The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 378 A Little Contract

Chapter 378 A Little Contract (Bonus chapter for the first elder, He Jiajun!)

Brian wore an innocent-looking smile.

"Mr. Moriarty, your actions and remarks just now were truly gratifying."

Brian was good at playing the game; he first flattered her, then asked her a question.

"According to you, are the magical creatures in the jungle the same for all five teams?"

The Ilfamoni contestants behaved themselves during the competition and formed good friendships with many of the young wizards.

Moriarty didn't hold back and shared some information with Brian.

"Yes, all six magical creatures in each team's jungle are the same species."

"I can tell you three of them: the longhorn water snake, the eight-eyed spider, and the lamora fish."

"A long-horned water snake?" Brian reacted quickly. "It must have been brought by the principal. It shouldn't be difficult for Thomas."

Now Moriarty knew that Thomas Hayden was in charge of jungling in Ifamoniri.

Brian frowned again. "Eight-eyed spiders? Those monsters from the Forbidden Forest..."

"And there are Lamora fish? What exactly are those?"

Brian paused for a second to mourn for Thomas, hoping his teammate wouldn't end up in such a sorry state as Nine.

Just then, Hubble of Durmstrang heard "Ramora fish" and came over.

"Lamora fish? The Lamora fish from the Indian Ocean?"

Hubble frowned and said, "I've seen this magical creature in the family records. I can't believe they actually brought the Lamora fish. The rest of the magical creatures will definitely be even more troublesome."

"Perhaps." Moriarty remained noncommittal; he was more concerned about the positioning of the four teams than the monsters.

On the surface, only a few contestants have appeared here, but in reality, it already reflects a lot of things.

Take the Durmstrang team, which is on the right side of the Hogwarts team, for example.

They focused their efforts on the flanks, with Krum in the top lane being the key player.

Meanwhile, Hubble, the team's second strongest player, has come to the mid lane, a crucial point where minions converge.

If Hibiscus appears to Hubble's right, then Beauxbatons should be to Durmstrang's right.

Then there are Kuno and Naruko, who are to the right of Fuyou, meaning that the magic is located to the right of Busbarton.

Nine is a jungler, and he's playing alone, which means that there must be two people on one of the two side lanes of the Magic Institute!

Brian, who came to inquire, came from Tonks' left, indicating that Ilfamoni was on the left side of Hogwarts, and also on the left side of the School of Magic.

After circling around once, the locations of the five teams became obvious.

Almost all the players present had thought of this, and Naruko helped Kuno limp back into the tower.

Hubble looked at Moriarty, his eyes shining with expectation: "Mr. Moriarty, how about we make a contract? Our two families have a deep friendship, and we have great respect and admiration for you."

"Although I'm the only one here, the team will be happy if we make a contract with Mr. Moriarty."

Seeing that these words were sincere, Moriarty asked, "What kind of contract do you want to draw up?"

Hubble gestured towards the magic institute: "Our two teams, let's kick the Japanese out first!"

Hubble smiled and explained, "Mr. Moriarty, your strength is evident to all. But victory is everyone's goal and pursuit; we will not hand it over to you."

"However, before we fight for final victory, I think we can still cooperate—kick the Japanese out, they're the most disgusting."

Hubble, from the Monte family, spoke eloquently and with great confidence.

Moriarty nodded seriously, and Hubble said happily, "You agree?"

"Agreed," Moriarty smiled slightly, glancing at Fleur and Brian. "Since it's targeting the Magic Institute, why don't you two join in?"

"Sure, I don't think my teammates have any reason to refuse."

Fleur revealed a bright smile, leaving Brian and Hubble speechless once again.

"Ahem," Brian pinched himself to come to his senses, "I'd be more than happy to do it, I mean—it's our honor."

With Lockhart's connection, Iphamoni came to the competition with the intention of observing and learning.

With the powerful Moriarty taking the lead, Brian happily agreed and immediately began informing his teammates.

Moriarty nodded in satisfaction. Now that a war pact had been established, even if it was just a small pact against the magic institute, it was a good start.

Before the magic institute was eliminated, we were all comrades-in-arms.

Moriarty shared some of the characteristics of the monsters, then left the small poison bottle and the slowing orb with Tonks, and told the three girls to be careful in everything they did.

After bidding farewell to Brian and Hubble, Moriarty brazenly headed towards the wilderness of the Magic Institute!

"Breaking Jiu Neng's leg was for this very moment."

