My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 208, Section 205: The Foodie and the Positive Intentions

The start of Hogwarts school is getting closer and closer.

On Tuesday, Hermione and Harry wrote to each other and arranged to meet in Diagon Alley that day.

She ran to Lynn's house early in the morning and woke him up.

"My parents will be coming with us; they're both very curious about that magical street. Harry and Ron will be there too; I've arranged to meet them in Diagon Alley today."

While listening to the excited little girl chattering away, Lynn stuffed the remaining half of the bread with jam into his mouth.

"Yes, it's been over a month since you last met."

"You didn't take me with you when you dropped Harry off at Ron's last time!"

"I was on official business that Professor Dumbledore gave me, so of course I couldn't bring you along. Besides, there's Umaru at home who needs your help taking care of her."

"So, what are your plans for Umaru-chan when school starts this year?"

"I'll be taking her to Hogwarts this year; it's really lonely for a little girl like her to stay home alone."

Lynn finished her milk and looked down to calculate Umaru's age.

"Xiao Mai is ten years old this year. She should receive her Hogwarts acceptance letter next summer, and then she will be able to study at Hogwarts."

After finishing breakfast, leaving Kira at home to watch the house, Lynn took Umaru and Hermione and got into the Granger family's car.

"After learning that only descendants of wizards can become wizards, I went back to my hometown to check our family genealogy, and I actually found that one of my ancestors had shown extraordinary qualities in the records!"

Mr. Granger's attitude towards Lynn has improved slightly compared to before; at least he is not as hostile as he was a year ago.

"That's normal. Wizards' descendants are most likely to be wizards themselves. Only a small percentage will become Squibs. Squibs are ostracized from the wizarding world and live normal lives. Their descendants may also have a small chance of becoming wizards with magical talent. So, in general, as long as wizards frequently intermarry with Muggles, there will be more and more wizards in the world."

As Mr. Granger and Lynn chatted for a while in the car, they discovered that Lynn was indeed quite different from other children his age.

"So, do you encounter discrimination against young wizards like you at Hogwarts?"

Hermione's father was unaware that Lynn was actually a pureblood, assuming that he, like Hermione, came from a Muggle family.

"Of course it will. The belief in bloodline has never lacked fertile ground in this country, whether in normal society or the magical world."

Mr. Granger asked with some concern, "Have you been bullied at school?"

"Don't worry about Dad," Hermione chimed in. "At school, Lynn is the one who bullies others; nobody can bully him."

"I'm worried about you!"

"Me?" Hermione looked at him in confusion. "With Lynn around, there's no way I'd be bullied."

Mr. Granger: "..."

That's what I'm afraid of.

They parked the car on a street not far from the Leaky Cauldron, and then Lynn and Hermione led the Grangers into the Leaky Cauldron, which was under a Muggle exorcism spell. Umaru had stayed up too late watching TV last night and was now sleeping in Lynn's pocket as a hamster.

The ambiance of the bar and the unfriendly stares of the other patrons made the Grangers feel distinctly uncomfortable.

They didn't linger in the bar, and soon walked through the back wall into Diagon Alley.

Most people would be shocked by Diagon Alley on their first visit, especially the Grangers, who have received a modern education for decades and have no knowledge of magic.

"I'll wait here for Harry and the others. Lynn, could you take my parents to Gringotts to exchange money?" Hermione assigned them their itinerary.

Lynn had no objections. He brought Hermione's parents to Gringotts, where they were greeted by goblins.

This year, the exchange limit for pounds to galleons has been significantly relaxed compared to previous years, with a maximum exchange of fifty galleons at a time. At Lynn's suggestion, Mr. Granger exchanged the maximum allowed amount and received a small bag of galleons.

Before they even left Gringotts, a bunch of red-haired children and their two parents suddenly appeared in front of the door.

It was the Weasleys; Harry and Hermione were also in the Weasleys' group.

The Grangers and the Weasleys greeted them warmly, with Ron's father, Arthur Weasley, showing unusual interest in them. It must be said that Mr. Weasley was indeed an anomaly among pure-bloods, his love for everything Muggle-related was practically ingrained in him.

Harry also saw Lynn. After Lynn took him away from the Dursleys during the summer vacation, he felt a natural affinity for Lynn.

