My Hogwarts has a serious problem.
Chapter 470, Grade 468.5
Chapter 471, Section 468: Fifth Grade
George's words served as a reminder to everyone present.
They turned to look for Lynn, but after boarding the train, Lynn and Umaru disappeared without a trace.
Hermione did not leave with him, and Lynn had already told her in advance that Hogwarts would be holding the Triwizard Tournament this year.
But she was very tight-lipped; she even managed to keep the fact that she used the Time-Turner to take an elective course last semester a secret from Harry and Ron for a whole year. Naturally, she wouldn't easily reveal the secret that Lynn told her in private.
Moreover, George and the others were unaware that Hermione knew about this.
They hadn't even realized that Lynn and Hermione were already together.
After boarding the train, Lynn went straight to the back of the train, where he would sit every year, while Umaru went to find her friends.
She made many friends during her year at Hogwarts; almost every Slytherin freshman knew this big sister.
Lynn pushed open the door to the private room, where Cedric and Ian were already seated.
"The stands could hold a full 100,000 people, and almost all the seats were filled. That means there were at least 100,000 wizards watching the game at that time."
Cedric was excitedly explaining the Quidditch World Cup to Ian, and he was wearing a shamrock badge for the Irish team on his shirt, making him look like a die-hard Irish fan.
"You were sitting on the third seat above me, I even saw you," Lynn said, sitting down opposite Cedric.
"I was probably too excited at the time, and I didn't see you sitting below me. Why didn't you call me?"
"Because I saw your dad talking to someone while you were being pulled aside, I didn't go over," Lynn explained, then turned to look at Ian.
"Didn't I send you a ticket too? Why didn't I see you at the game?"
Ian shook his head and said.
"I was already prepared to go, but I received an invitation to a very important banquet hosted by my fiancée's mother, and I couldn't refuse."
Lynn and Cedric then revealed an expression of understanding.
They already knew that Ian had a fiancée, an engagement arranged by his father before his death, and that he himself did not dislike his fiancée, so it was indeed difficult to refuse.
The three of them hadn't seen each other for a whole summer vacation, so naturally they had a lot to talk about.
Cedric also mysteriously told them that Hogwarts would be holding a big event this year, but he couldn't explain what the event was.
His father was very principled; even though he knew some things, he didn't tell his son beforehand.
When the food cart arrived at their private room at noon, Lynn bought a large portion of crucible cake for the three of them for lunch. During this time, Xiaomai peeked over and stole some snacks.
The train traveled all day, and it gradually got dark, but the rain showed no signs of stopping. Instead, it turned into a torrential downpour, pounding against the train carriages.
Ten minutes before their arrival, Lynn and his companions changed into robes in the carriage, then disembarked and boarded a Thestral carriage to head towards the gates of Hogwarts.
Those new young wizards who enrolled this year are in for a rough time.
Even with the heavy rain, they still had to walk to the Black Lake and then row a small boat into the castle.
This is a path that every new student must take; no one is exempt.
Some of the new students brought umbrellas and were able to use them, while others had no choice but to brave the heavy rain and follow Hagrid to Black Lake.
After Lynn and his companions stepped off the Thestrals' carriage, they encountered Peeves blocking the castle gate before they even entered the castle grounds. Peeves was carrying a large bunch of water balloons.
Pipi giggled and threw a water bomb at the students who had just entered the hall. The girls screamed and rushed into the auditorium.
"They're already soaking wet, right? Hey, kid! Take this!"
Harry couldn't dodge in time and was hit in the shoes by Peeves' water bomb, instantly soaking his sneakers inside and out.
Professor McGonagall, the Vice-Headmaster and Head of Gryffindor, rushed out of the Great Hall. The floor was too wet, and she slipped, quickly grabbing Hermione's neck to avoid falling.
"Oh dear—I'm so sorry, Miss Granger—"
"It's alright, Professor!" Hermione said breathlessly, rubbing her throat.
"Peepy, get down here right now!" Professor McGonagall roared, adjusting her top hat and glaring up through her square-framed glasses.
"I didn't do anything! I just wanted to help them take a shower." Pipi Ghost smiled slyly.
"I suggest you leave right away, you little devil."
Upon hearing this calm voice, Pikachu instinctively shivered. He glanced in terror at Lynn, who was looking at him, and without uttering a word, slunk away with the remaining water bombs.
The person the entire school feared most was neither Professor McGonagall nor Dumbledore, but Lynn, who had once used him for spell experiments.
It never wants to experience that feeling of being squeezed and kneaded again in its life.
After chasing away Pikachu, the students entered the auditorium.
The auditorium was as magnificent as ever, and it had been specially decorated for the new semester banquet. Hundreds of candles floated above the tables, making the gold plates and goblets sparkle.
The four long college tables were already filled with chattering students, and at the top of the auditorium was a fifth table, where faculty members sat one on each side, facing their students.
However, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor was not in the professor's seat. Instead, there was an old man with a full head of white hair, wearing a trench coat and glasses.
The young wizards below fifth grade were all speculating whether this new professor was their newly appointed Defense Strategy Professor, since Professor Lupin had resigned last year and it was clear that a new professor was coming this year.
The students who were in the same year as Lynn and those who were older than Lynn all recognized the old man sitting in the professor's chair as Professor Fox, who had taught them a year of defense courses.
The older students were also discussing it.
They were all speculating whether Dumbledore had brought Professor Fawkes back.
However, their doubts did not last long. After the sorting exams were over and everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, a black-robed wizard with a limp, a wooden prosthetic leg, and a blind eye, carrying a magical prosthetic eye that kept moving around, walked into the hall.