Moriarty is preparing to raid the treasure trove of magic.

"Oh, it's the jungle area that belongs to the bottom lane."

After walking a few steps, Moriarty determined this by looking through the bushes.

Since that's the case, then I won't stand on ceremony.

Moriarty was farming the top lane jungle in his own base, and then came here to farm the bottom lane treasure and gold, forming a triangle jungle camp.

The first one is a horned camel.

It is still in its infancy, but its characteristics are already showing.

Its back is high and bulging, with thick, grayish-purple skin.

The hide of an adult horned beast is even tougher than that of a fire dragon, leading Moriarty to speculate that the treasure might contain protective items.

I remember Newt Scamander keeping the last remaining pair of brooding horned beasts and a young horned beast in his trunk and taking them to New York.

Moriarty narrowed his eyes, meaning that the horned camels appearing in the canyon were all descendants of that pair of horned camels.

They were probably brought over by Principal Dawn.

Principal Dawn really put in the effort this time.

Moriarty couldn't help but praise Principal Dawn.

Seeing the little horned beast barking defiantly at him, Moriarty resorted to his old method, turning the grass into meat, which emitted a delicious aroma.

The horned camel is an omnivore and eating some grass is fine.

They coaxed the little horned beast into eating it and obtained the treasure.

There are 10 gold coins and a small stone tablet that can block one spell (except the Killing Curse).

Moriarty patted the little horned beast's head and left.

The second monster was three little goblins.

They love to be mischievous, and when they see Moriarty, they clamor and beg him to tell them stories.

Moriarty used what he had on hand to tell the adventure story of a little boy with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead and a little boy with red hair.

A little goblin shook his head upon hearing this: "Pah, pah, pah! What a terrible story! Even ghosts wouldn't listen!"

The other one said, "Forget it, let's leave it at that. I want to go back as soon as possible and play with Pipi."

"I see. Then I'll tell you a story about Mischievous Ghost."

Moriarty told them about Peeves' fear of Barrow the Blood Man, and the three little goblins jumped for joy.

"It sounds so good, so good."

The little goblin was so happy that he gave Moriarty an extra 300 goblin coins.

Moriarty also received 30 gold coins and a treasure: 100 goblin gold coins.

Moriarty remembered that in the original story, the mascot of the Irish Quidditch national team was a goblin in the 1994 Quidditch World Cup final.

The goblins then tossed out a shower of goblin coins. The wizards were delighted.

What now?

Moriarty looked at the little goblin coin in his hand, wondering what it was for.

However, I still put it away. The treasures guarded by other monsters were useful, so there was no reason why they wouldn't be useful to the little goblin.

The third monster is the Niffler.

An adult Niffler, its black fur gleaming in the sunlight.

Seeing the Niffler relentlessly searching for treasure, Moriarty knew exactly how to obtain the treasure it was guarding.

At this moment, Moriarty regretted giving the sapphire, which had lost its invisibility effect, to Jiu Neng.

We should use sapphires as a bribe to sniff them out!

This is the correct way to use sapphire.

The person who created Magic Canyon has already figured out the best way to farm jungle monsters.

But the sapphire was gone, but that didn't faze Moriarty.

As the head of House Slytherin, Moriarty always carried an emerald with him.

Moriarty took it out of his robe and tossed it to Niffler; he had obtained the treasure.

20 gold coins and a small mirror to detect if there are people in the grass. It is also a disposable item, but it lasts for 30 seconds.

After clearing a round of wilderness areas, Moriarty earned a total of 100 gold coins.

This gave Moriarty an idea: six monsters provide 100 gold coins.

Next, he just had to wait for the next wave of jungle monsters to respawn. However, Moriarty could still clear three more jungle monsters, so he headed towards his own bottom lane jungle.

But he didn't know that he had spoiled the Sniff.

When the next treasure spawns, Nine can come over and farm the jungle, then bribe a Niffler with a bronze Nutter.

The sniffler got angry because it thought the money was too little!

How terrifying is an angry Niffler?

It is recorded in the original plot:

According to Hermione, this happened when the second Niffler was put into Dolores Umbridge's office.

Umbridge's scream sounded like a Sniffer was about to bite a huge chunk of flesh off her leg!

And so, another large piece of Jiu Neng's robe was missing, and he left grumbling.

I'll write a compilation of monster encounters when I've farmed two special monsters. This is the third update; goodnight everyone! (#ω#)
