"Buddha, what do you mean by this?" Sun Wukong looked at the enraged Shakyamuni with astonishment. "I, Old Sun, flew all the way to the pillar at the ends of the earth, I definitely escaped your palm, are you trying to deny it?"

He cautiously took a few steps back, and Shakyamuni looked at Sun Wukong with a forced smile, slowly withdrawing his hand.

Sun Wukong stared blankly at the eight familiar characters and the faint smell of urine emanating from them.

He was greatly shocked and suddenly realized that the world he had just been in was just a Buddhist illusion created by the Buddha in his palm.

"Hehe." Sun Wukong scratched his head and chuckled sheepishly. "Buddha, how about we have another match?"

Sun Wukong's eyes darted around. His path was blocked by Tathagata. If he wanted to save his master, he absolutely couldn't get around this person!

"What are you talking about!" Shakyamuni sneered. "That audacious monkey has stirred up trouble in the Heavenly Palace. This humble monk, on the orders of the Great Heavenly Venerable, has come to suppress you!"

As he thrust out his palm, Sun Wukong felt as if the entire world had collapsed upon him, terrifying him to the point of losing his soul. He tried to escape on his somersault cloud, but no matter which direction he went, he could not escape the shadow above his head.

The magical power in his palm surged, and the Buddhist kingdom within it began to shrink inward. Boundless Buddhist light locked down the surrounding space, leaving Sun Wukong as invisible as a mosquito in the world.

The Buddha's gaze was calm. Without further delay, he suddenly flipped his right hand inward, and the vast power of Buddhist teachings shook the universe.

With a deafening roar, an irresistible and immense force swept in, directly shoving Sun Wukong out of the South Heavenly Gate.

He stretched out his five fingers in mid-air, and five divine lights flew out. The divine lights split into five fundamental elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, which fell straight down to the lower realm.

Suddenly, a crack appeared in the barrier of the Nine Provinces, and the divine light landed and transformed into five majestic peaks that were connected in a row. The towering mountains crashed down from the heavens and pressed heavily on Sun Wukong's body.

The earth trembled, the rocks roared, and Sun Wukong was pressed between two mountains. He struggled to use his physical strength and transformation abilities, causing the entire mountain to sway slightly and the peaks to appear as if they were about to crack. He struggled to barely stick his head out, and his roar echoed throughout the mountains.

"唳——"

A golden-winged roc with wings like clouds hanging from the sky landed on the Five Elements Mountain. Its beak, as hard as divine iron, gently pecked at Sun Wukong, making him dizzy and disoriented.

A golden feather fell from his body, instantly grew larger, and stuck directly into the Five Finger Mountain, with innate divine runes appearing on it—"Suppress!"

Seeing Sun Wukong's dazed expression and utter helplessness, the Golden-Winged Roc tilted its head: "Monkey, focus on your cultivation. Your master will be alright!"

Sun Wukong's eyes gradually brightened, and just as he was about to speak, a clear and melodious cry rang out, and the divine bird had vanished from his sight.

He felt a continuous flow of metallic energy flowing into his body from the feather, and flames rose from his heart. The two types of energy constantly clashed, causing his physical strength to slowly increase.

The Five Elements Mountain gathers the surrounding spiritual energy, causing countless plants and trees to grow rapidly, as if the mountain had stood there for tens of thousands of years.

Sun Wukong's eyes were filled with sorrow; he wondered how his master was doing.

……

heaven.

The golden light landed and transformed into a haughty-looking man. He patted the shoulder of Shakyamuni, who had returned to his normal form: "Nephew, your uncle helped you out. No need to thank me!"

The Buddha chuckled softly, displaying his ability to bend and stretch: "Thank you, Uncle."

Jin Peng stared at him in astonishment. As the Buddha's mother, his elder brother was indeed the man's uncle according to seniority, but Shakyamuni had never addressed him that way.

"Weasel, what do you mean?" Jin Peng immediately became alert; this guy was definitely up to no good.

