In the Apocalypse, I Can Enter Hogwarts

Chapter 65 Harry's Plea for Help

Chapter 65 Harry's Plea for Help

When Hermione heard Ian's mysterious explanation, she looked curious and asked softly, "What is it? Does it have to be during summer vacation? Can't it be during Christmas?"

"Christmas is still a bit early, you'll see when the time comes." Ian had no choice but to continue his explanation, which was a mix of coaxing and deception.

"Okay, you're always so mysterious."

Although Hermione has a strong thirst for knowledge, she is not the type to excessively explore secrets.

"Here, this is for you. It's Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class notes. You can study them when you have time, but it's best not to share them with others. Keep it safe, and give it back to me when you no longer need it. I'll return it to Professor McGonagall."

As Ian handed the notebook to Hermione, he added, "Don't put too much pressure on yourself, okay? You can come to me if you need anything, anything."

Ian hadn't forgotten today's topic; he had originally planned to study the notes together. However, seeing Hermione's exhausted expression, he changed his mind and decided to give the notes to her so she could study them in her spare time, rather than rushing to finish them today.

"Ian, thank you. I'll take good care of it, and you're right, magic comes from life, and life is magic. I won't put too much pressure on myself anymore."

Hermione is actually the kind of girl who listens to advice, provided that what you say makes sense.

Ian was somewhat pleased with the other's obedience and said softly, "Alright, let's go. Let's have lunch in the auditorium first, and then you can go back to your dorm and have a nice nap."

Time passed by unnoticed, and it was already close to noon. Ian stood up, dusted off the dirt and grass clippings from his robes, and walked with Hermione toward the castle.

When they left the auditorium, it was just in time for lunch service.

The Great Hall was already filled with students enjoying a sumptuous lunch. Ian and Hermione, who had only eaten some bread and sandwiches that morning, were also quite hungry and naturally joined in the feast. Roast chicken, smoked meat, lamb chops, lettuce, fruit salad, pudding—there was something for everyone.

As Hermione and Ian finished lunch and walked out of the Great Hall, Harry and Ron happened to appear not far in front of them.

Seeing the hesitant expressions on Harry and Ron's faces, it was clear they wanted to speak to Hermione. Therefore, Ian understandingly said, "Go on, your friend is waiting for you; she probably wants to talk to you about something."

Hermione gave Ian an apologetic look upon hearing this, and could only helplessly walk towards the two babies waiting for help.

"Hermione, I've been waiting for you. Malfoy just challenged me to a wizarding duel. But, as you know, I know very little magic. You have to help me," Harry whispered to Hermione for help.

Ron chimed in, "Malfoy's assistant is Vincent Crabbe, and Harry's assistant is me, but I don't think they're going to play by the rules, so I'm asking if you have any powerful spells that can quickly take down that big oaf."

Harry and Ron had developed a habit of asking Hermione for help when problems arose. In short, the two boys were a little flustered at the moment, completely lacking the domineering confidence they had when they agreed to the duel.

Harry was alright, but Ron clearly didn't understand what a secret conversation was, especially when he mentioned that he was Harry's assistant, his boastful tone seemed a bit obvious.

Even though Ian didn't listen attentively, the other person's voice was indeed quite loud. However, this allowed Ian to confirm the progress of the savior's main quest. As for their next topic of conversation, he had no interest in it at all. He calmly turned around and quickened his pace to leave.

Ravenclaw's tower has always been a source of pain for Ian. His free-spirited and lazy nature makes him dislike climbing that steep and long staircase to get back to his dorm.

"I should probably look into Tom's flight spell when I get the chance... It seems Snape knows this spell too, so I'll try to subtly ask him about it." Ian thought to himself as he climbed the stairs, figuring out how to get some benefits from the professor.

Love can happen around the corner, but it can also be an accident. Ian clearly encountered the latter; right at the corner of the stairs, he saw three Slytherins blocking a Ravenclaw.

However, when he discovered that the three Slytherins were all girls, while the Ravenclaw who was being surrounded was a boy, even though the boy was very small, Ian didn't bother with it.

"That figure looks familiar..." Ian walked up the stairs and suddenly felt that the Ravenclaw boy's back looked familiar.
