," the most powerful authority in the Book of Dreams.

After all, the "Dream" authority is a bit too complicated for him right now.

In contrast to an omniscient and omnipotent authority, which encompasses almost everything and cannot be directly controlled by anyone except the resurrected God.

Even the designated ancient sun god still had to start from the five divine paths, gradually approaching control of the Chaos Sea and grasping the authority of omniscience and omnipotence.

Truman's analysis of the Book of Dreams is equivalent to the true god dismantling his own authority from above and distributing it to Sequence One through Sequence Nine.

For example, Mr. Fool's power of "fooling" is dismantled from the "diviner" sequence into abilities such as "grafting," "wishes," and "history."

Truman is doing just that kind of work now.

This "dreamlike" concept seems a bit complicated. In the previous two moments of inspiration, he broke down the two most basic and intuitive aspects.

But over the centuries, Truman's understanding of the "Dream" power remained focused on the third ability.

However, this third ability will also be a significant transformation in his understanding of the "Dream" authority!

"I have a feeling that the Book of Dreams can be broken down into several paths!" Truman said, somewhat troubled.

Among the source matter, only the "Key of Light" includes only one pathway.

Without omniscient and omnipotent authority, this kind of work, which is almost a reverse creation process, is really tedious and boring.

However, this analysis of the Book of Dreams did not last long before the giants came looking for them.

"Mr. Angel, the Goddess of Harvest and the God of Dawn have arrived." Truman, who was inside the statue, heard Hermes's announcement and leaped out of the statue.

"It's been a long time, you two." Truman carefully examined the two giants for a while, and compared to him, the two had changed quite a bit.

The madness emanating from him had lessened, and his mental state was much better than when they last met.

This is probably due to the role-playing method.

The potion recipe has been given out; someone will eventually figure out how to use it.

The result of these ancient god races continuing to implement the method was that the tendency to get out of control was greatly reduced, which made these gods even more powerful.

"Long time no see." Omibella showed no sign of surprise, looking at Truman with gentle eyes.

"Hmph!" It's great that Badhall hasn't made any progress.

"You giants want to cooperate with a secret human cult?" Truman didn't want to waste time exchanging pleasantries with the giants and asked directly.

"A secret cult of humanity? I think it's your Dream Cult!" Badhall grumbled.

"Huh? It seems like you haven't made no progress at all. At least you're starting to use your brain." Truman crossed his arms and glanced at him sideways, his eyes filled with encouragement, as if waiting for him to provoke him.

"..." A glimmer of dawn flashed in Badhall's single eye, but he forcefully suppressed it.

This surprised Truman.

"We hope to cooperate with you," Omibella said softly, "and 'you' includes more than just the human cult and Truman."

"Why? Give me a reason to provoke the ancient gods." Truman's eyes showed no surprise; he had expected this.

"We want the phoenix, you want elves and dragons." Omibella's words were earth-shattering!

Truman narrowed his eyes. This was his temple, so naturally no information would be leaked. But what gave the Giant King the right to say such a thing?

Based on that knowledge of similar sequences obtained through guesswork and deduction?

The sequence has been passed down for hundreds of years, and many races have produced demigods and saints, so they naturally have a certain understanding of similar sequence knowledge.

This can answer many of the questions surrounding the ancient gods.

However, due to Sassril's deliberate arrangement, much of that knowledge was incomplete, and even understanding knowledge such as similar sequences was difficult.

Of course, the ancient gods are also a kind of mental stitched-together monster, or they might be driven by their "appetite".

"We'll handle the Goddess of Misfortune ourselves; you've gotten a great deal," Badhall suddenly said.

You probably don't know that I am the Pope of the Night... Truman's lips twitched.

No! Last time, in my dream, I directly conjured a projection of the goddess to attack Him...

Was He unaware of my relationship with the goddess, or... was He doing it on purpose?

This time, Truman really looked at Badhall seriously.

Maybe... they've really developed a brain!
