The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 360 Daily Life and Letters

Chapter 360 Daily Life and Letters (Bonus chapter for the Helmsman, Yes, I Am Supreme Treasure!)

After the second round of matches, the most wonderful thing was that everyone was eager to know what happened during the hour Moriarty was missing.

It's worth noting that Tonks and Violet also disappeared at the same time!

Tonks was Moriarty's acknowledged girlfriend, and everyone has noticed that Violet has been getting closer to Moriarty lately.

The simultaneous disappearance and reappearance of the three people has sparked much speculation.

This means that Violet and Tonks have become the focus of attention.

Whenever the two of them pass by in public, they always attract attention and commotion.

Tonks handled the situation with ease, but Violet couldn't stand it; she gave the young wizards a fierce look more than once.

But it didn't work very well. The young wizards gradually discovered that as long as they didn't talk about vampires and wizards or disturb Violet's sleep, Violet was usually quite cute.

Especially those two sexy little tiger teeth, when they're exposed, make you want to stick out your tongue and lick them.

Violet complained to Moriarty, who explained to her that gossip is a social behavior of humans, and is fundamentally different from the solitary nature of vampires.

Violet only half understood, but soon people had no time to gossip, as she attended classes for a week straight to make up for the two rounds of matches she missed.

It was as if the professors from each subject had assigned all the homework that had accumulated over the semester.

Alchemy and Potions classes were particularly affected, with even a simple paper requiring at least 36 inches in length, much to the dismay of the young wizards.

The tutorials didn't return to normal until March.

The weather had cleared up a bit, but every time they went outside, the biting wind still stung their hands and faces.

Here, two extremes emerge again.

Durmstrang, and the Magic Institute.

On the Quidditch pitch, Krum's Durmstrang students played against Charlie's Gryffindor team.

Durmstrang is located in the Northern Hemisphere, and its students are exposed to ice and snow year-round, adapting to various harsh weather conditions.

The March chill meant nothing to Krum, who triumphantly removed his wizard robes, revealing only a leather vest to his upper body.

Charlie stubbornly took off his wizard robe, revealing his bare chest, but soon his nose started running from the cold.

"So even though they're all Quidditch players, they really are different."

Lilith, who was watching this scene from the window of the Transfiguration classroom, smiled at Moriarty and said...

"If you saw the Japanese students at the magic institute, you wouldn't say that," Moriarty replied lazily.

Lilith became interested and asked, "What's wrong with the Japanese students?"

"They were all huddled in their blankets, not wanting to move. Several students who usually loved going to the library were also curled up on the sofa, reading under blankets."

Moriarty didn't go out, yet he acted as if he knew everything.

He added, "In March, the cherry blossoms are in bloom in Japan, and the climate is pleasant, warm, and comfortable."

"But in England in March, the winds howl so hard that even owls cannot deliver mail in time."

"Therefore, the people from the magic institute simply cannot adapt to the cold here."

Lilith said thoughtfully, "No wonder Professor Snape was brewing a warming potion; it was for the students at the Institute of Magic."

"Young Miss, you have so many eyes and ears, how come you only discovered the truth now?" Moriarty teased.

"I don't want students from the magic academy! Our selection criteria are very strict!"

Although Lilith didn't say it, Moriarty knew that the "we" she was referring to was the Justice Law Society.

After the Five Schools League began, this club started to expand overseas, recruiting foreign junior wizards.

Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, and Ilvermony all have new members who have been absorbed by the laws of justice, but Lilith seems to look down on the students of the magic institute.

Seemingly sensing Moriarty's thoughts, Lilith explained, "For me, gender, nationality, and age are not issues; I don't care about those things."

She smiled slightly. "But I will assess the situation. The students from the magic institute are unpopular right now, so of course I can't accept them. Why would I want to go against the students of four schools?"

"Win some over, divide some, and strike at some. Don't you understand?"

Lilith winked at Moriarty, then stopped talking and went to read.

