My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

"It seems our luck isn't very good."

Lynn squinted at the coastline ahead and said softly.

Then, he flapped his wings and began to rise, and only after he had risen to a sufficient distance did he look at the coastline and confirm his guess.

"We're not on a continent right now, but on an island, which is most likely still an uninhabited island."

Lynn made his judgment, while Hermione cautiously peeked out to look at the surging waves below.

"So what should we do now?"

"We can't go out to sea," Lynn said calmly. "We don't even know which ocean this island is in, nor can we determine which direction to take to reach the nearest continent. Moreover, if we are attacked or something happens at sea, we basically have no chance of survival."

He glanced at the not-so-dense forest on the ground.

"We'll ambush them on this island, and my emotions will gradually recover. This process won't be long and can even be accelerated. Once I'm able to unleash my full power, we can leave here openly and no one can stop us."

Hermione was now completely under Lynn's control, and they flew down towards the seaside forest on the ground, disappearing into the lush foliage.

Not long after they left, a large group of wizards riding flying brooms arrived at the place they had been before.

Looking at the ocean before them, one of the subordinates whispered to the leading male wizard.

"Boss, they might have already escaped from here?"

The male wizard remained silent, but the witch from the Hall of Prophecy spoke first.

"The spells we placed around this island did not have any effect, which means they are still on the island and have not chosen to escape."

The witch didn't look at the Auror who had asked the question while she was speaking; instead, she kept her eyes fixed on the wizard.

The wizard's face had long since calmed down from anger, but this did not mean that his hatred for Lynn had disappeared in the slightest. Rather, it was covered by calmness and quietly fermented.

"You don't need to remind me like this. I know what I promised Congress before I came here. As long as they haven't left the island, our mission hasn't failed."

The witch said calmly, "It's best that you have such awareness, sir."

"But my men alone are not enough," the wizard said, staring at her. "I need other help."

"All the Aurors serving Congress work for you. I've only ever heard of you trying to lay off staff every year; I've never heard of you being short of manpower."

"If the Aurors suffer too many casualties here, Congress won't be able to explain it to the people. What will they say? That so many people were sacrificed just to hunt down two teenagers? They don't care about any prophecy; they only care about what's in front of them."

The wizard's words silenced the witch.

She spoke again after a long while.

"I will apply to Congress to hire an international group of wizards to come here and be under your command, but you must also fulfill your promise."

The wizard waved to the Aurors behind him, and the black-robed wizards scattered and landed on their flying brooms, preparing to begin a large-scale search of the island.

"He killed my men. I won't just give up and slink back like that. I want to see just how much skill a boy in his teens really has."

Lynn is digging a hole now.

To be precise, he was supervising a shovel as it dug a hole.

When Lynn first got his hands on the scepter, he didn't realize how perfect it was. It wasn't until he gradually discovered all its functions that he realized it truly deserved to be a creation of the four great masters of Hogwarts.

Besides being able to become normal, the most crucial thing is that it possesses a relatively rudimentary sense of self.

For example, the flying sword that Lynn conjured up wasn't flying because of the sword's characteristics, but because the scepter itself could achieve that effect.

It's the same now; it's become a large shovel, deftly digging a hole under a small mound of earth.

Not only that, it is also responsible for transporting the excavated soil to the outside of the cave and making the entrance more concealed, just like those hardworking employees who work overtime for unscrupulous capitalists.

Lynn and Hermione were right behind it, continuing to venture deeper into the cave.

The grove they chose to hide in wasn't very large, and the number of wizards chasing them was already quite large. If they simply hid in the grove like this, they wouldn't be able to hold out for long.

So Lynn found a secluded mound, dug a hole beneath it, and concealed the entrance with a pile of weeds.

This method works for ordinary people, but if wizards investigate carefully, they will eventually find something is wrong.

However, Lynn hadn't planned to hide here for long anyway.

The scepter that had transformed into a shovel was still diligently expanding the size of the hole, while Lynn and Hermione sat down facing each other.

"I have something important to tell you."

Lynn's tone remained calm, but Hermione could still tell that he was trying his best to appear serious.

Her face was covered in mud, making her look a bit disheveled, but her expression remained relaxed, and she even had the mood to crack a little joke with Lynn.

"Are you saying that if we can't escape, we'll have to spend the rest of our lives in this cave?"

"That's impossible. We'll definitely escape, no, we'll fight our way out."

Lynn, in his current state, was utterly devoid of any charm, and spoke with earnestness and certainty.

Hermione pouted.

"So what are you trying to tell me?"

Lynn seemed to be organizing his thoughts, thinking about how to begin.

After a long pause, he slowly spoke.

"Do you remember the strange things I did after I summoned my Patronus at the Quidditch pitch last time?"

When he mentioned this, Hermione's face involuntarily turned slightly red.

Why bring this up all of a sudden?

Even if Lynn noticed that she was shy, she wouldn't be able to say anything in her current state, and continued talking to herself.

"After using the Guardian Spell to summon the Guardian God and suppressing my emotions, I discovered that as long as I do something that causes my emotions to fluctuate greatly, I can speed up the recovery of my emotions."

Just like that time, after you kissed my cheek, the recovery time that would normally take at least five days was shortened to three days.

Actually, there's a problem I've realized I subconsciously ignore and don't think about things when I'm in a normal state.

That's why your kiss on me causes such a big emotional fluctuation.

Losing emotional connection is a bad thing, but it also makes me see some problems more clearly than before, or problems that I subconsciously ignored but can no longer ignore now.

Lynn stared at Hermione, and Hermione met his gaze.

She didn't know what was wrong with her, or perhaps she had already realized what Lynn wanted to say. Her face was burning hot, like it could fry an egg, and her heart was beating faster than ever before, even after the dangerous situation she had been in.

"I think I like you, Hermione."

Lynn spoke so calmly, yet so profoundly.
