"It's underground again." Old Ma rubbed his hands together. "I'm most afraid of going underground. It always feels like entering a tomb."

"You stay up there," Zhou Lang said.

"No!" Old Ma quickly followed. "Those faceless children up there are even scarier."

The five people walked down the stone steps.

The stone steps were very long. After walking for about five minutes, I reached the bottom.

Below is an iron gate.

The iron gate was half open.

Zhou Lang pushed open the iron gate.

Inside is a huge laboratory.

It was filled with operating tables and instruments.

A child was strapped to each operating table. The child's body was covered in tubes.

The pipe connects to a glass pillar in the center of the room.

The glass column was filled with red liquid. A beating heart floated in the liquid.

A black tube was inserted into his heart. The tube led to the roof.

Zhou Lang looked at the heart.

"This is the source," the bandaged man's voice rang out. "The heart is an energy pump. It draws the child's life force and sends it up there."

"Where to send it?" Zhou Lang asked.

"Follow the pipes."

Zhou Lang looked up. The black pipe pierced through the roof and disappeared into the concrete slab.

The child on the operating table suddenly opened his eyes.

Their eyes were completely black.

Dozens of children simultaneously ripped off the tubes attached to their bodies and jumped off the operating table.

Instead of attacking Zhou Lang, they surrounded the glass pillar.

A man in a white coat walked out from behind a glass pillar.

The man was holding a scalpel.

His face was covered by a mask, with only his eyes showing.

"You shouldn't have come here," the man said.

His voice sounded mechanical.

"Who are you?" Zhou Lang asked.

"I'm a cleaner," the man said, holding up a scalpel. "I'm in charge of cleaning up the trash."

The man flashed and appeared directly in front of Zhou Lang.

They are faster than the lizardmen.

The scalpel plunged into Zhou Lang's throat.

Zhou Lang leaned back. The tip of the knife grazed his chin, leaving a bloody mark.

Zhou Lang swung his cane and struck the man in the waist.

The man gripped his cane with his other hand.

The force was immense. Zhou Lang couldn't pull his crutch back.

Zhao Qiang swung the fire axe and chopped it down on the man's head.

The man raised his foot and kicked Zhao Qiang in the stomach.

Zhao Qiang was sent flying backward, crashing into an operating table.

Han Yingying's hands glowed green, and two beams of light shot towards the man.

The man loosened his cane, stepped back, and dodged the beam of light.

"Your energy is very special," the man said, looking at Han Yingying. "Especially you. Your energy structure doesn't belong here."

Han Yingying remained silent. She continued to gather green light.

Zhou Lang looked at the man.

This monster's strength reached the peak of C-level, even approaching B-level.

"Old Ma, Liu Wei," Han Yingying turned her head, "help me stall him for five seconds."

Old Ma gritted his teeth and took out the last two yellow talismans.

"I'll risk it!" Old Ma threw the talisman out.

Two beams of yellow light shone on the man.

The man paused for a moment. Just a second.

Liu Wei took a nail gun out of his bag.

He fired three shots at the man.

The steel nails struck the man, making a metallic clanging sound. The man wore a bulletproof vest under his white coat.

But this bought them some time.

Han Yingying clasped her hands together and closed her eyes.

A strong green light burst forth from her body.

The entire basement was illuminated by green light.

The green light converged into a giant lightsaber, hovering above the man's head.

"Slay." Han Yingying uttered a single word.

The lightsaber fell.

The man raised his hands to block.

The lightsaber severed his hands and struck him directly on the head.

The man was split in two.

No blood flowed out. His body was full of mechanical parts and black wires.

He is a cyborg.

Han Yingying's body went limp and she fell backward.

Zhou Lang stepped forward and helped her up.

Han Yingying had her eyes closed and was breathing very weakly.

"She's exhausted," the bandaged man said.

Zhou Lang placed Han Yingying on an empty operating table next to him.

He walked up to the glass pillar.

He raised his cane and smashed the glass.

Red liquid spilled all over the ground.

Zhou Lang reached in and crushed the heart.

The moment the heart shattered, all the children surrounding it collapsed to the ground and turned into mummified corpses.

A system notification sounded.

"Congratulations on completing the C-rank dungeon 'Sunshine Orphanage'. The core has been destroyed. Rewards will be distributed after you leave the dungeon."

"Return to reality in ten seconds."

Zhou Lang stood in front of the wreckage of the glass pillar.

There was a black metal piece in the red liquid.

He bent down and picked up the metal piece.

That familiar symbol was engraved on it.

Zhou Lang put the metal piece into his pocket.

He turned his head.

Han Yingying sat on the operating table, looking at him.

She woke up.

She watched Zhou Lang put the metal piece into his pocket.

"What are you looking for?" Han Yingying asked.

Zhou Lang walked up to her.

"Let's find some clues," Zhou Lang said.

He didn't plan to tell Han Yingying about the coordinates. This matter involved secrets of the real world. He didn't want to drag others into it.

Han Yingying looked into his eyes.

She didn't ask any further questions.

She took a bottle of water out of her bag, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to Zhou Lang.

"Have some water," she said.

Zhou Lang took the water. The water was warm.

He took a sip.

Han Yingying's attitude was the same as usual. There was no curiosity, no anger.

Zhou Lang felt a little awkward.

He was used to keeping things to himself. But Han Yingying's completely indifferent attitude made him feel like there was a wall between them.

"That move you just made was really impressive," Zhou Lang said, changing the subject.

"The strain was too great. I can't stand up now," Han Yingying said.

Old Ma and Liu Wei walked over.

Old Ma looked at the mechanical corpse on the ground.

"This thing is a robot." Old Ma kicked the parts on the ground.

Liu Wei looked at Han Yingying.

"Girl, with your skills, you could easily dominate a B-rank dungeon," Liu Wei said.

Han Yingying looked at the two of them.

"You two didn't run away just now," Han Yingying said.

Old Ma scratched his head.

"There's no way to escape. The door's up there, and that monster's so fast, you'll die even faster if you turn your back to it," Old Ma said.

Liu Wei put the nail gun into his bag.

"I'm just a lockpicker, and I found this gun in the last dungeon," Liu Wei said.

"Your skills and items are very useful," Han Yingying said. "Old Ma's runes can control monsters. Liu Wei can pick locks. In dungeons, this is more important than pure combat power. How about we consider forming a fixed team?"

Old Ma glanced at Liu Wei.

Liu Wei shook his head.

"Girls, we're really no good," Liu Wei said. "The monsters you guys fight are getting stronger and stronger. We've used up all our resources today. If we keep running dungeons with you guys, we'll just become cannon fodder."

Old Ma nodded as well.

"Yeah. Let's go back to farming D-rank and E-rank dungeons. We can earn enough to make a living."

Han Yingying did not force her.

"Okay," she said.

A white light appeared.

The five people disappeared in the basement.

Going back to reality.

Zhou Lang stood in his room.

He took the metal plate out of his pocket and placed it on the table.

Black card, iron plate, diary, metal plate.

The four items were placed together.
