My Hogwarts has a serious problem.
107. Shameless, arrogant tsundere
"What, what is that?"
Harry suppressed his nausea and pointed at the disgusting pile of minced meat with his finger.
"Oh, it's nothing, just a giant monster," Lynn said casually.
He took Hermione's arm and led her outside.
"You can open your eyes now."
Hermione had just lowered her hand when she saw Harry and Lynn.
The three little ones stared at each other, wide-eyed.
"What are you doing here?" Hermione asked.
Ron glanced at Lynn and then explained.
"Professor Quirrell said there was a giant in the castle, and Professor Dumbledore told everyone to go back to their dormitories. We found you were missing and were worried that something might have happened to you, so Harry and I came to look for you."
The little girl looked at Lynn in surprise; she remembered what he had said earlier.
Lynn shrugged, not interrupting their conversation, but simply gestured to Hermione, indicating that she should handle it herself.
Just as Hermione was about to speak, a loud footstep sounded. Professor McGonagall, Snape, and Quirrell, who were searching for trolls in the castle, noticed the commotion.
Seeing so many people gathered here, Professor McGonagall's lips turned ashen with anger.
Harry and Ron panicked; they both had a premonition that Professor McGonagall would not let them off easily this time.
The professors followed the smell and immediately spotted the disgusting pile of minced meat on the ground.
Whether Quirrell was genuinely frightened or just pretending, he clutched his chest and sat slumped weakly on the toilet, sobbing softly.
"What kind of tricks are you playing?" Professor McGonagall said, her voice filled with cold anger.
Snape also looked at Harry and his two companions with a gloomy gaze, automatically ignoring Lynn who was standing to the side.
"Professor," Lynn said, taking the initiative to speak.
"It has nothing to do with them. I killed the troll. You can take a look, or perhaps use the spell you invented."
He spoke those last few words to Snape, with a hint of eagerness in his voice.
Snape certainly knew about his ability to use the Unseen Blade; this curse was something Professor Fawkes had specifically negotiated with Snape for him.
Snape first walked over with a dark expression and looked at the troll's corpse.
He never expected Lynn to confess that he was the one who did it. He thought Lynn would cleverly shift the blame onto Harry and the others, but this was nothing like what a Slytherin would do.
But after he carefully examined the troll's shredded remains, his expression softened considerably.
Snape snorted coldly.
"Who gave you the audacity to use such a high-level spell as Divine Edge Without Shadow in actual combat during your second year? Luckily, you were fortunate enough to unleash the spell's full power, otherwise, you might be the one lying on the ground as a pile of minced meat."
After spending a lot of time together, Lynn was able to automatically translate Snape's voice before it even entered his brain.
Translated: I saved that bastard Potter's son with the magic I invented—what a brilliant slap in the face! Keep it up! Keep it up!
Lynn smiled and thanked Professor Snape.
"Thank you, Professor."
Snape tilted his head back and nodded slightly.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione, who were standing nearby, were completely bewildered and couldn't understand their conversation at all.
However, just as Snape and Lynn finished their "friendly" conversation, Professor McGonagall spoke up with a grim face.
"Now I know how formidable you are, Belloc, but my question is, Professor Dumbledore clearly ordered you to stay in the common room, so why are you still here!"
Lynn was about to make up an excuse to get rid of the matter when he suddenly got stuck.
Because he couldn't avoid Hermione and explain why he was in the women's restroom.
Unless he admits he's a pervert.
"It's all because of my professor. They didn't stay in their dorms properly; they all came to find me."
Hermione suddenly said.
Harry and Lynn, who were already prepared to be punished, looked at him in surprise, even Lynn was a little taken aback.
Hermione tried hard to make her lie seem more believable.
"You know, I read a lot about trolls in books, and then I thought I could handle it on my own."
Harry and Ron exchanged a glance; they simply couldn't believe Hermione would lie on her own initiative.
"If Lynn hadn't found me, I might be dead by now."
Hermione gripped the corner of Lynn's robe tightly.
"And Harry and Ron, they were worried that something might have happened to me, which is why they risked their lives to come here to find me."
Professor McGonagall looked at Hermione and pondered.
"Miss Granger, how could you possibly think that a first-year wizard like yourself could take on a troll single-handedly?"
Hermione lowered her head, as if too ashamed to speak.
Professor McGonagall was very disappointed in her.
"Miss Granger, Gryffindor will lose five points because of this," said Professor McGonagall. "If you are not hurt at all, you'd better hurry back to Gryffindor Castle; the students are all enjoying Halloween dinner in their own houses."
Hermione jogged away.
Professor McGonagall then turned her gaze to Harry and Ron.
"It's good that you two care about your classmate, but next time something like this happens, you must inform the professor first. You should go back now."
Harry and Ron, feeling like they'd been granted a pardon, also hurriedly left the scene.
Now only Lynn remains here.
Lynn looked at Professor McGonagall with an innocent expression, then turned to look at his own headmaster.
Before Professor McGonagall could speak, Snape spoke first.
"Although your ignorance almost put yourself and your classmates in danger, given the good outcome, Slytherin gets 30 points."
Translation: Good, very good, enough for you, Slytherin 30!
Lynn thought to himself, Snape really is the kind of shameless tsundere who has absolutely no shame.
Professor McGonagall frowned.
"Severus, 30 points is too much. Belloc defeated the troll and saved his classmate, but such disobedient behavior is not commendable. 10 points is enough."
Lynn whispered softly from the side.
"Professor, when I came to find Hermione, Professor Dumbledore hadn't yet told everyone to go back to the common room. I didn't know about this."
Professor McGonagall's face froze instantly.
Snape coughed lightly, understanding the importance of knowing when to stop.
"Then let's add 20 points."
Both professors ultimately accepted this compromise.
That was the end of it.
For some unknown reason, Dumbledore did not appear.
On her way back to the lounge, Lynn stretched her arms.
The biggest takeaway from this experience was that he realized just how good his physical abilities had become.
Overall, it might be slightly inferior to the trolls, but it's definitely not much different.