"This is the Heavenly Court, what can this humble monk do?" Shakyamuni still wore a warm smile on his face.

Jin Peng's eyes darted around. They were standing in front of the Pixiang Hall. A look of understanding flashed in his eyes. This monk must be scared!

Indeed, Buddhism is in big trouble these days and can't afford to get involved in anything else.

"Uncle, could you please plead for me later?" Shakyamuni whispered.

Jin Peng pushed him away: "You were taught by the Three Pure Ones, don't let the two Western masters marinate you."

How come you've become so shameless after all these years!

Shakyamuni lowered his eyes slightly, realizing he had no choice but to do so; this time, he feared he might have to sacrifice half of Mount Sumeru.

"Let's go, let's go pay our respects to our master first."

"This humble monk has always admired the Great Celestial Venerable and naturally wishes to pay my respects." Shakyamuni changed his words without making a sound, patted his clean and wrinkle-free robe, and followed closely behind.

As the two entered the hall, they saw the Bodhi Saint kneeling on the ground, repeatedly expressing his gratitude: "Your subject thanks the Great Heavenly Venerable for showing mercy and sparing Wukong's life."

"Your Majesty's great kindness is deeply appreciated by me, and I will always remember it."

He kept praising them, but Haotian listened without taking it to heart. However, he gave Sanqing a deep look and thought, "Your precious disciple is starting to 'transform into Zhunti'!"

"Your subject pays homage to the Great Heavenly Venerable. May Your Majesty and Her Majesty enjoy eternal bliss and boundless longevity. Your subject has been ordered to suppress the demon monkey and has come to report back." Without saying a word, Shakyamuni knelt down on the ground.

"Rise."

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Shakyamuni bowed to both sides again. "Duobao greets Master, my two senior uncles, and my senior uncle Nuwa."

Tongtian's eyelashes trembled slightly. This disciple called himself Duobao...

Laozi Yuanshi sighed. How could they not know what Duobao's purpose was when he called himself that? He wanted to help stop His Majesty from making an exorbitant demand later.

But this isn't something they can decide!

Bodhi, it's all because of this fool that Duobao has been dragged down to this state.

Haotian, having observed the tense situation, smiled gently: "The Western Buddha has rendered meritorious service in suppressing the demon monkey. Taibai, go and prepare the banquet; I am about to convene the An Tian Conference."

"Yes." Venus withdrew and quickly ordered the celestial maidens to get moving.

The saints and immortals understood that His Majesty was about to begin settling accounts—literally settling accounts.

……

Before long, a group of celestial maidens served up delicious dishes and various spiritual fruits, and the immortals took their seats again.

Haotian took a sip of the fine wine, glanced around, and Taibai Jinxing immediately understood. Just as he was about to speak, Shakyamuni stood up.

He spoke respectfully and humbled himself greatly: "I was unable to attend the previous Peach Banquet and was filled with trepidation. I offer you this precious treasure and hope Your Majesty will forgive me."

The immortals in the hall glanced at him. This guy was really shameless. His Majesty hadn't even invited him.

He took something out of his sleeve and presented it with both hands. The immortals saw a ball of golden light recede, gradually revealing its true form.

It is a jade and gold hairpin about seven inches long. The hairpin shaft is warm and smooth, without any sharp edges. The hairpin body is engraved with layers of pavilions and peaks. In the depths of the pattern, there are fine flowing lights that slowly move, as if there are endless objects lurking in it. The palace has a bit of the majesty of the heavenly palace.

The hairpin is inlaid with a piece of warm chalcedony the size of a goose egg, which is clear and transparent. Countless illusory images of objects float up inside the chalcedony, appearing and disappearing in an instant. When viewed in stillness, it returns to a clear and bright state, as if the myriad phenomena just now were just an illusion.

"A top-grade innate spiritual treasure!" someone exclaimed, while others looked down on it; the latter was naturally Long Ji.

On the imperial throne, Yaochi leaned back slightly, her voice soft and languid: "You didn't wash your hands just now, did you?"
