The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 150 Dracula's End

Chapter 150 Dracula's End

"Are you kidding me?" Jericho shook his head mechanically. "This isn't funny, not funny at all!"

"No, Lilith's words make sense. Look." Moriarty gazed into the distance, where the snow-capped mountain had completely collapsed, revealing the enormous body of the black dragon, which blotted out the sky!

The black dragon seemed to have shed a white coat, freeing its broad wings. Moriarty felt that two Hogwarts castles could fit on its wings!

"Whoosh—whoosh!"

The black dragon slowly rose into the sky, and the entire Avalon suddenly darkened!

The dragon's head twisted and turned excitedly, its dark red eyes observing the world intently. Clearly, the tiny Dracula was beyond its sight.

Dracula's roar vanished completely in the whistling wind created by his wings. Dracula was furious, and the corpse and head were reconnected through viral magic.

Although they did not merge, they managed to share their magic power. At this moment, the anger and resentment accumulated over thousands of years were released!

Dracula's head, imbued with a multitude of negative emotions and dark psyches, transforms the black smoke into a tangible, dark shadow.

The shadows began to spread in all directions, quickly covering the lake and rushing towards the forest and flowerbeds!

"Let's go!" Moriarty flew into the sky with Lilith, and Jericho flew up with his stag in his arms. The shadows seemed to open their eyes, and a black light shot out towards Moriarty, while most of the shadows meandered and swirled, rushing towards the black dragon.

"Obstacles are numerous!"

Moriarty first blocked the black light in mid-air, then a glint of light flashed in his eyes, "Let me try to seize the virus magic."

He swung his staff with a sharp, whistling sound, shouting, "Wind Stealing!"

Two seconds before the wind elemental magic merged into the air, and the black light pierced Moriarty like an arrow. The wind elemental magic entered the black light without any obstruction through the air, and the ability stealing was activated!

"Ding-dong~ Congratulations, host, for seizing a small amount of viral magic and gaining the ability to incite human rebellious psychology."

Is it just to provoke a rebellious mentality?

Compared to the three major abilities of viral magic: negative emotions, dark psychology, and evil thoughts, it is quite different.

However, when used properly, it can sometimes produce unexpected results.

Most importantly, the successful capture means Moriarty has another means of acquiring the weapon, and the task of perfecting the "Whispering Serpent" can now be put on the agenda.

After the wind elemental magic drained the viral magic contained within the black light, the black light gradually dissipated.

The black dragon struggled to suppress the head inside its mouth, and wisps of black mist emerged from the head, corroding the dragon's mouth, tongue, and face.

"roar!"

The black dragon spewed out a mouthful of dragonfire, its scorching heat pouring onto its head, but it could not burn away the black mist.

On the other side, Dracula's corpse raised its hands and pointed at the black dragon, and countless black shadows immediately flew out and wrapped around the black dragon's two hind legs.

"Roar! Roar!" the black dragon roared, shaking its body, but its body remained motionless.

"It's no use, Merlin! I've already corrupted the sacred lake and its spirits; from them, I can draw endless magical power!"

Dracula stood on a beam of black light, slowly rising into the air until he was parallel to the dragon's head, where he chuckled sinisterly.

"Stop struggling, just hand over my head obediently, and I promise I won't kill you. I'll still cut off your head and seal it in this stinking armor!"

Seeing this from a distance, Jericho's face turned grim: "If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never have believed that such a massive black dragon was completely helpless against Dracula."

Even if this black dragon wasn't Merlin's incarnation, with such a terrifying body, a mere gust of wind it stirred up would be a cataclysmic event. Yet Dracula was able to suppress the black dragon; one can only imagine how powerful he must have been thousands of years ago, when he possessed a head!

"You have to do something," Lilith said, ignoring Jericho and turning to Moriarty. "You can do it! Only you can help Merlin! We can't let Dracula get his head."

Moriarty scratched his temples, feeling like he'd missed something, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

However, this was clearly not the time to seek answers. Moriarty surveyed the battlefield, then looked at the sacred lake and the forest.

As the dark shadows expanded, the azure sacred lake gradually became murky, and a small swamp formed, polluting the lake.

