The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 384 The Uninvited Guests at Malfoy Manor

Chapter 384 The Uninvited Guests at Malfoy Manor

Moriarty and Jericho felt as if a hook was suddenly hooking forward from behind their navels with irresistible force!

Then the two of them lifted off the ground and flew up, soaring forward like a gust of wind, unable to see anything in front of them.

Moriarty felt a magnetic force on his fingers, holding the box firmly to them. Then—

"Bang!"

His feet landed heavily on the ground.

He swayed slightly, but Moriarty stood firmly on the ground.

Moriarty had extensive experience using door keys for long-distance travel, including international travel.

Jericho, however, was not so skilled. He was so confused by the door key that he lost his balance when he landed and fell on his backside.

"Ouch..."

Jericho rubbed his backside and slowly stood up. "Where am I?"

Moriarty ignored him and looked around in amazement.

A magnificent villa, a huge fountain, and a vast plaza garden.

Dozens of ancient, lush green trees dot the velvet lawn.

On the distant lakeshore, swans swam leisurely to and fro, while peacocks spread their tails and uttered loud calls.

The manor gate was made of pure gold, and a plaque hung on it.

It reads: "Malfoy Estate".

"The door key actually led us to Malfoy Manor!"

Moriarty didn't expect this. Yu Shenghefeng said that the key to the door would take him to see Ye Jingyu. Could it be that Ye Jingyu is at Malfoy Manor?

That shouldn't be the case. Ye Jingyu, a Japanese man who has never been to Malfoy Manor before, how did he get in?

Moriarty looked around suspiciously to make sure that this was the real manor and not a hallucination.

The result, however, made Moriarty frown deeply; it was actually true!

"Splash!"

The villa door suddenly opened, but there was no one inside.

But then a clear voice came through—the same one as before.

The voice said, "Honorable guest, please come in."

Moriarty looked into the room, which was pitch black except for a faint blue light that led underground—Lucius’s favorite exquisite floorboards seemed to have been lifted up, revealing a narrow passage.

"Walk."

Moriarty, carrying the Slytherin staff, went into the room first.

"Wait for me," Jericho rubbed his backside and followed, looking around the room as he said, "Damn it, was this place robbed? Hanyu Kafu's boss has absolutely no taste."

Just as Jericho said, all the furnishings in the room disappeared, replaced by black.

Even though it was broad daylight and the curtains weren't drawn, there wasn't a single ray of light in the room.

Everything was a serene black, exuding an eerie atmosphere, like stepping into hell.

The only pale blue light now seemed like a lifeline, guiding the way.

Moriarty and Jericho followed the blue light underground, walking for a long time until they arrived at a plaza located deep underground.

By the dim light, Jericho stared wide-eyed at the plaza. "Is the Malfoy family planning to raise a herd of centaurs, to see them running around underground?"

Moriarty looked around; it was no wonder Jericho was being sarcastic—the place was indeed enormous.

But it must have just been discovered. When Moriarty visited Malfoy Manor before, he was quite certain that there was no such square beneath the house where the Malfoy family lived.

"Whoosh—"

Suddenly, twelve lights flashed across the square, floating in the air and shining like stars in the sky.

Moriarty was then able to see the entire square clearly.

Standing on the ground was a huge circular stone slab, about the same size as the villa above.

Outside the stone slab, opposite Moriarty and Jericho, an armchair sits on the flat ground.

A man sat there, leaning comfortably against the back of the chair, watching Moriarty with great interest.

In an instant, Moriarty recognized him.

With jet-black hair and piercing eyes, aside from a slightly pale complexion and a somewhat thin figure.

The man before her was no different from the Yoruichi that Moriarty had seen in Genya's memories.

Moriarty stared at him:

"Ye Jingyu, you broke into someone else's manor, silently hollowed out their houses, and this is how you hold your blood feast?"

Malfoy was, after all, a member of a pure-blooded British family, and besides, it wouldn't be long before Mrs. Malfoy would belong to him.

Malfoy Estate was thus ruined by the night view, which angered Moriarty.

Ye Jingyu was a very tall man. Upon hearing Moriarty's words, he changed his posture, switching from crossing his legs to crossing one leg over the other.

Ye Jingyu narrowed his eyes: "How should I put it? You're smarter than I thought."

