After the doubts of the night dissipated, Jiang Zhiyu was no longer in a hurry.

She poured herself another cup of spiritual spring water from her spatial storage, tilted her head back, and drank it all in one gulp. The stinging pain in her mind completely subsided. Only then did she take off her coat and collapse onto the bed.

I slept very soundly.

Jiang Zhiyu slowly opened her eyes as sunlight streamed through the curtains. She turned over and touched the small alarm clock on the bedside table.

Half past ten.

She paused for two seconds, then laughed.

Fortunately, no one from her uncle's family was pressuring her. Those who were supposed to go to work had gone to work, and those who were going to discuss business had gone out, so the manor was quiet.

Before Jiang Zhiyu even reached the top of the stairs, she heard a series of thumping footsteps coming from below.

Seventeen chuckled in her mind.

"Host, your little cousin has already strolled back and forth between the dining room and the main hall fifty times."

Jiang Zhiyu held onto the railing and walked down the stairs step by step.

Su Wenhao happened to look up again, and upon seeing her, he immediately perked up.

"Oh, my little cousin."

He strode over, circled her halfway, rested his chin on one hand, and pointed at the bottom of her eyes with the other.

"Did you go steal a cow last night?"

He moved even closer.

"Look at those dark circles under your eyes. You're so excited about just a few antiques; you didn't sleep a wink all night."

Jiang Zhiyu yawned in response to his words.

"I don't know anything about antiques, but judging from your expression, you seem even more excited than I was when I got my first new motorcycle."

He grabbed Jiang Zhiyu's shoulder and pushed her towards the other end of the restaurant.

"Come on, come on, those guys called again this morning, saying they have good news."

Jiang Zhiyu's eyes lit up.

He sat down at the table and began to eat slowly.

"You guys really went for it when you had a chance to make money!"

"Of course."

Su Wenhao pursed his lips, looking every bit the seasoned veteran.

"We brothers may look glamorous on the surface, but it's actually quite difficult for us to earn any real money. If we really left home, who knows what we'd be able to accomplish?"

He reached out and poked at the breakfast in front of her.

"I'll wait. You eat first, don't starve yourself."

Jiang Zhiyu hurriedly ate two steamed buns and drank half a bowl of soy milk before Su Wenhao dragged her onto the motorcycle.

At the entrance of the usual spot, the three motorcycles were panting heavily.

Jason leaned against the hood of his car and spotted her immediately.

"Little cousin."

He grinned.

"I found you a real one today."

Jiang Zhiyu tilted her head.

"What real stuff?"

"A famous meteorite hunter in the southwestern desert."

Jason reached out and touched his chin.

"This guy has a much larger quantity of meteorites than any of those shop owners who sit in their stores waiting for their goods to arrive. Shall we go take a look?"

Jiang Zhiyu nodded.

"Sure. I don't have any other plans today anyway."

As soon as the five motorcycles started, there was another roar, kicking up a trail of gray smoke, as they roared and charged toward the outskirts of the city.

That meteorite hunter lives in a really far place.

I cycled from the city center until the buildings on both sides of the road became increasingly sparse, finally turning onto a dirt road lined with seemingly endless large farms on both sides. Rows of cornfields stretched out, rustling loudly in the wind.

When they arrived at their destination, Jiang Zhiyu got out of the car and rubbed her buttocks.

The farmer's son came out to greet them. He was a young man in his late twenties, with tanned skin and bright eyes.

He knew Jason, and the first thing he did when they met was give him a bear hug.

"This is my cousin who came from China."

Jason stepped aside, making way for Jiang Zhiyu.

"She's a bit knowledgeable about unusual stones, and I was thinking of having her come over and see your treasure."

The meteorite hunter looked Jiang Zhiyu up and down, but didn't say anything. He then raised his hand and led her towards the warehouse.

As soon as Jiang Zhiyu entered the warehouse, she took a breath.

The warehouse is very large.

Rows and rows of wooden shelves stretched from one end to the other, each shelf displaying meteorites of all sizes. Some were shiny black, some had a faint metallic sheen, and some had surfaces that looked as if they had been burned and formed a honeycomb pattern.

"These are mine."

The farmer's son walked with his hands behind his back to the nearest row of shelves, looking very proud.

"You could say I have the largest collection of meteorite hunters. Luck is a strange thing; I don't know why, but I never come back empty-handed from my trips."

Jiang Zhiyu was also impressed.

She gave him a thumbs up.

"sharp."

Jason pulled a few of his buddies aside and started chatting about industry gossip. Taking advantage of this lull, Jiang Zhiyu slowly strolled deeper into the warehouse.

The thought arises.

Seventeen.

"Get to work."

Seventeen's wings suddenly spread open with a "whoosh".

"Wow, host."

It circled the nearest fist-sized meteorite.

"That's too much."

"Stop talking nonsense and help me choose."

Jiang Zhiyu walked forward along the shelf, her fingers lightly tracing patterns on several stones.

Seventeen brushed along her fingertips, one stroke at a time.

"This piece."

It stopped in front of a dark red meteorite.

"It doesn't have much energy, but it'll be valuable for research if you bring it back to China. You can see traces of asteroid elements inside."

Jiang Zhiyu nodded.

"Write it down."

"This piece."

Seventeen flew a few more steps forward.

"Similar to the previous one, the host's domestic scientists should like it."

"This one is fine too."

As she walked and picked through the selections, Seventeen quickly identified four or five pieces in her mind.

The deeper they went into the warehouse, the more excited Seventeen became, her wings flapping so fast they left little afterimages.

"Wow, this meteorite is really good."

It circled once in mid-air.

"Host, let me make this clear first. There are some that I can't actually determine have research value for; I'm just picking them for you based on the current research foundation in your country. As for the rest, that depends on whether the space itself is willing to absorb them."

Jiang Zhiyu took a few more steps forward along the shelf.

She asked herself a question.

"Can you tell what it wants to eat?"

"That's hard to say. It's probably become too spoiled by now."

Seventeen little wings spread out.

"I've never really known what he eats."

Jiang Zhiyu smiled and didn't ask any further questions.

Her mental energy swept across the shelves, layer by layer. If the space showed interest in any particular area, her fingertips would tremble slightly. But after she had walked through most of the warehouse, there was still no movement at her fingertips.

Jiang Zhiyu didn't force the issue and, based on her own taste, picked out a few more pieces that looked pleasing to the eye.

After walking around, the meteorites she had moved from the shelf had piled up to half the ground.

The meteorite hunter turned his head, looked at the pile on the ground, and his eye twitched.

He moved closer discreetly and lowered his voice.

"Little girl."

He asked tentatively.

"What do you need so many meteorites for?"

Jason, with his sharp ears, heard this and immediately moved to stand between the two of them.

"Hey buddy."

He spread his arms out.

"My cousin comes from a wealthy family. She loves these strange and unusual stones, and she enjoys displaying them around the house. Forget meteorites, she collects anything that grows from cracks in rocks, is fished out of lakes, or broken off from caves—as long as it looks interesting, she'll fill a whole room with them."

He raised an eyebrow.

"The tastes of the wealthy are truly beyond the comprehension of ordinary people like us."

The meteorite hunter laughed at his words.

His suspicions dissipated.

The fact that the little girl liked these strange things actually relieved him. He knew these stones were closely monitored by the relevant departments of this country; no matter how many he collected, they couldn't leave the country. In the end, they would just be displayed as toys in a private warehouse.

He waved his hand deftly.

"Fine, it's all yours."
