The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 163 Magic Revival Item Shop

Chapter 163 Magic Revival Item Shop

At 10 a.m., a large number of wizards gathered in front of 66 Diagon Alley.

This place was originally an empty shop, but after renovation and refurbishment, it has been completely transformed, with high-end and luxurious features everywhere, as if it were designed to showcase the wealth and extravagance of a pure-blooded family.

The pure-blood family had already announced that the wand set created by Moriarty and Nicolas Flamel would soon be available for sale.

The two locations for sale are 66 Diagon Alley, the most bustling commercial center in the British wizarding world, and 88 Hogsmeade, the wizarding village.

The Malfoy family members were on site maintaining order, and they were overjoyed that their wife had been granted management control of the distribution channels.

The head of the Malfoy family is dead, but instead of declining, the Malfoy family has opened two prop shops.

This made them wonder if their wife had some kind of relationship with the two creators of the wand set.

But whether it's Moriarty or Nicolas Flamel, their ages are too outrageous—one is 12 years old, and the other is over 600 years old. It's impossible for Madame Malfoy, who is in her prime, to have an affair with them, right?

Several staff members chuckled until they saw Mrs. Malfoy approaching with a large group of Ministry of Magic officials. They quickly stopped their discussion and pretended to be focused on their work.

Mrs. Malfoy wore white gloves, which she elegantly placed on her lower abdomen.

She wore a white silk shirt today, which gave her a mature look, and a black coat over it, which made her fair skin even more dazzling.

She wore black trousers and white boots, and as she walked, she created a gust of wind that made the hem of her coat flutter.

The wizards found that her deceased husband did not seem to have brought much gloom to Mrs. Malfoy; her face was radiant.

But only Mrs. Malfoy herself knew the truth: everything changed after Lucius's death.

The house was a mess, and things kept going missing. A few days ago, her personal bath towel disappeared.

Fortunately, she received help from Moriarty.

Those greedy pure-blood families immediately abandoned their covetousness for her and the Malfoy family's fortune.

Mrs. Malfoy was deeply grateful to Moriarty, so when she received Moriarty's letter, she accepted his invitation without hesitation.

Originally, the two prop shops were allocated within the pureblood family.

However, with the vast sums of money from the Malfoy family, far exceeding the investment of other families, Mrs. Malfoy naturally took over the management rights of the two prop shops.

Narcissa, who was well-intentioned, thought she was helping Moriarty, but in reality, she fell into Moriarty's trap!

However, she didn't understand these things; she believed that they could enhance the family's influence, just like they were now.

"Dobby? Dobby!" she called to her house-elf. Dobby ran to her, and she commanded imperiously, "Take Master Scrimgeour to fetch the set of one hundred wands for the Ministry of Magic, then prepare to open the door."

Rufus Scrimgeour, the Auror office chief standing beside her, had brown hair.

Although a few strands of gray hair were mixed in with his hair and eyebrows, it did not affect his serious temperament in the slightest. His eagle-like eyes gleamed sharply behind his gold-rimmed glasses.

"Mrs. Malfoy, on behalf of the British Ministry of Magic, I thank you." He nodded solemnly to Narcissa.

Mrs. Malfoy glanced at him, nodded slightly, and then looked away.

Rufus Scrimgeour's aloof and haughty demeanor annoyed Rufus Scrimgeour, but that didn't matter; he only wanted the wand set to enhance the Auror's combat power.

He left with Dobby, and Mrs. Malfoy entered the prop shop through the back door and opened the door.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" She stretched out her arms in a hugging gesture, her white gloves reflecting a soft glow in the sunlight. "Wand sets are now available for a limited time, priced at 12 silver shicos!"

The wizards rushed into the prop shop, whispering amongst themselves as they went.

"Wow!"

"Such an affordable price!"

"I heard the price was low, but I didn't expect it to be this low. Could it be a half-finished product?"

"My friend, you're overthinking it. Didn't you see the head of the Auror's office is here? These are the combat tools provided to the Aurors. If something goes wrong—the Malfoy family can't afford the responsibility!"

When the first wizard received the wand set and used it, he jumped up and down with joy: "This is the wand set of my dreams! Really, I'm not lying. I'm short, and my arms aren't long, so it's always been a hassle to pull my wand out from under my robes. Now that problem is solved!"

He stretched out his right hand, and the wand popped out. He put the wand back into the suit, flicked his wrist, and the wand sprang out again.

"Haha, the problem that has bothered me all my life is solved!" He happily repeated the same action, unable to put it down.

His words were echoed by many wizards, who found that a set of wands that were both affordable and useful could not be found even after drinking Felix Felicis!

Now, they each have one.

The only downside is that, because the pure-blood family staff don't possess the same level of magical power as Moriarty and Nicolas Flamel, their efficiency in creating wand sets is too low.

Perhaps their only advantage is their large number of people.

However, even a hundred staff members couldn't match half of Moriarty's output, so in the three days Moriarty revealed his technology, they only produced two thousand wand sets.

More than 400 units were sold during the first limited-time sale!

Mrs. Malfoy was pleased to see wizards crowding outside the shop, all wanting to buy a wand set during the next limited-time sale.

"The next limited-time sale is at three o'clock in the afternoon," Mrs. Malfoy told the staff. "I'm going to Hogsmeade. You guys keep an eye on the shop."

If reporters from the Daily Prophet arrive, allow them to conduct interviews; if foreign Ministry of Magic officials arrive—especially the French! Throw them out.

Lady Malfoy haughtily raised her head, strode into the fireplace, sprinkled some Floo Powder, and exclaimed, "Hogsmeade Number 88!"

She used Floo Powder no less than a hundred times, and the familiar suction appeared. The swirling green flames pulled her away, and she appeared in another fireplace.

"Oh, dear Sissi, you've come?"

A girl's voice came from outside the fireplace. Mrs. Malfoy recognized the voice as belonging to her classmate and best friend, Mrs. Parkinson.

Only her classmate and best friend would call her that.

Lady Malfoy stepped out of the fireplace, looked around, and saw that the doors and windows were also full of wizards, which made her smile.

"How's it going? How many have you sold?"

"You know perfectly well what I'm asking! Things couldn't be better. We sold 500 units in the first limited-time sale, but we still have 500 units in stock, enough for just one more sale."

Mrs. Parkinson glanced at Mrs. Malfoy with some envy. Although the wand sets were not expensive, as the manager of two stores, most of the money earned went into Mrs. Malfoy's pocket.

Even though Mrs. Malfoy had invested a large sum of money and should have received the most, Mrs. Parkinson was still inevitably jealous.

Who knows what other strange but incredibly effective magical gadgets Moriarty and Nicolas Flamel will come up with next?

If Moriarty or Nicolas Flamel want to raise the price, Narcissa will make a fortune.

Mrs. Malfoy was fully aware of her best friend's thoughts, but she didn't care.

"Where are Draco and Pansy? I haven't seen them. You didn't leave them any wand sets, did you?" Mrs. Malfoy asked calmly. Her son was the only person she cared about.

"Please, how could we forget them? They're at Elegant Wizarding Clothing Store, where they've released a wizarding robe in collaboration with Mr. Lockhart."

Mrs. Malfoy walked toward the door, and Mrs. Parkinson hurriedly asked, "What are you going to do? Let them go buy them; it's just a few robes."

"I don't mind my son spending Galleons," Mrs. Malfoy said without turning her head. "I just want to tell him that Galleons can't protect him forever. I'm going to take him to Hogwarts, in the name of the twelve school board members."

She pushed open the shop door. The sunlight was gentle, and there wasn't a breath of wind; it was a beautiful day.
