The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 613 Hogwarts Tower of Magic

In front of the principal's office, Professor McGonagall kept reciting commands.

"Toffee finger biscuits?"

"Sizzling honey candy?"

"Iced lemonade?"

Since Dumbledore left Hogwarts, the door to the headmaster's office has been as closed as ever, never to be opened again.

But Dumbledore had already returned, and Professor McGonagall thought that the door to the Headmaster's office should be open again, and that the Gryffindor sword was kept inside, which she had to get her hands on.

Unfortunately, to Professor McGonagall's disappointment, the door remained closed despite her reciting the commands.

"The new password is: Fennel Oatmeal."

A voice came from behind Professor McGonagall.

"Miss Pillivik?"

Professor McGonagall turned around and was surprised to see Lilith striding towards her, her captivating face filled with determination and confidence.

Lilith walked toward the principal's office with great spirit.

"Just as we were returning to school, Professor Dumbledore told me the new password."

"I've come to take the Gryffindor sword."

Lilith looked into Professor McGonagall's eyes, her tone firm, and even though she was facing the Head of Gryffindor, she was full of confidence in taking the sword.

Because Lilith has a reason that no one can refuse.

Professor McGonagall looked at the drastically changed Lilith, feeling both gratified and moved.

She still remembered that when Lilith first entered Hogwarts, she drew the Gryffindor sword during the Sorting Ceremony, which was the first time in the school's history.

Professor McGonagall thought Lilith would be sorted into Gryffindor, but she was sorted into Slytherin.

Later, Lilith took a manuscript on human transfiguration and consulted Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall was once again terrified by Lilith. She was both worried and excited, wondering what Lilith's future would hold.

At this moment, Lilith has proven to her that her initial choice was correct and that she had not misjudged the situation.

"If it were you, you would definitely be able to protect the Gryffindor sword."

Professor McGonagall smiled and nodded, stepping aside. Lilith stepped forward solemnly and announced loudly, "Fennel cereal!"

"Click~"

The door to the headmaster's office opened, and Paro, the bronze guard standing in front of the door, cheered. Lilith did not hesitate and immediately fixed her gaze on the Sorting Hat.

"Give it to me."

Lilith grabbed the hat with her left hand and reached under the brim with her right.

"hey-hey?"

The Sorting Hat, feeling rudely treated, yelled in dissatisfaction, "Can't you show me some respect? What do you want to do?"

"Oh no, you remind me of a girl from five years ago, she was just like that—so rude."

Professor McGonagall, who was slowly walking into the office, shook her head slightly after hearing this, thinking to herself, "The beautiful woman in front of you is the same girl from five years ago."

"Found it."

Lilith's right hand seemed to touch something, and her eyes lit up.

"Yes, that's exactly the feeling."

"I will slay the goblins with the sword of Gryffindor!"

"I will break the Law of Secrecy with the sword of Gryffindor!"

"This is the correct way to use the Gryffindor sword."

Lilith pulled her right hand outwards, and with a crisp "whoosh," the sword was pulled out of her hat.

The sword tip pointed upwards, gleaming silver.

"Here's your hat back, Professor McGonagall. I'm leaving."

Lilith shoved the Sorting Hat into Professor McGonagall's arms and stormed out of the office.

"Why isn't she a Gryffindor?" the Hat said to Professor McGonagall. "It's a pity she's a Slytherin."

"Who?" Phineas Nigellus Black, whose portrait features all the past headmasters, exclaimed curiously. "The student who pulled the Gryffindor sword is from Slytherin? Hahaha, can you even see it?"

"Headmaster Black, I think it's a mistake to bring up the difference between houses at this crucial moment," Professor McGonagall raised an eyebrow. "Regardless of which one they are, they are all Hogwarts students first and foremost..."

Before she could finish speaking, the ground suddenly shook!

The wizards guarding the corridors and entrances of Hogwarts also felt the violent shaking, like an earthquake.

Everyone inside Hogwarts looked surprised, sensing that this change meant them no harm!

Lilith, who rushed out of Hogwarts and flew into the sky with the Gryffindor sword in hand, felt a tremendous surge of magic above Hogwarts.

At this moment, Hogwarts was like a giant whale lurking in the deep sea, about to surface, or like a tortoise island that had been sleeping for thousands of years, suddenly awakening!

