The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 448 Don't Touch a Horse's Rump

Ron lay on the grass in a pitiful state, leaving the students stunned.

There was silence.

I'll say it again!

Polly's solemn voice broke the silence.

"Anyone who thinks I'm easily taken advantage of is sorely mistaken!"

Polly glanced at the students from both houses, then turned and gave Ron a disdainful look.

"Centipedes are never the playthings of wizards. Anyone who tries to harm centaurs will be severely punished."

A group of centaurs roared in agreement.

Jericho whispered, "Ron's brain was eaten by winged demons for touching a female centaur in class?"

Polly's hearing is different from humans', and she immediately cast a cold glance at Jericho, who shrank back and acted like a good student.

Polly then shifted her gaze to the two Gryffindor boys at the front.

"You two, one take him to the school hospital, and the other tell Professor McGonagall."

The boy who was called upon did so as if he had been given an order. Ron was sent away by the Levitation Charm, and everyone could clearly see the smile on his face.

After Polly announced that classes would continue, Jericho scratched his short hair and said to Moriarty, "Did Ron bump his head when he was a kid? He can still laugh."

"Perhaps it's due to the influence of a curse."

Moriarty thought for a moment and said, "Otherwise, there's no way to explain Ron's unusual behavior."

Lilith walked over, making no attempt to hide her disgust for Ron: "I remember the curse is to kill off offspring, not to turn people into monsters. He's only 11! You filthy brat!"

Then she nudged Moriarty in the waist with her elbow and glanced at him sideways: "Tell me the truth, have you ever had any inappropriate thoughts about horse rearings? You have a history of this."

Moriarty asked, puzzled, "What criminal record do I have? You mean me and the centaurs?"

Jericho looked like he'd just heard big news, wondering, "Mr. and the centaur?"

As expected of a gentleman, he really knows how to have fun!

A love affair across species?

"Smack!" Moriarty smacked Jericho on the head. "What are you thinking about, looking so lewd?"

"And you, Lilith, explain yourself clearly, what prior record?"

Lilith raised her chin: "I didn't say anything about interspecies relationships, I was referring to you and Professor Diana. Beware of female professors!"

"This..." Moriarty raised an eyebrow slightly. "Alright, unfortunately you're wrong. Professor Polly and I are comrades in arms. I'm going to ask her some questions now."

After saying this, Moriarty walked toward Polly, and soon they entered the dense forest together.

Lilith:? ? ?

In fact, Moriarty was asking Polly about the divine symbols.

The strange power Voldemort sensed from Polly was the Divine Symbol.

That's why Voldemort didn't act rashly, and now he's especially glad he didn't continue casting spells on Ron.

Otherwise, he would most likely be discovered by Polly.

"Merlin's nose? The Dark Lord doesn't want it kicked away by a centaur's hind legs!"

Recalling the image of Ron being kicked into the air, William, who was hiding, couldn't help but shudder.

Voldemort immediately realized he was too cowardly; how could the great Dark Lord be afraid?

The Dark Lord has conquered death!

What are mere horsemen compared to that?

"To allow that filthy centaur blood to enter Hogwarts and become a professor! Moriarty is unworthy of being called a Slytherin! Dumbledore is unworthy of being the headmaster of Hogwarts!"

Voldemort walked away cursing.

Ambushing Moriarty was no longer an option, because he discovered that besides himself being unable to deal with Moriarty, Moriarty was always surrounded by a lot of outrageous guys.

For example, Violet, who ate breakfast late and stayed up late, followed Moriarty around, as well as Polly and Snape.

Voldemort was now unsure whether to continue trusting Snape and decided to remain silent and observe.

However, Voldemort discovered that Snape's feelings for Harry Potter were very complicated.

As dusk fell, Voldemort, taking advantage of William's past as a Slytherin prefect, approached Snape's office to eavesdrop.

"Moriarty, figure out a way to get Poot out of here—Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw! Any of them, just not Slytherin!"

"I thought you could hold out for a few more days, Professor, but I didn't expect you to lose your temper on the very first day of school. Let me be frank, Harry staying in Slytherin is a good thing for the entire wizarding world."

Voldemort heard only these parts; he couldn't hear the rest.

"Oh, Severus, you still love that woman, don't you? Humph, foolish love!"

Voldemort remembers Snape begging him not to kill Lily Potter, and now it's her son Harry Potter's turn!

Because of this, Voldemort believed he had Snape firmly in his grasp and therefore did not doubt Snape's stance.

