My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 231, Section 228: The Entrance at Hogwarts

"You're looking for that old woman, Rose Daniels?"

The clerk at the Owl Post Office looked up at Lynn with some surprise, seemingly astonished that anyone knew he was one of them.

"Go inside. She lives next to the owl shed. If you're leaving later, just go through the back door. I'm about to close up shop."

"Thanks."

Lynn nodded to him and walked toward the back of the post office.

As the name suggests, the Owl Post Office is a post office that uses owls as couriers. When sending larger items, one or two owls are definitely not enough. For example, when Rozier sent Lynn a huge pile of things in his second year, he hired more than a dozen owls.

So, just like the owl shed at Hogwarts, there was also an owl shed built behind this post office, and someone was hired to take care of these little guys. This person was Granny Daniel, whom Lynn was looking for on this trip.

When Lynn arrived at the owl shed, he saw an old witch feeding the owls.

She looked very old, with a hunched back, wearing reading glasses, gray hair, a dirty dark blue robe, and a patched pointed hat.

The shed was just as well-maintained as the Hogwarts owl shed, crowded yet clean and orderly. The owls were mostly not quiet, as nighttime was when they should be active, but although they were making noise, they all stood obediently on the wooden frame, waiting for the old witch to distribute the prepared insects into the troughs in front of them.

The number of owls here may not be less than that at Hogwarts, but Hogwarts' owlhouse is tended by hundreds of house-elves in rotation, while here there is only the old witch.

Beneath her lay a large copper basin filled with tiny worms that resembled maggots. The old witch gently tapped the basin with her old wand, which was about the same age as her, and the worms were magically drawn to the feeding trough in front of the owls.

A huge swarm of maggots was flying around, which gave Lynn goosebumps.

Grandma Daniel had already noticed Lynn walking in, but she just glanced at him expressionlessly, showing no intention of communicating with him.

Lynn didn't feel embarrassed. The more capable a person is, the more eccentric their temper is. Besides, Aberforth had already warned him before he came that unless he mentioned his name, the old witch wouldn't pay any attention to him.

"Hello, Granny Danielle, the owner of Pig Head Bar sent me here to find you."

Grandma Daniel paused for a moment, turned around and looked Lynn over carefully, then spoke in a hoarse, strange voice.

"What did that old man send you here for?"

"I'd like to inquire about some secrets of Hogsmeade. He said you've always lived there, so I hope you can offer me some assistance."

"Hehehe," Granny Daniel chuckled strangely, "You've given him quite a bit of money, haven't you?"

Lynn scratched his brow and chuckled dryly, "He charged me 100 Galleons."

Grandma Daniel chuckled and shook her head, then walked into a wooden hut next to the owl shed with her hands behind her back.

"Come in and have a seat."

Lynn followed her into the cabin. The cabin was somewhat similar to Hagrid's, but despite its small size and many belongings, it was not cluttered. It was clear that Granny Daniel's hygiene habits were much better than those of that slovenly Aberforth.

After entering the house, Grandma Daniel took off her robe, used a cleansing spell, and then put on a dark green house robe.

She sat in a large rocking chair, swaying back and forth with her eyes half-closed. She pointed at the teapot on the stove, and the teapot flew over by itself, pouring a cup of hot tea for both Lynn and herself.

"The old man is greedy for money, but he sold me for a good price for a hundred Galleons," Granny Daniel said leisurely, sipping her hot tea.

Lynn didn't speak, afraid that if he revealed that the hundred gallons was actually money he had spent to book the entire venue, and that coming to her was just a bonus from Aberforth, the old witch would immediately kick him out with sticks.

"There are many untold secrets about Hogsmeade. Which one would you like to know?"

"I've heard there's a treasure trove in Hogsmeade Village?"

Lynn didn't specify what place he was looking for at the Hog's Head because he was afraid that the person who actually took the basilisk away was hiding in Hogsmeade. If he directly asked Hogsmeade if there were any legends about the treasure location, he would definitely alert the basilisk.

But now he didn't have such concerns in front of Daniel's mother-in-law. After all, she was introduced by Dumbledore's own brother, so it was unlikely that she had any connection with the Basilisk.

"You've come to Hogsmeade to search for treasure?" Granny Daniel chuckled. "Treasure troves can have many meanings. Froome, who runs a candy store, hid a stash of money in the cellar without his wife's knowledge. Isn't that a treasure trove too?"