"I turned this place upside down precisely so that I could hold a blood feast."

"I'm quite curious, how do you know about the Blood Banquet?"

Moriarty said calmly, "You don't actually think that Yuzuru Kafu is a wizard who's good at hiding his true identity, do you?"

"So that's how it is," Ye Jingyu's voice sounded clear and bright, like a glass bottle being struck. He shook his head. "Yusheng was my earliest follower. He's quite good. Compared to you, he's obviously terrible."

"After all, who can compare to you and me?"

"We are wizards protected by God."

Ye Jingyu's tone suddenly became fervent.

A fervent glint flashed in his eyes.

Moriarty and Jericho frowned; the man before them resembled a brainwashed cult member.

"Um... excuse me for interrupting."

Jericho took a few steps forward, a mocking look on his face, and said, "Excuse me, Mr. Night View, what makes you think you're worthy of being compared to Moriarty?"

"Just because you barged into someone else's estate like you had a serious illness, then dumped a huge hole in their house, and then kept babbling about wanting to throw a banquet."

"I'm sorry, but I don't think this is something a wizard should do."

"Or perhaps you learned some shady skills while traveling the world? Like, grave robbing or something like that."

Ye Jingyu maintained a smile throughout Jericho's speech, and finally burst into laughter.

"That's interesting, so this is you, Jericho Branch!"

"If we were classmates, we would definitely achieve great things."

Ye Jingyu's eyes held a hint of reminiscence, as if he were lost in a fantasy, but Jericho ruthlessly exposed him: "Stop dreaming. We are not, not only are we not classmates, but if you dare to do anything that is detrimental to us, we will become your lifelong nightmare."

Glancing at Moriarty beside him, Jericho seemed to think it was inappropriate for him to deliver such a concluding speech, and added, "I mean, we'll slaughter you! Slaughter you mercilessly!"

"I'll handle the 'Gaga,' Moriarty will handle the indiscriminate slaughter!"

"Ha ha ha ha…"

Ye Jingyu threw his head back and laughed, looking at Jericho shaking his head repeatedly, "I knew it was you. Want to know what kind of person you are, Jericho?"

"Come on, don't use this old trick. Your tricks won't even fool a three-year-old."

"No, you want to!" Ye Jingyu said decisively, then turned his gaze to Moriarty: "You want to too, coincidentally, I saw your souls."

"Hmph, laughable." Moriarty scoffed, calling it utter nonsense.

"Hypersee"

Ye Jingyu suddenly said.

"You haven't forgotten, have you? You won your first World Cup there."

Ye Jingyu looked at Moriarty, his tone intriguing: "I have no doubt that you can win a few more championships if you keep playing, but I know you won't do that. Fate is truly wondrous."

Jericho glared at him: "What exactly are you trying to say?"

Moriarty remained silent, a hint of seriousness flashing in his eyes.

What impressed me most about the High Prosecutor was not my own victory, but the attack by the Japanese team in conjunction with the Saints!

"Don't rush, Jericho, I'll get to your souls soon."

Ye Jingyu recalled, "Do you remember that fallen raven?"

"The dark elemental magic emanating from it turned 100,000 wizards into mindless zombies!"

"Of course, in our minds, they are a feast for us."

Upon hearing this, a thought flashed through Moriarty's mind, and he abruptly raised his head, staring intently at Ye Jingyu.

A grand meal?

Was this the purpose of kidnapping Draco?

Ye Jingyu seemed oblivious to Moriarty's gaze and continued speaking to himself.

"At that time, many people turned into zombie-like monsters."

"Three of the wizards impressed me deeply—yes, that's right, I could see them, even though it was happening in North America, far from Japan."

"Don't be surprised, dark elemental magic is just that powerful."

Ye Jingyu smiled slightly. "Then let me recall for you. The first one to leave an impression on me, no, I should say the one who shocked me, is naturally you, Moriarty."

"At that time, in order to break the dark elemental magic brought by the Fallen Raven, you willingly allowed yourself to be corrupted by dark elemental magic."

"I experienced the feeling of my brain being occupied by evil thoughts, and my whole body was starving."

"Two sharp horns grew on your head, and the horns quickly coiled together to form a crown."

"And your head has become round and big, like a schoolbag."

"Every monster is actually the soul of every person."

There are clues to why you've become this way.