"Let Severus stay at Hogwarts. I still have Wormtail and William at my disposal. The most urgent matter is resurrection!"

Voldemort controlled William to walk towards the Great Hall. If he didn't show up at dinner time, it would arouse suspicion, because the older students all knew that William was a glutton.

"I must be resurrected to kill Moriarty and reclaim Slytherin!"

"Yes! And Harry Potter too, he has to die!"

As Voldemort walked, he pondered, then sat down at the professor's table to wait for dinner, where he finalized his plan to steal the Philosopher's Stone for resurrection.

"Nicolas Flamel... Penerer Flamel..."

Voldemort only saw the Flamels once, at the opening banquet. The two elderly people didn't come to the Great Hall for meals every day; house-elves would deliver their meals to their office.

"Hmph," William smirked, "The Alchemy Professor's office is very familiar territory to me—the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets!"

Thinking of the Chamber of Secrets, Voldemort became even angrier. On the day he came to Hogwarts for his job interview, he summoned the Basilisk, only to find that the Basilisk was gone, and the Chamber of Secrets had been converted into an alchemy classroom.

Another trump card lost!

Thinking about the trouble Moriarty had caused him, Voldemort decided to steal the Philosopher's Stone that very night.

William's soul caught Voldemort's thoughts and began to advise him again: "Dark Lord, I advise you not to go against Moriarty. You are no match for him. If I were you, I would immediately go and claim kinship with Moriarty. After all, he is your uncle, and you are his cousin..."

"Shut up!!!"

Voldemort roared in fury, "I am the true descendant of Slytherin, the only descendant! Moriarty is nothing but an Eastern Squib!"

The clinking of plates filled the air as the house-elves began serving the food, unaware of the internal struggle William was wrestling with.

Percy led the Weasley twins to the Slytherin table and they moved closer to Moriarty.

"Sir, I apologize for my brother's irrational behavior during the Magical Creatures Protection class."

Percy said solemnly, and the Weasley twins also looked helpless, wishing they had left Ron at Hagrid's cabin.

Now, everyone at school knows about Ron, and every young wizard is talking about him as a topic of conversation after meals.

Just walking from the school hospital, I heard no fewer than 50 students describe Ron as a "pervert, lecher, cursed ghost" and other negative adjectives.

"Ron has already paid the price for his actions. You should apologize more to Professor Polly. When a freshman does something like that to a professor, more people will talk about the Weasley family, and foreign wizards will say that there is something wrong with the teaching at Hogwarts."

Moriarty spoke earnestly to the three Weasleys.

They lowered their heads in shame.

"What's Ron's situation now? I noticed that Professor Dumbledore and the four heads of the House are not in the Great Hall."

Moriarty then inquired about Ron's injuries.

The little snakes looked towards the professors' table and, sure enough, many professors were missing. Only Professor William was eating heartily, and Professor Polly was also there.

She remained completely unaffected by what had happened that afternoon, leisurely enjoying her dinner.

Professor Polly's horse's rump is off-limits!

Students and professors alike now know.

Percy shook his head at Moriarty and said that Ron's injuries had healed. Professor Polly hadn't used magic; it was just a superficial wound plus three broken ribs.

Madam Pomfrey has already started the bone-building treatment, and Ron will be bouncing around like a baby tomorrow.

However, Ron was in a bad mood and refused to be examined by Professor Dumbledore and the four heads of the house.

Of course, the professors checked him for the curse.

"Hey! Hey!" Jericho exclaimed incredulously, "The headmaster and the four deans are treating a freshman, and Ron Weasley isn't satisfied? What does he want? The entire Mungo's Hospital?"

Most students agreed, believing that Ron was ungrateful.

When Ron was going to bed that night, his roommates Seamus and Dean made fun of him, and even Draco chatted with them for a while.

Harry Potter learned of this while he and Neville were in the library, looking at books about spells.

Even as he lay in bed, Harry couldn't believe that the boy who had sat in the same train carriage as him had done such a lewd thing.

Harry drifted off to sleep and was woken up by Neville the next day. Their first class was Charms, and Neville couldn't wait.

When they arrived at the dining hall, a large flock of owls flew over. Harry had never seen such a spectacle of flying feathers before. His owl, Hedwig, delivered the Daily Prophet.

Finally, only two owls arrived late, and strangely enough, they were carrying red envelopes in their beaks.

"Oh no!" Neville shrieked, recognizing the Longbottom family owl. "Grandma's letter!"

Meanwhile, the other owl turned in the air and flew to the Gryffindor table.
