Chapter 390, Section 387: Do you want revenge?

On the morning of the first day of the Christmas holidays, Lynn, Harry, and the other two met in the Great Hall.

There's really no need to schedule a time. Every year, very few people stay for Christmas. Now, in the entire castle, including the four of them plus Tom and Umaru, there are less than 10 students left.

You can basically run into them at every mealtime.

The day after Ron didn't lie in the school infirmary, Black still acted with restraint, knowing that Ron was Harry's friend, and only used a Stunning Charm on him.

His previous terrible expression was purely due to being frightened.

The three of them did indeed look very down; Ron was frightened, and Harry was depressed after learning the truth.

Hermione is fine; she was just affected by their emotions.

"No matter what, we're celebrating Christmas now, so cheer up and stop looking so gloomy."

Lynn's words had little effect; Harry and Ron remained listless, showing little interest in the lavish breakfast spread across the table.

"Alright, since that's the case, I have to tell you in advance what Christmas presents I plan to give you this year. I guarantee you'll be quite interested."

Lynn said with a mysterious expression.

Out of respect for him, Harry and Ron pretended to be cheerful.

"Would you like to send me a limited edition Wizard's Chess set?"

"My flying broomstick broke. Are you planning to buy me a new one?"

Lynn shook her head.

"Ron, you already have enough wizard chess pieces. As for Harry's flying broom, someone will give it to you. If I buy you another one, it will be redundant. You don't really need so many."

"So what are you planning to give us?"

Harry muttered softly.

Lynn said casually, "How about I help you catch Sirius Black?"

The three people on the table were all stunned.

It took them quite a while to come to their senses. Harry and Ron's previously grim expressions vanished, replaced by immense excitement.

Do you know where he is?

"That's right! You're not afraid of him; he should be afraid of you!"

"No!"

Only Hermione frowned in opposition: "This is too dangerous. Even if Lynn isn't afraid of him, we shouldn't let him take such a risk. If you know his whereabouts, we can tell Professor Dumbledore and have him inform the Aurors at the Ministry of Magic."

Harry and Ron were dampened by her words, but there was nothing they could say.

After all, Lynn really didn't need to take risks for them.

Lynn reassured Hermione, "Don't worry, I have a way to deal with Black. Nothing will happen. I can even let Harry take revenge himself."

Harry said sullenly, "Did Hermione tell you?"

"I knew this much earlier than you did. Even if Hermione hadn't told me, I would have known exactly what kind of person Black was."

"Then why didn't you tell me this from the beginning? Were you afraid I would go after Blake and seek revenge?"

Harry was quite emotional; he had been holding this question in for a long time, and today he could finally ask someone in the know.

"Some things aren't what you think, Harry. Sometimes you can't even trust what people see, let alone what they hear," Lynn patiently explained to him.

"Do you remember the prophecy I told you about before?"

"Moonface, Wormtail, Bigfoot, and Fork—I've seen these four names on the map George and the others gave me."

"The Marauder's Map? It's true that you can see them on it, because that's what they left behind. But what I'm trying to say is that some things, like the prophecies I told you about, you have to think about and understand for yourself to get what you really want to know."

Lynn's words were vague, leaving not only Harry but also Ron and Hermione, who were listening nearby, looking completely bewildered.

"It's too early to talk about this now; let's get back to the main point. Do you want to catch Blake?"

Harry replied hastily, "Of course I want to!"

Lynn shrugged: "If you trust me, I can catch him for you myself, and you can even beat him up to vent your anger."

"But he's a notorious dark wizard, and I can't beat him," Harry said, ashamed.

He wanted to take revenge himself, but reason told him that if he went straight to Blake, it would be suicide.

"I told you I could help you," Lynn said, raising an eyebrow, before pulling a bottle of golden potion from his pocket.

He placed the potion on the table and asked, "Do you know what this is?"

Harry and Ron, those two good-for-nothings, certainly didn't recognize Felix Felicis, which was beyond their knowledge as third-year students, but Hermione knew exactly what the potion was.

"Felix Felicis, one of the most precious magical potions in the magical world, is said to bring good luck to those who drink it."

"This potion is for you. You can drink it when you face Blake."

Hermione looked confused; she believed Lynn wouldn't let Harry do something that would deliberately lead to his death.

"Felix Felicis only increases a person's luck, it doesn't make Harry invincible. Even if he drank it, he still couldn't beat Black."

"I'll be watching over him. I can make sure Harry is safe and none of Black's curses will fall on him."

"But even so, we still don't know where Black is hiding," Harry asked, puzzled.

Blake's whereabouts were always under Lynn's control. Whether he was in his black dog form or had transformed back into human form, there was always a raven sharing Lynn's vision following him above his head.

At this very moment, Black is disguised and picking out a Christmas present for Harry at a flying broomstick shop in Diagon Alley.

Coincidentally, that shop was owned by Lynn's family.

"I have a way to get him out on his own, but I'll need Ron's help."

As Lynn spoke, he pulled a mouse out of the pocket of his robe.

The mouse looked old and listless, and most importantly, it was missing a tiny finger from its forelimb.

"Blemish!"

Upon seeing the mouse, Ron exclaimed with delight and eagerly took it from Lynn's hands.

But once the mouse was in his hands, it immediately reverted to being an ordinary, lively young mouse that could be bought anytime at a pet store in Diagon Alley.

Ron's face immediately fell again.

Given this situation, even someone as dim-witted as him would understand that the freckles he had seen earlier were just a shapeshifting spell used by Lynn.