Tsk, acting like he knows everything.

Lilith's ambitions are even greater than Grindelwald's, and Moriarty is somewhat curious to see if she can pull it off.

After class, the students walked toward the auditorium. Lilith walked up behind Moriarty and approached him to ask a question.

"I spent the whole class period trying to figure out why owls can't deliver the mail on time?"

Moriarty gave Lilith a strange look: "Are you confused by complicated academic papers? The owls can't deliver the mail on time because the winds always blow them off course."

"It's that simple?!"

Lilith patted her forehead. "Merlin, I've overcomplicated things. Oh, you're going to laugh at me."

She glanced resentfully at the smile on Moriarty's lips and shrugged in frustration.

The two walked into the Great Hall together and sat side by side at the Slytherin table, which was unusually empty today.

Marcus reported that students were either in the library or in the common room, frantically catching up on assignments.

"Everyone who can afford to eat here is a top student," Marcus added quietly. Except for himself.

A snow-white owl flew into the auditorium; it was Moriarty's Poseidon the Snowy Owl.

"Coo~" Poseidon flew to Moriarty's arm, chirped softly, and handed him a letter.

As Moriarty took the letter, he smoothed Poseidon's feathers and said to Lilith, "Look, half of his feathers are being blown about by the wind."

"Okay, you're right, the owls are doomed." Lilith sighed.

"Feed Poseidon for me," Moriarty said, getting up and leaving.

"where you go?"

"Back to the dorm."

The letter was from the Soviet Union, sent by old Foley and old Flint, the "Flint Duo".

Something must have happened.

Moriarty walked back to his dormitory, but none of his three roommates were there, which was actually convenient.

I opened the letter and read it carefully.

Moriarty smiled slightly; the treasure map had been found.

However, it was hard-won.

When the Flint brothers arrived in the Soviet Union, Flint the Elder spent a fortune on Galleons, which earned him a prominent position in the Soviet magical world.

Old Foley secretly hired a large number of dark wizards to investigate Simon's treasure map and, incidentally, the situation in the Soviet Union.

After a month, old Foley found the treasure map.

After the treasure map was stolen by a Soviet wizard, it was handed over to a magical organization called the "Internal Affairs Committee".

It is called an institution rather than an organization because the Internal Affairs Committee is directly under the Soviet Ministry of Magic and is now cooperating with the Soviet government.

Old Foley ordered his hired dark wizards to steal the treasure map back, but the wizards refused when they heard that the target was the "Internal Affairs Council".

As expected, money talks. Old Foley spent 9000000 Galleons to win over these cowards.

Unexpectedly, the Internal Affairs Committee valued the treasure map highly. The dark wizards and the wizards of the Internal Affairs Committee engaged in a great battle, and it was only with great difficulty that they managed to obtain the treasure map.

Now that old Fly has the treasure map, he's boarded a passenger ship returning to London and will be back in two days, while old Flint remains in Moscow.

Old Flint did not come away empty-handed; he gleaned a piece of news, or rather, a rumor, from the high-ranking officials he associated with.

The origins of the Internal Affairs Association can be traced back to 1970, when it was called the Orthodox Church, not the Internal Affairs Association.

A very famous figure emerged from this Orthodox church.

Rasputin!

That was the end of the letter from the "Old Freaks" duo. Moriarty destroyed the letter immediately after reading it.

With a somber expression, Moriarty lay down on the bed, his hands behind his head, gazing at the curtains above him, lost in thought.

Moriarty knew Rasputin.

He was a Muggle, yet he once controlled the government of the Russian Empire. Coupled with his rather wicked behavior, he was known as the "Demon Monk"!

But didn't such a person die 70 years ago?

Internal Affairs Committee...

Soviet Union...

After much thought, Moriarty couldn't find anything.

The Soviet Union issue can be put aside for now, but the issue with Japan needs to be addressed.

Moriarty got out of bed. He had arranged to meet Kyuujou Satoru on the eighth-floor corridor that night.