The trees in the forest turned yellow and withered, and the streams and springs were polluted, as if the power of the forest was being drained away, and a dirty and rotten smell permeated the air.

What about the elves?

Moriarty suddenly remembered Diana's elven race. She said that the elves were experiencing intense emotional fluctuations, and now that the forest had become such a horrible sight, the elves were indifferent.

"There's a reason why the magic of 'Do Not Disturb the Sleeping Dragon' has become weaker," Moriarty pointed to the sacred lake and forest, "There must be a race living there! Viral magic has infected them and is drawing power from them."

We'll split up to deal with the anomalies in the sacred lake and the forest. I'll go to the sacred lake, and you two go to the forest.

Jericho and Lilith exchanged a glance and nodded solemnly. Moriarty instructed, "Be careful. If you encounter elves in the forest, retreat immediately."

"Huh? Why?" Lilith asked, puzzled. "Isn't our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor an elven priest?"

Jericho narrowed his eyes slightly: "But did you see an elf come out to help us? Draw your wand, young lady."

The three flew to the ground, split into two groups, and quickly got to work.

"Apparition!" Moriarty shouted in a deep voice.

A soft "snap" sounded in the air, and Moriarty appeared by the lake. He bent down, extended his right index finger and touched the surface of the lake. Water elemental magic flowed from his finger and entered the sacred lake.

A few seconds later, most of the lake water froze into ice, except for a swamp in the center of Lake Sacred that stubbornly resisted the magic of the water element.

Moriarty even felt his magic being backfired. He quickly walked to the swamp and saw a sword without a hilt stuck in the center of the swamp.

He suddenly remembered the story he had heard with Lilith on the plane during summer vacation—King Arthur pulled the sword from the sacred lake…and became invincible…but in the end, he lost the scabbard…Merlin said that the scabbard could ensure that the sword's owner would never bleed…

"Is that the scabbard of the sword in the lake?"

Moriarty thought it was possible, so he cast several spells into the swamp, but the swamp remained a swamp. The virus magic even absorbed the water and wind elemental magic, growing stronger and stronger.

"Very well! The forbidden spell of wind magic—Raging Gale!" Moriarty was enraged. He had intended to leave this spell to Dracula, but now he was forced to use it.

The Slytherin staff was thrown into the air, unleashing its wind elemental magic. A giant tornado appeared, followed by towering columns of wind that seemed to reach into the clouds. Gale and gale swept past, but they were poised to strike, as if waiting for something.

"Whoosh—" The staff fell to the ground and landed in Moriarty's hand. He twirled the staff and pointed it at the swamp!

"boom!"

All the winds stirred, and the endless sound of the winds converged into a furious roar, changing the color of the heavens and earth!

The swamp was pulverized by countless wind blades, and the frenzied and brutal wind element shattered the virus magic!

Dracula and the black dragon, who were engaged in battle, were startled and stared blankly as a gleaming golden scabbard was blown into the air by the wind.

The black dragon was incredibly excited to see the sword sheath. It struggled violently, radiating joy. Dragon breath and dragon language spells followed one after another, bombarding its head.

Dracula had to focus on dealing with the black dragon and didn't see Moriarty get the scabbard. At the same time, an explosion came from the forest, and a green light covered the forest, eliminating the viral magic inside.

Did Lilith and Jericho succeed?

A strange light flashed in Moriarty's eyes. He put the scabbard into the system space, turned his head to look at the black dragon. Now the black dragon should be able to unleash its true power.

The black shadow on the black dragon's body gradually collapsed, melting away as quickly as ice. Dracula screamed, his magic power waning without the source of the viral magic.

"Ugh~"

The black dragon roared loudly, sending him flying. It then unleashed a burst of dragon fire, and Dracula howled in agony in the scorching flames, utterly powerless to resist. He only lasted two seconds before his body caught fire and was burned to ashes.

Then, the black dragon wedged Dracula's head between its two teeth and took flight!

A series of system boosting sounds rang out.

"Ding-dong~ The host has been detected to have discovered Merlin's incarnation - the ancient black dragon in Western mythology. The host is rewarded with ten achievement draws!"

The system detected that the host assisted Merlin in killing Dracula's corpse. The host is rewarded with 5 points.
