Chapter 693 The Black Agate!

Moriarty harbored suspicions about Captain Jack, but outwardly remained calm and engaged in normal conversation.

"Captain, have you and your Black Onyx been separated? Why did you end up in Bermuda?"

Upon hearing this, Lilith and the others looked at Jack with great interest.

Frankly, it's really inappropriate for a Muggle soldier to get involved in such a mysterious place as Bermuda.

Jack noticed the looks on everyone's faces and gave an embarrassed smile.

Draco shrugged, uninterested.

"Dragon?" Jack chuckled. "I think sea monsters are more terrifying than dragons."

"This sea monster is the Kraken of Norway. It is said that no one has ever seen its true face, but whenever it appears, it will bring about a cataclysmic disaster."

"The Kraken?" Hermione noticed something amiss and asked curiously, "Why would the Kraken be in Bermuda?"

"I don't know about that, but the Kraken was discovered by a wizard while crossing the Atlantic to Bermuda, yes, the Kraken you just mentioned..."

Jack finished speaking and looked at Draco, who added, "Hogwarts."

"Yes, Hogwarts. It was discovered by the wizards of Hogwarts, and then the Royal Navy sent our HMS Black Agate to carry out this mission."

"I am a Marine Corps captain with 40 musketeers under my command. I was assigned by the captain to come here to scout for signs of sea monster activity. You all know what happened after that."

Jack spoke calmly and methodically.

He knew that if he didn't explain things clearly, it would be difficult to gain the trust of the people in front of him.

After hearing Jack's words, Moriarty and the others had different expressions.

Lilith smiled and said with amusement, "The wizards at Hogwarts discovered the Kraken, and the Royal Navy immediately dispatched a warship. What wizard has such influence? I really want to meet this wizard."

"Maybe he's one of our ancestors," Soldaya said.

"But that's not right, it doesn't match history!" Hermione frowned slightly. "1707 was clearly the year wizards and Muggles were officially separated."

"That is indeed a point of contention," Moriarty mused. "Let's go see that wizard; I think we'll understand many things."

Moriarty immediately turned to Jack and said, "Mr. Jack, could you take us to your Black Onyx ship? Perhaps we can help the Royal Navy hunt down the Kraken."

Jack waved his hand and said with a smile, "Even if you can't help, I'd still like to invite you to the Black Onyx, because you saved me."

"But the boat is gone," Jack said, spreading his hands in a helpless expression. "We'll have to cut down coconut trees and build a raft. Do you have any tools? An axe, a hammer, or even a knife!"

Draco said nonchalantly, "There's no need to cut down trees. Don't forget we're wizards."

Draco chanted a spell over a grove of trees, and the trees fell and were cut into rafts.

"Damn it!" Jack gave Draco a thumbs-up, his eyes gleaming. "The magic is incredible!"

Draco smiled; he had practiced this "Divine Edge Without a Trace" technique for a long time and was finally able to show off a little.

Just as Draco was feeling quite accomplished, Soldaya flicked him on the forehead.

"So you're really planning to build a raft!"

"Since you've used the Divine Edge Shadowless Spell, why not use Transformation to turn the stone or something else into a small boat!"

Soldaya threw a pebble towards the sea, tapped it lightly with his wand, and the pebble turned into a small wooden boat that floated on the sea.

"Ah, this..." Draco chuckled awkwardly, "I didn't think of that..."

Then he suddenly realized something!

"I've been drawn into Jack's rhythm!"

Draco's gaze towards Jack immediately changed.

Moriarty nodded slightly. Draco was intelligent, but inexperienced.

"We have the boat, let's set sail!"

Jericho snapped his fingers, took a running start, jumped onto the small boat, and the boat rocked, but it didn't capsize.

"Great technique!" Jack's eyes lit up. "This gentleman must be an excellent swimmer."

"Hehe, my dad, my brother, and I learned it in Hawaii," Jericho said, gesturing to indicate the size of the ship. "Soldaya, why aren't you building a bigger ship? Looks like we'll have to stand here."

"I don't want to waste too much magic on a ship," Sordaya glanced at Draco. "Seriously, nobody would use the Divine Shield Spell just to cut down a tree, would they?"

Draco turned his head away, not wanting to pay attention to Soldaya.

"Let's get on the ship."

Moriarty gestured to the others and then boarded the ship first.

One by one, everyone boarded the ship and stood in a line.

"Captain, please come to the front. I need you to confirm the direction." Moriarty left a space for Jack in front of him.

"Okay," Jack said, stepping onto the boat. "And then? Without oars, how do you row?"

"No need," Moriarty smiled. "Just confirm the direction, and then leave everything to the wind."

"Okay," Jack pointed east, "the Black Onyx is anchored over there."

"Hold on tight."

Moriarty snapped his fingers, and the wind propelled the stern of the boat, propelling it forward like a sports car!

"Ugh ugh ugh ugh—"

Jack was completely distraught; his hair was tied back, and the flesh on his face trembled like jelly.

Moriarty waved his hand in front of Jack, the wind disappeared, Jack returned to normal, and turned his head to see Moriarty smiling at him.

"Can you feel the magic?"

Jack breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, you're better than that wizard on the Black Onyx!"

"I must say, you're very perceptive," Moriarty said earnestly.

"That's how soldiers are."

As they talked, the outline of a warship appeared on the sea.

The ship has three decks, dozens of rooms, 74 smoothbore cannons, four masts, and four white sails that flutter in the wind, with the British flag flying atop them.

Jericho exclaimed, "This is the first time I've ever seen a real, active battleship of the British Empire. It's truly magnificent."

"The Black Onyx!"

Jack shouted excitedly, tears welling up in his eyes.

"God help me, the moment I was caught in the storm, I thought I would never see the Black Onyx again!"

He made the sign of the cross on his chest, then raised his arms and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Hey guys! I'm here!!!"

A response came quickly from the ship.

"It's the captain!!!"

"Quickly, send out lifeboats to bring them aboard."

During this time, Moriarty and the others watched silently. Lilith whispered in Moriarty's ear, "Jack doesn't seem to be faking it; there's no trace of acting."

"Yes, there's no faking it," Moriarty nodded slightly. "Let's take another look once we're on board."

"I'm quite curious about that wizard." Lilith blinked her beautiful eyes, trying to guess the wizard's identity.

"Don't tell me it's your grandfather," Moriarty teased her.

"No way!" Lilith shook her head. "My grandfather never went to sea; everyone in the family knows that."

"I'm family, okay? Slytherin family." Lilith pinched Moriarty's soft waist, seemingly wanting to twist it.

"Vanity."

"I'm twisting!"

As the two were talking, the sailors on the ship brought the lifeboat over.

"Come on, I'll show you around the Black Onyx," Jack said proudly.

The group boarded the ship.

The captain, first mate, doctor, and other important figures on board came to greet them, while a group of soldiers and sailors formed a circle around them.

Moriarty saw a man dressed in a wizard's robe through the crowd.

Despite his efforts to hide, Moriarty still managed to find him.

"That wizard looks so familiar!" Moriarty found the situation amusing.

"I'm sure I've seen him somewhere before!"
