His physiological preference

Chapter 139 Green Hat

The light filtering through the curtains was a pale gray. She turned over and saw the thermos on the bedside table.

He glanced at the sofa again. Qin Yuzheng was curled up on the sofa. The man, who was over 1.8 meters tall, was curled up on the sofa with his long legs on the armrest. He looked uncomfortable, but he was sleeping soundly.

Yang Zhiyan didn't wake him. She quietly sat up in bed, picked up the thermos, and unscrewed the lid. The top layer contained wontons, and the bottom layer contained soup, which were placed separately. Even after so long, the wontons were still warm.

After washing up, Yang Zhiyan poured the wontons into the soup, picked up a spoon, and took a bite.

The wonton wrappers are thin, the filling is fresh, and the shrimp meat is springy and bouncy.

It wasn't as good as when it was fresh out of the pot, but it was alright. As she ate, tears started falling.

I don't know why, but I just couldn't control it, and tears just started flowing.

Qin Yuzheng woke up. He saw Yang Zhiyan silently wiping away her tears.

He sprang up from the sofa, almost falling off in the process. "Baby, what's wrong?"

He strode over and was horrified to see her stuffing wontons into her mouth while crying.

"Is it not tasty? If it's not tasty, then don't eat it..."

Qin Yuzheng reached out to take her bowl, but Yang Zhiyan dodged it slightly. "No, it's quite delicious."

Her voice was choked with sobs and muffled.

"Then why are you crying?"

Yang Zhiyan looked down at the wontons in her bowl. "Leave it to me. If your eyes want to cry, what does it have to do with me?"

Qin Yuzheng felt helpless looking at her self-righteous attitude.

He crouched down, looked up at her, and said, "Baby, if there's anything you need to tell me, okay?"

Yang Zhiyan nodded with tears in her eyes, then scooped up another wonton and stuffed it into her mouth.

While Qin Yuzheng went to the bathroom to wash up, Yang Zhiyan finished the rest of the wontons.

She placed the bowl on the bedside table, leaned against the pillows, and stared blankly at the ceiling for a while.

When Qin Yuzheng came out, his bangs were hanging down in front of his forehead.

He sat down and said, "Baby, you can say whatever you want. Whether or not to have the baby is your decision, and I respect whatever you decide."

Yang Zhiyan looked at him. "So, what are your thoughts?"

"My thoughts are not important; what matters is your thoughts."

Yang Zhiyan bit her lip. "You mean you have no share in this child?"

Qin Yuzheng quickly shook his head. "That's not what I meant. I meant that whether you decide to stay or not, I will support you and respect your decision."

Yang Zhiyan looked at him, "So if I decide I don't want it, are you going to blame everything on me? And tell everyone it was me who didn't want it?"

Qin Yuzheng grasped her hand. "Of course not. You make the decision, and I'll handle the rest. Make whatever decision you want, and leave the rest to me."

Yang Zhiyan was silent for a moment, then asked, "What if I don't want to raise the baby?"

"We can hire a nanny, and I'll take care of the baby after get off work in the evening," Qin Yuzheng said seriously, not perfunctorily.

Yang Zhiyan looked down at her stomach, her hand on the blanket, her fingers curling slightly.

She had actually thought it through while eating the wontons. They were already married, and with a family like the Qin's, it was impossible for them not to have children.

Most importantly, Qin Yuzheng has always treated her very well. How could she bear to abort their child?

Last night was just a momentary inability to accept it.

"I've decided to give birth," Yang Zhiyan said.

Qin Yuzheng's eyes lit up. He reached out and pulled her into his arms, embracing her.

"Baby, thank you."

Qin Yuzheng didn't say anything more, but he tightened his arms around her, rested his chin on her head, and felt his heart pounding in his chest.

Qin Yuzheng said in his heart, "Thank you for coming into my life. With her, I will be happy for the rest of my life."

Marrying the person you love is a great blessing in life, and even if she acts like a tyrant, he will be happy to accept it.

Moreover, Yan Yan is so well-educated, polite, and exceptionally beautiful.

When the doctor came to check on her, Yang Zhiyan had already recovered her normal complexion.

The doctor looked at the report, nodded, and said, "It's not a big problem. You can be discharged tomorrow."

Qin Yuzheng saw the doctor out. Back in the ward, he took out his phone and dialed Grandma Qin's number.

The phone rang twice before she answered, her voice filled with doubt.

"Ah Zheng? Calling so early..."

"Grandma, Yan Yan is pregnant."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone. Then the voice was full of surprise.

"Zhiyan is pregnant?" Her voice rose a half-tone, tinged with barely suppressed laughter. "Really? Are you sure?"

"Sure."

"Good, good, good..." Grandma Qin said several times, "Zhiyan is truly our family's lucky star. Where are you now? I'll come see her right away..."

Qin Yuzheng interrupted her, "Grandma, don't make such a fuss, or you'll scare Yan Yan. Let's talk about it after things have calmed down a bit."

Grandma Qin remained silent for a while on the other end, seemingly weighing something.

"Okay, then take good care of her. Tell me what she wants to eat, and I'll have the kitchen prepare it and send it over."

Qin Yuzheng said, "No need, Aunt Li will make what Yan Yan likes to eat."

Grandma Qin gave some more instructions.

Qin Yuzheng hung up the phone. Grandma Qin stood in front of the phone, her hand holding the receiver still trembling slightly.

She walked to the altar in the main room, where a black and white photograph of Old Master Qin was displayed.

Grandma Qin walked over, lit an incense stick, and placed it in the incense burner. "Old Qin," she said, her voice filled with undisguised joy.

"Did you hear that? You're about to have a great-grandson." She stared at the photo for a long time, then turned and walked out of the main room. She picked up the phone, dialed the first number, then the second. Grandma Qin's phone rang non-stop all morning.

People used to secretly mock her for not having a great-grandchild at her age. They even said there was something wrong with the Qin family's ancestral graves. Otherwise, how could such an outstanding grandson be so inadequate?

Now she can refute him with a clear conscience.

The news spread faster than Qin Yuzheng had anticipated.

Mo Yunyun was getting a facial at the beauty salon when her phone lit up. It was a message from a friend: "Did you know Qin Yuzheng's girlfriend is pregnant?"

Mo Yunyun stared at those words for a few seconds, then flipped her phone over and placed it face down on the table before closing her eyes.

The beautician asked her if the pressure was enough, and she hummed in response.

The same thought kept replaying in her mind: Yang Zhiyan cheated on her?

Isn't Qin Yuzheng incompetent?

They've been married for two years, and he's never touched her. How could he possibly get a woman pregnant?

Unless... unless that person isn't his. A thought slowly surfaced in Mo Yunyun's mind.

What other design was she planning? She didn't even have to lift a finger. Yang Zhiyan is incredibly stupid.

It's ridiculous enough to cuckold someone like Qin Yuzheng, let alone expect him to raise the child? Yang Zhiyan is really courting death.

She opened her eyes, picked up her phone, looked at the message on the screen, and a slow smile curved her lips. She didn't reply.

After deciding to give birth, Yang Zhiyan's mindset actually calmed down.

She started eating, sleeping, and watching short videos on her phone normally, occasionally touching her stomach and saying a few words to it that no one could hear.

Qin Yuzheng was completely panicked.
