"How did the exam go, Aya?"

At the end of the school day, Lin Shiye and Jiu Jicaiye mingled in the bustling crowd and walked out of the school gate side by side.

"Just play your best," Aya said calmly.

Indeed, this level of exam is far too easy for a superhuman like Sister Cai.

"Colorful Leaf, Tokiyo!" Radiant Light waved to them from afar.

The neighborhood consists mostly of old-style five-story residential buildings, not many in number, but the environment is tranquil. Neatly trimmed camphor trees and lawns surround a clear pond, and there is a playground and sports facilities not far away.

"Wow, this place is just like a park!" Huiyao's eyes lit up as his gaze was drawn to a group of children throwing cards in an open space not far away.

"Shiye, which floor is the apartment you mentioned on?" Caiye asked, looking around at her surroundings.

Lin Shiye raised his finger and pointed to a building not far away.

"Mom and Dad?" Huiyao tilted his head and asked curiously.

"Could Shi Ye's parents be the owners of some big company?"

"They left when I was very young, and this building is the legacy they left me."

Caiye gently patted Huiyao on the back of the head, and the latter realized that he had said the wrong thing and quickly lowered his head to apologize in a low voice.

"It's nothing." Lin Shiye didn't care at all. Anyway, he had lived two lives and had never experienced what it was like to have parents.

He reached out and ruffled Huiyao's hair.

After speaking, her gaze fell on the two girls behind Lin Shiye, and she looked them up and down.

"Are these two new neighbors? You... you only ever pick on pretty girls."

"Hello, my name is Aya Sakegi." Aya bowed slightly.

"I'm Huiyao~" Huiyao made a peace sign with his hand, grinning from ear to ear.

"My name is Momoka Kawahara, it's nice to meet you." Momoka nodded politely.

Caiye also looked over curiously.

"Well... they're all quite unique," Lin Shiye said slowly as he walked ahead.

"The first floor is occupied by a very kind old man who has lived here for decades. He goes fishing by the river almost every day. The second floor is where Tao Xiang lived. She used to be the lead singer of a fairly famous band, and now she occasionally goes to the streets to play guitar and sing to earn some pocket money."

"On the third floor lives a lovely girl named Tamamo Cross. She's been very busy with competitions lately, leaving early and returning late every day. On the fourth floor lives Yukino Fuyuki, a great beauty, but she's busy with her graduation thesis defense, so you probably won't see her for a while."

"Are we the only household on the fifth floor?" Huiyao asked curiously, blinking his big eyes.

Soon, the three of them arrived at the empty room on the fifth floor. Looking at the spacious and bright living room and bedroom, as well as the separate kitchen and balcony, Huiyao was so happy that he spun around several times. Finally, he didn't have to squeeze into the cramped rental room anymore!
