At Lynn's home.

Kira did not answer his questions except for bursting into tears.

Lynn didn't even need it to answer; judging from its current reaction, he already knew the answer to the question.

He sighed and put the black cross in his hand into his pocket.

To be honest, being a descendant of Grindelwald only sounds prestigious; in reality, aside from his talent for dark magic, all that's left for him is trouble.

The Professor Fox who was with him these past two days was clearly a fake; it was obvious from some of the subtle details. Lynn had a guess about who he really was, but because of the identity of the person he was guessing, this guess could only remain a guess in his heart for the rest of his life.

As for those saints, Lynn thought that the reason they lied later might be because the fake Professor Fox was present, or it might be for some other reason.

However, that's not important. He simply couldn't possibly go looking for those former followers of Grindelwald. Under Dumbledore's nose, someone of his status would be asking for trouble if he dared to make contact with that force.

He didn't blame Kira for tricking him into Abrose. That was just how things were back then. Before they had established absolute trust, if Kira had told Lynn that he would lose his magic if he entered that city, Lynn would have turned around and left. His life at Hogwarts was going smoothly, so why would he take that risk?

Even now, if he were to go back to that time and choose again, Lynn would never enter that city at this time, because the risks and rewards would be completely different.

The increase in magic power and the Black Cross's wandless spellcasting effect are merely icing on the cake for him now, not essential. But without magic power, he would be utterly useless as a wizard.

Lynn didn't say much to Kirado. He hadn't had a proper rest in the past two days and now all he wanted to do was lie down on his familiar bed and get some sleep.

He slept until noon the next day.

When he woke up, Kira had already prepared lunch for him.

This decadent lifestyle, reminiscent of an old-fashioned nouveau riche, made Lynn despise himself while he ate heartily from his bowl.

"So what's the story behind this house I'm living in now? And where did all that inheritance I'm left to come from?"

Kira hesitated before sitting down opposite Lynn. It had originally intended to stand, but Lynn asked it to sit so it could talk more easily, and that's why it agreed to sit down.

"Your parents do exist in Muggle society, but they have no children. Kira used a forgetting spell to alter some Muggle memories, giving you this false identity."

"And what about this? What is it?" Lynn pointed to the little guy lying on the table, his small eyes fixed intently on the meat on his plate.

Kira looked at the white hamster, hesitated for a moment, and then spoke.

"You don't need to hide it from your little master anymore, Sophia. Change back."

Upon hearing Kira's instructions, Umaru leaped off the dining table and instantly transformed from an animal into a human.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

The little girl, who had transformed into human form, even added her own sound effects.

Lynn was stunned.

Things have really changed!

"Who...who is she?" The situation was too sudden, and the amount of information was too overwhelming; Lynn was somewhat unable to process it.

Kira explained to him, "Her full name is Sofia Basak, and she's a distant cousin of yours."

"She's an Animagus?" Lynn was shocked because she looked so young, only seven or eight years old at most.

"Her situation is a bit special..." Kira didn't know how to explain it to Lynn. "Her Animagus was present at birth, but it wasn't exactly congenital; it's related to her mother."

"Then why is she following you?"

"It was her mother who asked her to be given to Kira, and Kira has been raising her all these years."

The hamster girl made a face at Kira, then looked at Lynn and blinked pitifully.

"Cousin, aren't you going to give me a gift?"

Hearing her say that, Lynn quickly touched her pockets.

"Um, this was a bit too sudden. I wasn't prepared beforehand. How about I make it up to you next time?"

The little girl shook her head like a rattle drum.

"No, no, actually... that's fine."

Looking in the direction she was pointing, it was at the meatballs on the plate that Lynn hadn't had a chance to eat yet.

"That's the little master's lunch! Not yours!" Kira shouted angrily.

Lynn hesitated, not because she was reluctant to part with the gift, but because she felt it was too casual.

"Isn't this too simple a gift for meeting someone?"

"This is no simple matter, no simple matter at all! Such a large meatball is anything but simple!"

"Then you can have it."

He pushed the plate in front of the little girl, but before he could even hand her the fork, Umaru opened her mouth and started gnawing on the meatball.

"Delicious!"

"Your name is...Sophia?"

"That's the name Kira gave me, but I don't like it. You can call me James Bond!"

Lynn was speechless.

"Then I'll still call you Umaru. How did you live with Kira before?"

"Kira used to live with me in a place not far from here. Actually, she was pretty good to me before. She cooked for me every day, although there wasn't much meat, but at least once every three days. She even put on TV for me to watch. 007 was so cool! And Terminator too! But after you went to Hogwarts, I could only be a hamster every day, eating bread and biscuits."

"Didn't I feed you meat later?"

"But you were already suspicious of me at that time. I was afraid that if you found out I was a spy, you would chop me up and cook me. So every meal of meat felt like my last meal."

"You're a hamster, not a bamboo rat..."

"Anything that's rodent-like should not be eaten!"

Lynn chatted with Xiaomai for a while, finding this suddenly appearing cousin quite interesting.

After lunch, Kira was busy cleaning up the dishes in the kitchen. Lynn wanted to do it himself, but Kira firmly refused. Umaru lay on the sofa, hugging her tummy, and closed her eyes contentedly, ready to take a nap.

With nothing else to do, Lynn went to the balcony to digest her food.

It has been a year since I left home, but the yard is still well-maintained and there is no sign that it has been uninhabited for a long time.

Lynn, of course, hadn't forgotten who had done this, and he planned to visit Miss Granger next door that afternoon to properly thank her.

Just as he was thinking about what gift to bring when he visited, Lynn suddenly felt two malicious eyes staring at him!

He was startled and looked in the direction of the gaze.

Downstairs at his house, outside the main gate, stood two people, one tall and one short.

He had tall, greasy hair and a pale face, and in the middle of summer he wore a black robe that covered his entire body, looking like an old bat spirit.

She was short with long, fluffy chestnut hair, big eyes, a high nose, and wore a cute little dress, looking like a little squirrel.

They all stared blankly at Lynn on the balcony with eyes that could freeze a person to death.

After a full five seconds of stunned silence, Lynn finally understood what had happened and was immediately drenched in cold sweat.

A large "Danger" character was floating above his head!
