The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 744 Gathering

Pee-Pee looked at Moriarty.

"Good question," said Mischief. "I don't know where I came from. I was myself the moment I opened my eyes."

Moriarty was relieved. If Peeves had told the whole story, that would have been suspicious. Peeves must have been brought back by the Big Four.

"Now, can we go back?" Pee-Pee asked Moriarty. "With you here, those two ghosts won't do anything to me, right?"

Moriarty and Peeves looked at Lady Grey and Barrow the Blood Man.

The female ghost's fierce gaze showed that she was still angry with Pipi Ghost, while the Blood Man Barrow remained silent as always.

Dealing with Ms. Grey meant dealing with the Blood Man Barrow; it's been that way for millennia.

So Moriarty said, "Ms. Grey, I think you've chosen the wrong target for your revenge. Every wrong has its perpetrator, and all of this should be blamed on Baldy!"

"If I'm not mistaken, you might even know Hikaru!"

Moriarty's words startled the two ghosts present, who opened their eyes wide in terror. Peeves flew around excitedly.

"Is it true?" said Mischievous Ghost, his tone sounding exactly like someone playing a prank.

"Are you sure what you're saying is true?" Ms. Gray said seriously, "I swear on your last name!"

"Whether it's genuine or not isn't up to me," Moriarty said impatiently, shaking his head. "If you trust me, then come with me to uncover the true nature of the light!"

Moriarty has lingered here too long; he must leave.

Peeves followed Moriarty silently, like a king's knight.

Ms. Grey thought for a moment, then looked up and flew away with the group, never saying a word to Blood Man Barrow, while Lord Barrow followed closely behind.

The strange combination of Moriarty, Peeves, and two ghosts returned to Hogwarts Castle, arousing the curiosity and attention of the young wizards.

Dumbledore had already prepared for battle, and he said to Moriarty:

"All the teachers and students wanted to fight, and their families also wanted to stay. I persuaded some of the families to go to China for refuge."

"Of course," Moriarty immediately took out his phone and called Zhang Tianxue. "I've already prepared a boat."

"No need to hit me, husband, I'm already here!"

Zhang Tianxue's gentle voice came from the road leading to Hogsmeade Village.

Moriarty turned around and saw Zhang Tianxue, Narcissa, the goblin Ingo, and Luke, the house-elf of Slytherin Castle.

After shrinking, the basilisk Shiva wrapped itself around Zhang Tianxue's slender waist and nodded at Moriarty.

"My dear~" Narcissa's eyes welled up with tears as she reached out and hugged Moriarty's neck. "We'll wait for your safe return."

She was to temporarily bid farewell to Moriarty and travel to London with some of her family members on the Hogwarts Express, where they would be met by people from Kunlun and then taken by ship to China.

This is Zhang Tianxue's resettlement plan.

Time was of the essence, and one by one, the parents reluctantly bid farewell to their young wizards and lined up to head to Hogsmeade Village.

The problem of finding the way is easily solved—the wizard who graduated from Hogwarts is walking along a path toward Hogwarts Castle.

Among them were men and women, wizards and Squibs, old men and old witches, and young men who had recently graduated.

The two groups of people tacitly avoided disturbing each other, one group coming in and the other coming out, with occasional sobs and heavy breathing exhaling a cloud of white mist.

Bathed in the autumn sunlight, it resembles a fairyland, dreamlike and enchanting.

"I'm going to escort the family to London." Zhang Tianxue kissed Moriarty goodbye, even though she wouldn't be back for long.

"Let Minerva go with you," Dumbledore said. "Lockhart has issued a notice to close all shops in Hogsmeade. You will return via the secret passage."

"No problem, but before I leave, there's one thing I need to do." Professor McGonagall suddenly walked over, wand in hand.

Moriarty and the others looked at Professor McGonagall with curiosity. What was this respected Gryffindor headmaster planning to do?

Professor McGonagall walked out of the castle gates, then turned around and raised her wand, pointing it at Hogwarts Castle.

"Stone blocks deployed!"

One stone pillar, gripping a spear, leaped down, followed by a second, a third...

The stone pillars were summoned, took up arms, and fulfilled their duty to protect Hogwarts Castle.

Professor McGonagall exclaimed excitedly, "I've wanted to try this spell for a long time!"

Moriarty chuckled. "Professor McGonagall, didn't you use it during the Battle of Hogwarts last year?"

"Don't say it," Professor McGonagall made a shushing gesture and laughed, "This is the final battle, so the sense of ceremony is even stronger."

"Yes... the final battle, I hope it's all over," Dumbledore murmured.

He's really old, and he's decided to retire—if the final battle is won, if he's still alive.

Shall we go to Poland with Gale then?

Thinking of this, Dumbledore felt a pang of emotion and looked towards the Forbidden Forest.

A huge carriage flew in from the sky, getting closer and closer.

"It's Beauxbatons' carriage!" someone shouted.

"And there's senior Marcus too!"

Moriarty looked up at the sky and saw Marcus descending on the back of a winged harpy, along with the carriage.

Hagrid strode into the Forbidden Forest to meet his comrades who had come from afar.

A short while later, a large group of people emerged from the forbidden forest.

The leading wizard had white hair and wore a long leather trench coat. To his left was Marcus, to his right was Krum, and behind him were more than thirty tall Durmstrang wizards.

"Is that Principal Grindelwald?"

A commotion broke out in the crowd.

Dumbledore happily went to greet him.

Grindelwald explained, "We met French Auror at London Airport, Madame Maxime—now a minister—who lent me her flying carriage, and this little girl—."

A silver-haired little girl emerged from the crowd and ran towards Moriarty: "Brother-in-law~"

"Gabrielle," Moriarty picked up Gabrielle Delacour, the little girl who had begun to develop. She whispered in Moriarty's ear, "Your sister went to the Ministry of Magic to help Lilith. She asked me to find your brother-in-law."

"Okay," Moriarty put his sister-in-law down, "go find Penelope and Hermione, and stay with them."

Fleur is a proud French rose, and Moriarty knows she won't give up the chance to fight. Moriarty is also more at ease knowing that Fleur is with Lilith, Ischl, and the others.

The female students who remained at Hogwarts stayed with Penelope, and Gemma also returned.

"Sir," Marcus approached Moriarty, "Principal Dawn has sent word that Iphamony and the Auror of the Beautiful Country have gone to the Vatican."

"No problem," Moriarty nodded. "You guard the Forbidden Forest, and Luna and Scamander will assist you."

Luna emerged from Hogwarts with the same innocence and childlike wonder on her face, but Marcus was not going to underestimate her.

"I will protect the lady, sir!" Marcus solemnly assured him.

As Luna passed Moriarty, she kissed him on the cheek. Marcus quickly opened his suitcase, and magical creatures emerged from it.

Scamander and his grandson walked over to Dumbledore's side.

"I'm so glad you could come, Newt." Dumbledore shook hands with Newt happily. Newt saw Grindelwald's expression and chuckled, "I won't bother you any longer. With us in the Forbidden Forest, it's as solid as a rock."

"Woo~"

The steam whistle sounded.

The train departed.

The people of Hogwarts watched their loved ones depart.