Lynn shook his head: "The treasure trove I'm looking for may not actually contain gold or silver. It might have been hiding some treasure before, but someone may have taken it away. The place needs to be well-hidden, large enough, and few people know where it is."

The place that could hide the basilisk must not be too small. The basilisk was over twenty feet long, which is six or seven meters long. Moreover, it was so big that an ordinary cellar could not hold it.

"There are many conditions. If Hogsmeade had such a place and I knew about it, I should have a deep impression of it." Granny Danielle recalled in her rocking recliner, and soon she began to tell a legend.

"In the past, before the goblins took over Hogsmeade, those ugly creatures built many large cellars here. Some of these underground chambers were used as prisoner-of-war camps during the goblin rebellion to hold captured wizard prisoners of war, while others were used to house the old, weak, sick, and disabled goblins."

As for the various weapons they forged and the gold and silver treasures needed for war, which the goblins valued so highly, they would naturally need such a cellar. Since they had enough weapons and treasures, the cellar should be large enough that it wouldn't necessarily be discovered by the Ministry of Magic after their defeat. The goblins were very united, especially when it came to treasure. They would work together to conceal the existence of this vault. Then, after the wizards and goblins reconciled and rebuilt trust, they would move all the treasure from the vault to Gringotts and proudly hide this treasure trove forever, ensuring that no one would ever know.

Lynn stared at Danielle's mother-in-law: "How did you know that?"

"Me? I don't know," Daniel said slowly. "What I just said was just my guess, but it's true that the goblins built many large cellars in Hogsmeade. As for whether there is such a treasure trove, you can treat it as a legend. Whether the legend is true or not, whether this place actually exists or not, is all up to you to verify. I can't help you with that."

"Where are the entrances to these cellars? I've heard that there's a war criminal camp built by goblins in Hogsmeade. The ancestors of the Honeydukes Sweet Shop moved to Hogsmeade for that reason, but they've searched for three generations and still haven't found the entrance to these cellars."

"I can indeed offer some advice on this," Granny Danielle said, swirling the hot tea in her cup. "Hogsmeade has been thoroughly searched by three generations of the Froome family, yet they still haven't found the entrance to the cellar. Therefore, the entrance isn't in Hogsmeade."

"Where could it be?"

"Besides Hogsmeade, aren't there any other suitable hiding places for wizards around here?"

Lynn's pupils contracted sharply: "You mean the entrance is at Hogwarts?"

That's certainly possible. After all, the basilisk was originally in Hogwarts Castle. If it wanted to go to a new hiding place in Hogsmeade, going there directly would inevitably risk being seen. But if it could go directly from Hogwarts Castle to this place, there would be no such worry.

Grandma Daniel shook her head: "I didn't tell you that, you guessed it yourself, it has nothing to do with me."

Lynn understood what she meant. She was now a middle-aged wizard, and she couldn't just walk into Hogwarts to find the entrance openly. She didn't want to be implicated if anything went wrong.

"If I enter Hogwarts and want to find this entrance, what advice could you give me?"

"That old man's face is only this big. After you finish asking this question, you're out of here," Granny Danielle said mercilessly as she finished her tea.

"This is my last question."

"The goblins took over Hogsmeade in 1612, but I believe they started building the cellars much earlier. At that time, they probably hadn't completely broken with the wizards yet, and someone in the castle must have known that they wanted to build the entrance to Hogwarts."

Lynn frowned: "But so many years have passed, those who knew back then must be long dead."

"Can't dead people speak?"

Lynn was clearly not a fool; he immediately understood what Granny Daniels meant.

"You mean, the ghosts of Hogwarts!"

"The two oldest ghosts at Hogwarts are from Slytherin and Ravenclaw. The Bloody Sir is aloof and won't talk to you about his past, but the lady who lives in the Eagle's Nest is different."

Lynn suddenly stood up from his chair and thanked Grandma Danielle earnestly.

"Thank you for reminding Grandma Daniel."

"Thank me and then you can go. As you get older, you need to go to bed earlier and not stay up late."

Lynn didn't bother her any longer and left in a hurry.

The dim light illuminated the small room, and the cramped space returned to tranquility.

Grandma Danielle sat in her rocking chair, swaying back and forth as she looked at the tea leaves left at the bottom of her teacup, and inexplicably laughed.

"A traveler of time, a future shrouded in mist, the head of the stars of Hogwarts, interesting, very interesting."
