I'm sorry, but your fiancé loves me.

Chapter 54 You're too difficult to deal with, I'm moving, please leave me alone.

She was so angry with him that she said such hurtful things as "Have you no shame?"

However, Qin Qihan could accept it because since she met Yun Muqian, she had never said anything too harsh.

On the contrary, it was because he had a bad temper in the past that he said many hurtful things to her.

Qin Qihan didn't care about anything else, as long as he could reconcile with her. He suddenly took a step forward, reached out his hand, and said in a low voice with a clingy, persistent quality: "Give me a hug."

All he wants to do right now is hug her more. He always feels that he hasn't hugged her properly when they're together. Even though she doesn't say it, she must also want to be hugged more often.

Yun Muqian paused slightly, her brows furrowing gently. She shrank back, raising the cup higher to shield the two of them: "Qin Qihan, did I just ask you if you have any shame?"

Of course he's shameless.

If they had any sense of shame, they wouldn't have kept pestering me like this.

Qin Qihan didn't pull her hand back; her palm was still outstretched, facing upwards. "I've been thinking about you all day. Let me hug you."

She placed the mug on the coffee table, crossed her arms, leaned back on the sofa, thought for a moment, and said seriously:

"Qin Qihan, are you having trouble finding women? Why are you so hung up on me? There are so many women younger and prettier than me out there; you could easily find a bunch with a wave of your hand. Is it really necessary?"

She thought her words would sting him, after all, she had also fought her way through a bunch of women to be by his side.

But Qin Qihan didn't even blink after hearing that, and his handsome face, which was so perfect that there wasn't a single flaw, showed no sign of being offended.

He took a few more steps forward, forcing her to shrink back until her back pressed against the edge of the sofa cushion; any further and she would have fallen over.

He bent down, placed his hands on the back of the sofa on either side of her body, and encircled her between himself and the sofa.

"I won't look for anyone else." He was a whole size bigger than her, his shoulders almost completely blocking her view, and his voice was low and menacing as he spoke: "Besides, no one can compare to you."

He was telling the truth; he felt that no one was as good as her, as smart, or as likable.

Yun Muqian was cornered on the sofa by him, and she turned her face away from him, saying, "Get off me."

Qin Qihan released his hands from the sofa, but not to let her go. Instead, he scooped her up with the cushions and pulled her into his arms, wrapping his arms around her waist and lifting her off the sofa, pressing her against his chest.

His chin rested on the top of her head, and his other hand went around her shoulder and back, holding the back of her head tightly, leaving her no room to struggle.

"Qin Qihan!" Her voice was muffled in his chest, filled with annoyance.

Things are different now than before. Why should I be nice to her for no reason? She won't accept it.

From the beginning, she viewed their relationship very simply: an exchange of benefits, each getting what they needed—a very adult choice.

But it's pointless if he keeps cheating.

Qin Qihan lowered his head, buried his face in the crook of her neck, took a deep breath, and his voice, muffled by her hair, was so low and hoarse that it was almost inaudible: "Yun Muqian, why are you treating me like this now?"

Yun Muqian was held so tightly by him that she couldn't move, but she retorted sharply, "What's wrong? Didn't you treat me like this before?"

She wasn't being petty; there were no feelings involved to begin with, so what was there for her to fuss about? But if he were to pitifully tell her that she couldn't treat him like that, she wouldn't be happy.

In the past, whether from a work perspective or an emotional perspective, she was the best secretary and lover. She never did anything to wrong him. Even when she got involved with other people, it was only when they were about to break up.

To be fair, given her current state of being anonymous and without status, whatever she did was right.

Qin Qihan suddenly stopped moving.

He buried his face in the crook of her neck, remaining motionless for a few seconds. Then he slightly raised his head, his nose still brushing against her earlobe: "Are you blaming me for not treating you well before?"

The string that had been tormenting him for so many days suddenly loosened. A glimmer of secret joy appeared in his eyes—so she still remembered, she was still holding a grudge about the past.

He thought that if she didn't love him and didn't care about him, she wouldn't have mentioned the past at all.

She brought it up, which means she definitely cares. She cares about what he did to her, about how he ignored her, treated her coldly, and said those hurtful things. Her caring means she still has feelings for him.

That's good, it's better than not caring about anything at all, it shows that she hasn't let go yet.

He lowered his head and nuzzled against the crook of her neck, his voice tinged with a low chuckle: "Then give me another chance. I was wrong before, I'll change."

Qin Qihan has lived for over twenty years, and for over twenty years he has been an ice block, never putting any thought into matters of the heart.

But he was willing to change for her.

Yun Muqian felt a tingling sensation all over her body from his rubbing against her. She couldn't push him away or escape him. She bit her lower lip, feeling his breath spread from her neck to behind her ear. The warm, slightly moist breath softened her reason little by little.

She didn't know how he carried her from the sofa to the bedroom.

