Zerg: The female warrior's male master is acting strangely!

Chapter 115: 1st place: 4th class, 3.45 points

An hour later, all the classes in the lower grades finished their running tests, and the noise on the playground gradually subsided.

The head instructor's voice rang out again from all directions: "The sprint will begin in ten minutes. The top three finishers from each class, begin preparing. Assemble at the starting line in eight minutes!"

As soon as the words were spoken, the little female insects on the grass erupted in chaos.

They all gathered around the top three students in their class, offering encouragement and cheers...

In Class Four, Heroi was surrounded in the center. He reached out and grasped the small hands of Ritz and Amumu respectively, saying, "We can definitely do it!"

Ritz smiled somewhat embarrassedly, his voice a little nervous: "I'll try my best not to hold you back."

Amumu nodded and said, "I will try my best to run."

Everyone rushed over to cheer Yi Yi on. Amidst the cheers, Ayu squeezed through the edge of the swarm, handed them three bottles of water, and said, "Keep it up."

Soon, the top three students from each class entered the track in an orderly fashion. One by one, the little female insects stood on the starting line, with neat white lines extending from their feet.

Ayou, the little female insect from Class 3 who had won first place for two consecutive years, stood at the very edge of the line. He turned his head to look at Heroyi, slightly raised his chin, and his voice carried an excitement that came from aroused competitive spirit:

"Even though you were two seconds faster than me just now, I will not lose to you this time."

Holoiyi was not discouraged at all: "I won't lose to you either."

Ah-Yu seemed to have not seen such a challenging opponent in a long time, and couldn't help but laugh, "Alright, I won't go easy on you."

"I don't need you to go easy on me."

As soon as the words were spoken, the referee's whistle pierced the air sharply, and more than twenty small female insects rushed out at the same time.

The sides of the track erupted in cheers. The little female insects clenched their fists and waved them frantically, and a tidal wave of neat, childish shouts of "Go! Go!" rose up...

After crossing the starting line, Heroiyi's feet landed firmly, stabilizing his center of gravity instantly. Unlike the other little female insects who exerted all their strength, he maintained his own rhythm, each step steady and solid.

Ayou, on the other hand, rushed to the front like an arrow, his steps were neat and swift, and he left most of his opponents half a body length behind almost the instant he started.

The cheers from both sides of the track rose higher and higher. The slender female insects stood on the grass, clenching their fists and waving them frantically. Even the instructors' eyes were unconsciously drawn to the leading figure...

In the first lap, Ayou took the lead, with Heroiyi close behind, the two insects separated by less than three body lengths, while the other small female insects were half a meter behind them.

In the second lap, Herroy's pace remained unchanged, but Ayou's speed increased slightly, as if testing whether the opponents behind him could keep up.

Outside the track, the little female insects of Class Four were staring intently at that round figure. They didn't even dare to breathe, for fear of disturbing the insects on the track.

Halfway through the third lap, Herroy's pace suddenly changed.

He lowered his center of gravity slightly, and his pace noticeably quickened, as if releasing some kind of long-accumulated power.

Out of the corner of his eye, Ayou caught sight of a figure approaching from his side and rear. His pupils contracted slightly. He gritted his teeth and put in even more effort, but the round figure continued to close the distance little by little, like a wave pushed forward by the wind, unstoppable by anything.

The cheers from the sidelines suddenly rose a notch, and some of the little female insects watching were so excited that they jumped up.

On the final lap, the sun made the track slightly hot, and a breeze blew in from the side, ruffling the wisps of hair on Heroi's forehead and his loose training clothes. He gritted his teeth and, relying on instinct, sprinted forward in the last hundred meters!

At that moment, Ayou was less than three steps in front of him.

Two seconds later, they were in sync and reached the crucial moment of crossing the finish line!

Heroyi almost stepped across the white line side by side with Ayou. Both of them rushed forward several steps before they regained their balance, bending over and panting heavily, as if a ball of fire was burning in their chests.

The robotic insect accurately detected the speed of each insect, and the rankings popped up on the screen one by one:

First place: Heroiyi from Class 4, 3.45 points

Second place: Ayou from Class 3, 3.46 points

Third place: Bandtiz, 3.50 points

Fourth place: Bennett, 3.52 points

......

For a moment, the little female insects in Class Four were stunned, and then they cheered as if a pot had exploded.

Ayu was the first to jump up, shouting, "Yi Yi won!"

Morty was clapping enthusiastically beside her, her eyes even reddening.

Ritz stood on the edge of the finish line, smiling more happily than anyone else, even though he had only come in fourth place.

Ayou was stunned. He stared in disbelief at the number on the timer—one second, just one second short.

But he quickly recovered and had to turn his head to give Heroie a second look. What Ayou found unbelievable was that he had actually lost to a short and fat female insect (exceeding the standard size and weight for a female insect is considered obese)?

After catching his breath, Heroy looked up at the ranking on the timer and was instantly overjoyed.

But while I was pleasantly surprised, I was also a little scared. Luckily, I didn't lose, otherwise all my training over the past two months would have been for nothing!

However, Ayou from Class 3 was really good, and he almost couldn't catch up with him.

Heroyi took the water Ayu handed her and drank a sip. Before she could even thank him, Ayu had already come over.

"Congratulations, I didn't know you had this much skill."

"You're pretty good too," said Heroiyi. "I almost couldn't outrun you."

"Is that so..." Ayou shook his head with a slightly bitter smile. It was a real pity that he only got second place this time, and his prize money was almost a third less.

On the high platform, the school leader stood with a microphone: "Attention all students! Instructors, please gather your classes into lines so we can all congratulate the top three students in the sprint race on coming up to receive their awards!"

In an instant, the little female insects on the playground gathered together at the instructor's gesture, and then the instructor led them to an open area, where they lined up in neat rows according to their classes...

The top three winners walked up to the platform one after another. When Herroyi walked up, she could feel her calves trembling slightly, but she couldn't suppress the smile on her face.

The school leaders stood on the stage, their gaze sweeping over the upturned faces below. Their voices, amplified several times over the loudspeakers, echoed across the afternoon playground: "Congratulations to the first-place winner of this sprint competition—Heroiyi!"

"Let's all give him a round of applause!"

Applause surged like a tide, especially from Class Four, whose slender female insects clapped their hands vigorously, some even standing on tiptoe.

Standing on the stage, looking at the smiling faces below, Heroyi suddenly understood why his father wanted him to win first place!