"You have no idea what a terrible thing that just happened to me, Lynn." He started complaining to Lynn as soon as they met. "When I used Floo Powder at the Weasleys' house, I was accidentally teleported to a street called Knockturn Alley. There are strange wizards everywhere there. I even saw Malfoy and his father making a weird deal."

"You've got a misunderstanding about that place, Harry." Ron seemed to have been expressing his longing for Knockturn Alley the whole way. "There are so many interesting things there. George and Fried tell me every day how amazing it is, but I've never been. I wish I was the one who mispronounced the name."

"That's no good place at all! I just heard Mrs. Weasley say that Knockturn Alley is full of unidentified wizards, and more than half of them are dark wizards. It's very, very dangerous," Hermione retorted.

Listening to the three little ones arguing, Lynn still found it very interesting, which was probably why he was willing to be a teacher in his previous life.

"Alright, we should go shopping now. Have you decided what you want to buy first?" Lynn asked.

After withdrawing the money from the vault, everyone went their separate ways. Percy muttered about wanting to buy a new quill pen, while Fred and George saw their Hogwarts friend, Lee Jordan. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny were heading to a shop that sold secondhand robes. Mr. Weasley insisted on taking the Grangers to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink.

Mrs. Weasley arranged to meet them at Flourish and Blotts an hour later, but Harry and the others hadn't decided where to go yet.

Lynn treated each of them to a strawberry ice cream, and then they wandered around Diagon Alley aimlessly.

As they passed a shop selling parchment and ink, Hermione pulled Lynn inside, while Harry and Ron peered out of the window of a Quidditch-related shop to admire the full Chadli Cannons uniforms.

After half a summer of Ron's persistent edification, Harry now has a general understanding of the major Quidditch teams in the wizarding world, and like Ron, his favorite is the Chadrick Cannons.

Hermione bought a large stack of parchment, which she used daily not only to write the various assignments given by her professors, but also to take all sorts of notes, so her needs were quite high.

"Harry and Ron just don't understand the joy of learning. Magic is so interesting, and knowledge is so fascinating, but they can't be attracted to it at all. Last semester, they were even too lazy to copy my notes. Thanks to them, I learned the advanced spell 'Duplicate' in my first year."

Hermione complained to Lynn as she picked out a new quill for herself.

While listening, Lynn helped the newly awakened Mai tidy up her messy hair.

"While it's true that you should treat them like children, you can't indulge them too much. If they can copy the class notes themselves, let them copy them themselves. If you give them duplicates, they usually won't even bother to look at them in the end."

"Of course I know that. Giving them copies in pairs is just so that I can review while they copy. I've controlled the release of the spells. If they don't finish copying within three days, the copied notes will disappear."

They were chatting, while Xiaomai stood obediently in place, waiting for Lynn to tie her hair up. She opened her still slightly sleepy eyes and observed her surroundings.

"I remember this place. When I first met Lynn, Kira took me to secretly look at you through the window of this shop."

Lynn patted her head, indicating that her hair had been tidied up.

"So how were you so sure I would buy from you?"

"Buy me?" Xiaomai tilted her head and looked at Lynn in confusion. If an outsider heard her tone, they would definitely think that Lynn was a human trafficker.

"Kira didn't let me get close to you at first. I accidentally crawled into the cage at that pet store, and then you bought me."

After hearing Xiaomai's explanation, Lynn was speechless for a moment.

He was heartbroken over the Galleon he had spent. People are strange like that. Even though Lynn has lost interest in money now, he still harbors resentment about how he misjudged prices when he first entered the magical world and bought Umaru for a Galleon.

"Later, I felt I had made a big mistake and wanted to sneak away, but Kira wouldn't let me run away. He said it was better for me to stay by his side, so I ate wheat kernels and biscuits for almost a year."

Thinking of her unbearable past, Umaru felt a sudden dryness in her mouth. She then snatched the ice cream from Lynn's hand and prepared to eat it herself.

Before she could even take a bite, Hermione suddenly snatched Lynn's ice cream from Burrow's hand and then expressionlessly gave her her own.

"You eat this."

Umaru looked at what she was holding, then at what Hermione was holding, hesitated for a moment, and then showed a sweet, ingratiating smile.

"Can I have both, Hermione?"

"No, eating too much ice cream will give you diarrhea."

As she spoke, she stuffed Lynn's ice cream into her mouth in one bite.

Lynn squinted at the two girls; one was a true foodie, and the other had ill intentions.