When she came to her senses, her back was already sinking into the soft mattress, her hair spread out on the pillow, Qin Qihan was supporting himself on top of her, one hand holding her waist, the other hand supporting himself on the sheet beside her head, enveloping her completely beneath him.

He looked down at her, his eyes now filled with a fierce light, as if he wanted to devour her.

He must have been feeling really stifled when she wasn't around.

Moreover, Yun Muqian clearly sensed that something was different.

He used to reach out and grab her whenever he wanted, his strength heavy and urgent, and he was in control of the rhythm from beginning to end.

She didn't say anything then, gritted her teeth and endured it. The next morning, she made him coffee as usual, as if nothing had happened.

But at this moment, he was on top of her, his lips moving from her brow to the tip of her nose, and from the tip of her nose to the corner of her mouth, pausing long enough with each movement, as if waiting for her to give a response.

He would even look down at her slightly furrowed brows to make sure she wasn't uncomfortable before continuing.

He was actually trying to please her.

This is something that makes her happy, besides money.

This tenderness made Yun Muqian feel extremely uncomfortable.

She didn't understand why he did this.

She endured for a few seconds, but finally couldn't take it anymore. She bent her knee and tried to push him away, but he didn't budge.

Enraged, she raised her foot and kicked him in the broad chest. The force wasn't too heavy, but it wasn't light either. Her foot pushed him back a short distance.

"What are you dawdling about?" Her cheeks were flushed from the rubbing, her hair was disheveled on the pillow, and she glared at him.

Qin Qihan didn't back down after she kicked him away. Instead, he pressed forward and covered her with his whole body. He grabbed her ankle with one hand and pressed her leg down again. He rested his hand on her ear, looked down at her, and was so close that his breath was all over her face.

"Don't be angry," he said softly, with the patience of someone coaxing a child. "I won't nag anymore."

A few hours later, he looked down at the person in his arms. She had buried her face in the pillow, and her breathing had gradually become shallow, as if she was about to fall asleep.

He tightened his grip on her arm, his voice soft as if afraid of waking her, yet he couldn't help but ask, "Yun Muqian, I have something to ask you."

Yun Muqian didn't move, and lazily let out a soft "hmm" from her throat.

"What is our relationship?"

Yun Muqian was silent for two seconds: "Friends with benefits."

Qin Qihan's arm stiffened for a moment. He propped himself up and looked down at her. She was still in that position, her face buried in the pillow, not even lifting her eyelids.

He looked at her nonchalant expression, and a slight twitch appeared at the corner of his mouth, tinged with helplessness and resentment, but his tone remained gentle:

"You mean friends with benefits? But you don't seem like the type to sleep with men casually."

Yun Muqian finally moved, turning over to lie on her side facing him. She lifted her eyelids slightly, her gaze falling on his face: "You don't seem like the kind of man who would sleep with women casually. You slept with me, didn't you?"

Qin Qihan smiled slightly: "Then we were born to be together."

"Don't talk." She didn't reply. "I want to sleep."

Qin Qihan was pushed away slightly, but he quickly leaned back, gently twirling a stray strand of her hair with his fingers, and said persistently, "I'm serious. Think about it."

Yun Muqian remained silent.

Qin Qihan waited a few seconds, then spoke again: "Be my girlfriend."

Still no word.

He waited a while longer, then cautiously probed, "Or you could not agree yet, but... please don't say things like 'friends with benefits' anymore. It sounds offensive."

Yun Muqian, with her eyes closed, mumbled a dismissive reply: "Go to sleep."

Qin Qihan lowered his head, touched her forehead with his lips, then propped himself up, lifted the covers and got out of bed.

Yun Muqian felt the mattress next to her bounce slightly, followed by the sound of his bare feet on the floor. He didn't walk towards the bedroom door, but instead went in the opposite direction.

She rolled over, peeked through a crack, and saw him open the refrigerator door.

"What are you doing?"

"See what you have in your fridge." Qin Qihan turned around, shirtless, and looked at her curled up on the bed. His voice softened. "Are you hungry?"

Yun Muqian pulled the blanket up to cover half of her face:

"I'm not hungry."

Qin Qihan ignored her and turned around to take out a carton of eggs, a bag of noodles, and a bunch of scallions from the refrigerator, and then rummaged through the cupboard to find a pot.

When has Young Master Qin ever cooked? The few times he has cooked were all because of her. It's true that when you love someone, you want to take care of them and worry that they will go hungry.

Yun Muqian lay in bed, listening to the faint, deliberately hushed noises coming from the kitchen, and felt extremely irritated.

She turned over, buried her face in the pillow, and didn't move again.

After a while, footsteps slowly approached from the direction of the kitchen. The mattress dipped slightly, and a warm porcelain bowl was placed on the bedside table. Qin Qihan sat on the edge of the bed, her voice low:

"The noodles are ready. Do you want to eat them now, or later?"

She stopped talking.

Looks like we'll have to move again.

This guy is too difficult to deal with.