"Splash..."

A loud rushing sound arose, and Lilith looked around for the source of the sound. "No way? The Black Lake?"

Lilith stared in disbelief as the Black Lake trembled, and wave after wave surged up, revealing a colossal, dark creature rising from the surface!

"This is?"

Everyone outside Hogwarts—the besieging goblins, the wizards who came to their aid—was stunned.

Under the willow tree, Dumbledore and Grindelwald looked out over Hogwarts.

For the first time, Dumbledore, as the headmaster, felt his own incompetence.

There has long been a rumor that Hogwarts is divided into two parts.

"The castle above ground is the upper part."

"Below Black Lake is the lower half."

"The dividing line between the top and the bottom is the Slytherin dungeon."

"But what the second half is, nobody can say for sure."

"This age-old mystery is about to be revealed today."

Dumbledore's eyes were fixed intently on Hogwarts, which was slowly taking off!

The true appearance of the lower half gradually emerged from the water.

A gigantic, conical tower!

The first layer, constructed from massive silver stones like a pyramid, was about a quarter the height of Hogwarts, with the Slytherin green snake mark in the center.

There is a small round hole at the snake's head, which looks like a keyhole.

Grindelwald squinted and said to Dumbledore, "It looks to me like a magic wand."

"You mean, the key is a wand?" Dumbledore, prompted, quickly replied, "Then this isn't a tower, it's a vault?"

"Or rather, the magic tower was built to protect something."

"Splash—"

Another enormous aquatic creature appeared, and Hogwarts took off even faster; below the first level was a blue second level.

A blue raven is vividly printed on it.

Inside the crow's claw, there was also a small, round hole.

However, it is several times larger than the previous floor, about the size of a human head.

Dumbledore's eyes flickered. "That's Ravenclaw's mark!"

"Then I think I've already guessed the remaining tower levels."

"Hufflepuff Honey Badger and Gryffindor Golden Lion".

"Boom!"

A deafening roar echoed through the sky, and the last two levels were fully revealed: the third level of Hufflepuff and the fourth level of Gryffindor.

Beneath the red-painted golden lion pedestals lies solid earth, while Hogwarts Castle, supported by a four-story tower, has risen high into the sky!

The Hogwarts Tower stands like a pillar of heaven, with distinct silver, blue, yellow, and red colors. Its four symbols stand tall in mid-air, and it is always directly opposite no matter which direction you look at it from.

A strange smell filled the air, seemingly the smell of earth buried deep underground, which masked the smell of gunpowder from the battlefield and the stench emanating from the fairies.

The wizards and fairies, breathing in the earthy scent, felt no discomfort; on the contrary, their mouths and noses were filled with a sense of holiness, as if they had been baptized by magic.

"Unbelievable! Hogwarts is a tower, a magic tower!"

Dumbledore rubbed his hands together in rare excitement.

"The crown jewel of the tower is Hogwarts Castle." Even the proud Grindelwald was full of praise: "Ingenious architecture, ingenious inspiration, a thousand years of magic, the four great wizards are truly the most outstanding legendary archmages among them."

The two legends who came closest to the level of the Big Four were both immersed in the vast and magnificent spirit of magic over the millennia.

The other wizards were deeply in awe, and even their enemies hesitated at this moment.

Countless fairies' eyes were fixed on the Fairy King, eager to know what orders their king had.

However, what they saw was the Fairy King's terrified face!

The Fairy King stared intently at the sword hole in the heart of the Golden Lion on the upper level of Gryffindor Tower.

Recalling that "Light" commanded him to take the Gryffindor sword, the Fairy King became certain that the hole in the sword was a keyhole.

The Gryffindor sword is the key to unlocking the tower's levels!

The Fairy King thought about it more deeply.

The circular opening on the Ravenclaw Tower resembles a skull, and it was his only encounter with "light"...

"Yes... he was playing with a head... it was a woman's head!"

Memories and associations flooded his mind, and the Fairy King instantly felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave.

"Is all the light on in this four-story tower?"

"The Immortal Organization has really offended Hogwarts!"

(The idea that the second half of Hogwarts is the Magic Tower was Ah Hong's creation. It originated from the rumor that Hogwarts was divided into two parts. This will be relevant in the next volume.)
