A street in Berlin.

Groups of two or three people were gathered together on the street, watching a street performer perform magic.

The performer looked quite old, with the marks of time etched on his face, but he still stood up straight, wearing a black top hat like most street magicians, and even in summer he wore a long black overcoat, giving him the air of a magician.

His initial magic tricks were similar to those of other magicians: he first pulled a rabbit out of a top hat, then put it back in and made it disappear.

He then pulled a handful of colorful ribbons out of thin air from his hat and waved them around, eliciting cheers from the children.

Finally, he came up with something unique that was different from other magicians.

With a snap of his fingers, an orchid suddenly bloomed in his palm, which he then gave to a little girl beside him.

The girl screamed excitedly at her mother.

"Mom! This is magic!"

"This is called Magic Baby, it's not magic," her mother explained to her.

"No! This is magic!" the little girl insisted.

Professor Fox crouched down, smiled, and patted her head.

"Yes, you're right, that's magic."

"See, Mom! Even the magician said that." The girl turned to argue with her mother.

She smiled apologetically at Professor Fox in front of the girl's mother.

After the performance, Professor Fox tipped his hat to the audience and gave a gentlemanly bow.

By this time, a considerable number of onlookers had gathered. They applauded Professor Fox's performance and put money into his hat.

The street performance was quite successful.

After the crowd dispersed, before Professor Fox could even tally his earnings for the day, an owl suddenly flew towards him from the horizon.

A letter was thrown in front of him.

He picked it up, glanced at it, and then a smile appeared on his lips.

It was a letter from his prized student, Lynn, asking about the black magic described in a book in his house.

Professor Fox packed his things, preparing to find a place to write a reply to his student.

The owl that delivered the letter must have been ordered by its master beforehand, and it stayed near Professor Fox, waiting for him to finish writing his reply before taking it back.

Just as he was passing through an empty alley, two strange men in long robes suddenly emerged from the shadows in the corner.

One of them said coldly.

"Adrian Fox, you are suspected of violating the International Law on Secrecy. Please cooperate with us for a visit."

Professor Fox had clearly met them before, so he didn't seem particularly surprised.

"I've explained it to you. They think I used magic instead of magic, and I haven't leaked any secrets about the magical world."

The other man had already pulled out his wand and said coldly.

"You just clearly admitted to a Muggle child that you used magic."

"You're not even half my age, so why are you all more old-fashioned and stubborn than me? I was just coaxing children!"

Both Aurors from the German Ministry of Magic raised their wands.

"You can wait until the courtroom and the presiding judge explain."

Professor Fox seemed to have resigned himself to his fate and raised his hands.

"Alright, alright, I'm really scared of you guys."

However, the next moment, with a "snap," he suddenly vanished!

Somewhere a thousand miles away, Professor Fox, who had suddenly appeared, straightened his trench coat, somewhat worried about whether Lynn's owl could still find him.

But he had to move to another place.

Making a living by using real magic as fake magic is one thing, but being hunted down by the local Ministry of Magic is another.

Sigh, life is tough.

He put his top hat back on, strode forward, and crossed vast fields, the wind ruffling his coat as he continued his journey.

……

During the summer holidays, Hermione went to Lynn's house almost every day, which greatly displeased Mr. Granger, but he couldn't bring himself to confine his daughter at home.

Lynn never intended to hide Kira and Umaru's existence from Hermione, nor could she.

He told her the truth, and that he later learned that he was actually a second-generation wizard, that Kira was a house-elf left to him by his parents, and that Umaru was his cousin.

Because Lynn usually paid close attention to Kira's life, he didn't let it live in any bad places, but gave it its own room and even made it a "sheet" that looked like a robe instead of the previous rags. Hermione didn't seem to mind, thinking that house-elves in wizarding families were like butlers in wealthy households.

What surprised her most was that Umaru, the hamster, had turned into Lynn's cousin.

She didn't know about Animagus magic; she only knew about shapeshifting. She thought Umaru transformed from a human into a hamster using shapeshifting.

From their first meeting, she got along very well with Umaru. After all, everyone likes a cute mascot. The dessert Hermione brought when she first came left a deep impression on Umaru. It took a lot of willpower for her to leave a bite for Lynn. From then on, she looked forward to Hermione coming every day... bringing her food.

Hermione's magical talent is indeed remarkable.

These are spells that Lynn has exclusively certified. She can basically learn them by reading them on her own. All she lacks is a little skill in spell recitation and wand wielding.

Lynn can teach him all these little tricks.

"It's not that difficult."

Hermione looked at the cup she had turned pink with a smug expression.

"Because these are just some low-level spells that can't be presented in public," Lynn retorted mercilessly.

Hermione looked defiant.

"Then let me see what a respectable curse is."

Lynn shook her head.

"Not now, but you'll see when we get to Hogwarts tomorrow."

Even after Lynn's magic power reached 9, he hadn't yet experienced the magical effects of the enhanced magic.

According to his estimation, a normal wizard's magic power index should be around 7.

Those with even higher skill levels might get a 9 or 10.

He dared not even guess about those higher, such as Voldemort and Dumbledore; they might have already surpassed 10.

In other words, judging from the magic power index, Lynn's current level has already exceeded that of a normal adult wizard.

The power of the spell is significantly stronger than it was in first year.

Tomorrow is the official start of the school year, and Lynn has not yet received a reply from Professor Fox. This makes him curious about where Professor Fox has gone on his travels, as almost two months have passed without any news.
