There are many things you wouldn't expect.

Seeing that he was no longer hiding, Professor Fox stopped wasting words with him and immediately unleashed an Avada Kedavra.

Wilkes ran to dodge the Killing Curse while retaliating with green light.

In an instant, the woods became lush and green.

"Fox, I think we can talk!" Wilkes tried to negotiate with Professor Fox.

"Do you know what I've regretted all these years in Azkaban?" His eyes were bloodshot, burning with rage and hatred that seemed capable of consuming his very soul.

"I've always regretted it! I regret letting those five bastards die so easily! How could the Cruciatus Curse possibly be enough? I should have tortured them more, tortured them until their very souls were filled with remorse! Remorse for what they had done!"

"The Divine Blade is Without a Shadow!"

An invisible blade swept outwards in all directions, centered on Professor Fox!

Countless trees were snapped in half and fell to the ground with a series of loud "booms"!

Wilkes's expression immediately changed. He had once been a Death Eater who followed the Dark Lord and had witnessed the devastating dark magic created by his colleague Snape.

But he was certain that the effect of the Divine Sword Without Shadow was definitely not that exaggerated!

Just like the Killing Curse that killed the spider swarm before, the Divine Slash Curse has also been improved by Professor Fox!

Without hesitation, he immediately lay down, and almost the next second, the sharp blade swept across.

The centaur escaped a section because he was paralyzed on the ground, but Aragog, whose joints were bound, was not so lucky.

"You're a madman! You're a madman!" Wilkes yelled as he got up from the ground.

He was covered in mud and looked extremely disheveled.

Professor Fox had just unleashed a powerful attack, and he wasn't in good shape. Excessive use of magic had left him pale and panting, clutching his knees, his strength waning.

"Smoke billowing everywhere!"

Just then, Wilkes suddenly used a low-level smoke spell.

White smoke gradually began to rise around them, obscuring their vision, and Professor Fox became secretly wary.

He didn't underestimate this spell, which even first-year students at Hogwarts knew how to use. He chose to break the Smoke Curse in the fastest way possible.

"All curses have ended!"

Universal dispelling spells can forcibly remove the effects of most spells, and the Smoke Curse is no exception.

Just as the smoke was about to dissipate, Professor Fox suddenly heard the sound of horses' hooves!

A unicorn with vacant eyes, controlled by the Imperius Curse!

Wilkes was in pain all over his body, and his mind was stretched to the limit. After seeing that the unicorn's attack was effective, he gave up on the Imperishable Charm. The magical resistance of this magical creature was too strong. If he hadn't been persistent in using the Imperishable Charm on it, he wouldn't have been able to control it.

"Now that his plan has worked," Wilkes laughed with relief.

"Fox! I won!"

The unicorn regained consciousness and stared blankly at Fox, who was strung on its horn. It then pulled its horn out of Fox's belly and fled in a panic.

Professor Fox is not dead yet, but he feels he is not far from dying.

He lay on the muddy ground, trembling as he pulled out all sorts of potions from the pocket of his trench coat, gulping down a bunch and pouring some into the horrific, gaping wound on his stomach that was visible from front to back.

Wilkes was ecstatic. He was also badly injured, but he felt he was much stronger than Fox.

"You're going to die soon! Fox! When you die, I'll be free... I'll be free... I'm going to escape this hellhole! I'm going to leave England! I'm going to leave this damn place..."

He struggled with all his might to get up from the ground, his blood staining a large patch of earth. He picked up the centaur's spear as a crutch and tried to walk to Fox.

"I'm going to kill you... Only by killing you with my own hands... can I forget... forget the horrific deaths of Lestrange and the others... Only by killing you with my own hands... can I finally sleep peacefully... Ahhh!"

Wilkes suddenly let out a chilling scream as the wounds on his body slowly lengthened and widened.

Like a dozen or so worms, they were quietly feasting on his flesh and blood.

He fell to the ground again less than ten meters away from Fox, and the pain that seemed to be etched into his soul drove him crazy!

Professor Fox, clutching his still-bleeding stomach, chuckled softly.

"This isn't so bad, really. We'll die together, it's really... good. Thank you, Merlin..."

His voice gradually faded, as if he were talking to himself.

"I've left everything I could to you, Lynn. I hope you can continue and finish everything I didn't finish..."
