My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 165, Section 162: I'm an Undercover Agent

"I once filed a formal complaint against his brother for murdering a Chur shaman. Later, his brother committed suicide out of guilt, and he blamed me for it. So we have a deep grudge. He has always wanted to kill me with his own hands, and this was an opportunity for him."

Lynn thought carefully about Yelena's words.

If he agrees to her plan, it means they'll be completely tied together, and Dumbledore's plan to go to the Soviet Magic Council officials to learn about reforms will be completely ruined. However, Lynn doesn't care about that; Yelena is also a Soviet official, so it doesn't matter who she follows. Dumbledore won't make things difficult for him because of this in the end.

If he refuses, given that he just openly attacked a Soviet Auror, the letter of introduction will definitely be useless. If he still wants to capture Ivanov, he will have to act alone. He is unfamiliar with the Soviet Union and doesn't even know which way the Magic Council's doors open, let alone hunt down a high-ranking Auror.

After weighing the pros and cons, Lynn decided to accept Yelena's proposal.

"Cooperation is possible, and everyone can get what they need, but before we cooperate, you have to pay back what you owe me first."

Yelena looked at Lynn with a puzzled expression: "What do I owe you?"

Women change their minds faster than turning the pages of a book; I just saved her life, and she's already forgotten about it.

"Do you think I saved your life for nothing? Even if I feed a stray cat a small dried fish, it will still let me pet it a couple of times. You have to pay me back what you owe me before we can talk about cooperation."

Yelena understood what Lynn meant; she should indeed repay the life-saving grace, but Lynn's attitude and analogy made her furious.

"Are you British? Where is your gentlemanly manners?"

Sorry, I'm an undercover agent.

Lynn shrugged.

"Gentlemanly manners? What good is that? Does it bring me any benefit? I took such a big risk to get you out of here, not to stupidly show off my gentlemanly manners."

"What do you want?" Yelena asked with a grim expression. She considered herself quite attractive and had once been one of the most beautiful women on the committee, but unfortunately, she had run into a freak like Lynn.

Lynn looked her up and down.

"Tell me what you have first?"

Yelena gritted her teeth and said, "I also have some savings hidden somewhere, about five thousand Galleons."

Upon hearing that it was about money, Lynn immediately shook his head.

"I've never touched money, and I'm not interested in it."

"What more could you want if it's free!"

Lynn stared silently at Yelena's chest for a long time before she suddenly realized what was happening and protectively clutched her chest.

"Tsk tsk tsk." Lynn shook his head and sighed twice. "They say big breasts mean no brains, and they're absolutely right. You're a wizard, and I'm a wizard too. What's the most precious thing for a wizard?"

Yelena learned her lesson and decided not to respond to Lynn's words again. However, if he were to say that Naiko was the most precious thing a wizard possessed, she would smash Lynn's head in if she couldn't escape.

"It's knowledge." Lynn pointed to his head and said disdainfully to Yelena, "Only the lowest-ranking wizards are always thinking about money and breasts."

Yelena was immediately startled.

"You're spying on my thoughts!"

"Why would I go to a garbage dump if I have nothing better to do?" Lynn looked bewildered. "Besides, I don't know how to use mind control. Your thoughts are written all over your face. Why would I need such a sophisticated thing?"

Yelena clenched her fists.

She discovered something very sad: they hadn't known each other for very long, but she had already started to get used to Lynn's sharp tongue. Even though he said those things, she didn't feel that angry at all.

"You want magical knowledge?"

Lynn snapped her fingers: "So do you have one? Don't try to fool me with those generic stuff, I need something usable and practical."

Yelena paused for a moment, then spoke.

"I know there's an abandoned magic library in Mexico with lots of magic books, but I don't know if they have what you're looking for."

"I didn't expect you to come up with anything good. This will do. Take me to that library. Whether I find what I want or not, I will help you leave Mexico. In return, you will be a good bait."

Yelena looked at Lynn with suspicion: "Why are you not nervous at all, and seem quite relaxed, when you're about to kill their Auror Director right under the noses of the Soviet Magic Council?"

Lynn was not nervous at all. Putting aside the fact that he could be caught because he could use both the Transfiguration and Animaguration techniques, even if he was really in a desperate situation, he still had Fawkes' feather and could use the ultimate move - Dumbledore's Summoning.

With enough backing, Lynn wisely decided to take as much as he could. Even if he couldn't kill Ivanov in the end, he could just go back to Hogwarts and complain to Dumbledore. With Hogwarts protecting him, he didn't believe that the Aurors of the Kingdom of Su could control his British wizards.

It was a bit embarrassing, but Lynn wanted to resolve it himself as much as possible. Going back to Hogwarts to complain was only a last resort.

Of course, I definitely couldn't tell Yelena the truth.

"Because I'm strong enough. How about that? Doesn't that make you more confident that you can survive?"

Yelena naturally didn't think Lynn was telling the truth, but the two had only met for less than half a day, and their mutual trust was limited. It was normal for him not to tell her what his trump cards were.

"Shall we set off now?"

"etc"

Lynn lay on the floor of the guest room, as if looking for something. He searched for a long time in front of the heart-shaped bed and finally found a strand of hair.

"I knew it. With the hotel owner's slovenly appearance, even the best room wouldn't be clean."

Lynn muttered to herself as she held the long hair in her hand.

Yelena saw through his intention: "You want to use Polyjuice Potion? The ingredients for that potion are hard to find, especially since I'm currently wanted by the authorities. This idea isn't very realistic."

Lynn held his hair in one hand while pulling a bottle of potion from the pocket of his robe, as if he were reaching for Doraemon's dimensional pocket.

"No need to prepare it yourself, I have it ready-made."

His pockets were encased in an Unmarkable Expansion Charm cast by Dumbledore himself, making them extremely spacious. Lynn stuffed a lot of things into them, including this bottle of Polyjuice Potion, which was one of the many potions Sister Rosier had sent him.

Yelena looked at him with a strange expression.

"Are you really here in the Soviet Union for tourism? Why are you carrying around compound herbal remedies?"

"I call this being cautious, you know?" Lynn put the hair into the compound decoction and handed it to Yelena.

"Come on, drink this. Whether you transform into a male or female is up to fate. If you end up with something neither male nor female, then you've hit the jackpot."
