As Moriarty had the thought of Fudge's assassination, a chill rose from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.
Ye Jingyu's revenge came too quickly. It's been two hours since the battle ended.
The answer is no, but the prime ministers of England and Japan were assassinated one after another, and the Japanese Minister of Magic was even assassinated by wizards from the Tsuchimikado family!
"Marcus, go tell Leon," Moriarty shouted to his henchman standing nearby, "that Leon lead a team to find Fudge! Now, quickly! And once they find him, protect Fudge at all costs!"
Marcus rushed off in a hurry, Moriarty no longer cared about breakfast, and he strode towards the principal's office.
Three assassinations—this unwavering resolve and ability to retaliate made Moriarty truly realize the power of the Immortal Organization.
Why is it said that the Immortal Organization is powerful, rather than Ye Jingyu?
If Ye Jingyu's men assassinated the Japanese Prime Minister and ministers, then the British Prime Minister was definitely not assassinated by Ye Jingyu's men!
Moriarty was aware that the English Prime Minister was protected by Aurors from the Ministry of Magic.
Moreover, the Ministry of Magic has always done this, and all Muggle prime ministers have been aware of the existence of wizards and magic.
The Minister of Magic is in contact with the Prime Minister, and when the Prime Minister steps down, the Ministry of Magic will send someone to erase the Prime Minister's memories of wizards.
This unique relationship has existed since the first day the Ministry of Magic was established, and it has been widely adopted and applied by the Ministries of Magic in various European countries.
Under these circumstances, it would be virtually impossible for Ye Jingyu's men to assassinate the English Prime Minister.
The only organization Moriarty could think of that could help Nightfall take revenge on the British wizards was the Immortal Organization.
Moriarty was very concerned about the old woman who was first smashed and then restored by Lillian, and then brought back to life by Yoru.
The mother-in-law was undoubtedly British, and the spells she used were uncommon, even ancient and lost magic.
It's hard not to suspect that such a witch has a lineage or an organization. Moriarty thought that the witch who assassinated the English Prime Minister might be one of his mother-in-law's men.
Of the six members of the Immortal Organization who have appeared so far, Ye Jingyu is the boss of Japan with many disciples, and the Demon Monk was a famous figure in Tsarist Russia. How could he not have a few confidants?
The Vendora vampires are representatives chosen by the twelve vampire clans, and Queen Vendora has great confidence in their Cain Brotherhood.
Looking at it this way, it seems that every member of the organization controls a force!
Who dares to say that the mother-in-law and the Eskimos didn't have subordinates?
Moreover, the Eskimos come from the Arctic, a place where there are few ordinary people, so what legitimate shaman would go there?
No one knows the true nature of the Eskimos, and no one knows what secrets they are hiding.
Needless to say, if the person who assassinated the British Prime Minister was indeed one of her people, this could be a breakthrough.
Moriarty was confident that he could easily find a powerful force in England.
Moriarty waited in the headmaster's office for an hour before Dumbledore returned.
After dealing with the Aurors and the reporters, Dumbledore looked exhausted.
"Lockhart is going to steal the show this time, and so is Mr. Jericho Blanche; they'll definitely get a Merlin Third Class medal."
Dumbledore smiled at Moriarty.
Moriarty had no intention of discussing the matter, saying, "We can talk about these things later; the Immortal Organization's retaliation came too quickly."
Then, the two exchanged some information.
They all agreed that the mother-in-law was a relatively easy member to find within the immortality organization.
In England, Dumbledore had disciples all over the country, as well as a host of old friends, and possessed countless secrets.
The pure-blood families that Moriarty connected possessed unique status and channels, and with their financial power, all sorts of news and intelligence poured in.
These two forces, working together, formed an impenetrable net that spread across the country, jointly investigating the mother-in-law and finding the assassin of the prime minister.
With the help of the Ministry of Magic, Moriarty and Dumbledore agreed that the old woman would be the breakthrough point for the Immortal Organization.
"The Immortals have retaliated, and we must also make arrangements for the Ventral family and the Elves," Dumbledore warned.
"With Diana and Lillian back in Avalon, the Immortal Organization can't do anything to them," Moriarty said rationally, unfazed. "As for the Ventura family, they haven't woken up yet. Judging from Queen Ventura's tone, she's very confident in the vampires' ability to protect themselves."
Dumbledore pondered for a moment and said, "We still can't be careless. Ye Jingyu won't be back anytime soon. What we need to be wary of is Mother-in-law."
"Hopefully we can find a clue as soon as possible," Moriarty said noncommittally. "Actually, we're not exactly at a disadvantage."
Moriarty looked at Dumbledore, a bright smile flashing in his eyes.
Dumbledore sat up, leaning forward as if eager to know.
"The 'evil monk' was a notorious figure during the Tsarist era. He had a perverse love and obsession with that land."
Moriarty brought up the infamous monk Rasputin.
"The recent clamor for the Soviet Union to split up presents a very good opportunity."
Dumbledore narrowed his eyes warily. He understood Moriarty's meaning and asked, "What are you going to do?"
"First and foremost, I must go to the Soviet Union," Moriarty said with a laugh. "It's inaccurate to describe my trip to the Soviet Union in terms of what I'm doing."
"What's accurate is that whatever the evil monk tries to do, I will prevent him from getting his way."
"My goal this time is to intercept the evil monk, or even kill him."
"The specific time will be during the summer vacation."
Moriarty looked around the office, and Fox returned, standing on top of a cabinet looking at him.
Dumbledore crossed his arms and placed them on his nose, saying solemnly, "Mr. Moriarty, I acknowledge your understanding of magic and your skill in using spells, as well as... your excellent combat skills and your ability to gain trust..."
"These are things that many people cannot do in their entire lives; they are a valuable asset."
"And you're only 14 years old."
Dumbledore smiled as he spoke.
"I don't mean to belittle your age, I'm just reminding myself that you're still a child—a student."
"Merlin is 14, I'm 14, Grindelwald is 14, Voldemort is 14..."
"Even if we all joined together, we couldn't do better than you."
Was it really necessary to travel to the turbulent Soviet Union? Just for an old wizard who should have been forgotten by history?
Dumbledore looked at Moriarty earnestly.
Moriarty knew that Dumbledore was subtly persuading him not to kill.
But Dumbledore's idea was destined to fail. How could people not die when fighting against the immortals?
Moriarty replied to Dumbledore, "I think you'll have a different opinion after hearing Polly's account of the Immortal Organization, Headmaster."
"Hopefully it's not bad news." Dumbledore frowned; he knew that whether or not to kill depended on the strength of the Immortal Organization.
"Perry should be settling into the centaur tribe by now. We can use this time to have some breakfast."
Moriarty glanced at a clock on the wall; it was 8:36 a.m., just in time for the last wave of breakfast.
"Then the Ventura family might wake up, and after we finish talking about their affairs, we'll be able to hear Polly's story. To be honest, I don't know much about Polly, but I'm very curious about her," Dumbledore said with a smile.
Let's go together.
"Oh, look what I forgot?" Dumbledore blinked. "The final was interrupted for no reason. We need to give the teachers and students an explanation. I think they must feel sorry for you. Your first championship slipped away right under your nose."
Moriarty shrugged. "There's nothing we can do about it. It's a league we organize ourselves, so we have to be fair and just."
"There's no denying that he withdrew from the competition midway. Fortunately, we can pin it all on the Japanese black wizard."
"Unfortunately, we can only attribute everything to the Japanese black wizards and cannot reveal any more information."
Moriarty's words almost set the tone for the aftermath.
Dumbledore didn't refute it, and that's the best explanation.
The two walked out of the principal's office together and went to the auditorium. The auditorium was full of students, and all the professors were present except for Lockhart and Nicolas Flamel.
"Professor, what just happened?"
"Headmaster Dumbledore, have we found our vice-headmaster?"
"Sir Principal, what should we do about the competition?"
"Professor Dumbledore...?"
After a night of fighting, Dumbledore was exhausted, and faced with a barrage of questions, he looked even older.
But he still said with a smile:
"Don't rush, ladies and gentlemen, don't be impatient. Let me answer your questions one by one, starting with..."
Moriarty slipped away from Dumbledore, and Marcus approached him, whispering, "Fudge has been found."
"Oh, protect it." Moriarty was relieved.
"What's wrong?" Moriarty asked, noticing Marcus's unusual expression.
"Uh," Marcus scoffed, "Leon found it at Umbridge's house. Apparently, Fudge was there all night..."
Moriarty stopped in his tracks. He had risked his life several times last night, risking his life for the safety of the wizarding world, and yet the Minister of Magic was sleeping soundly at his mistress's house!
"That Fudge." Moriarty sneered a few times and continued walking outside. Once Lockhart grew up, he would get rid of Fudge!
"Prepare breakfast for ten people and bring it to the eighth floor. We're starving," Moriarty ordered, heading towards the Room of Requirement.
