Transmigrating into Haotian, ruling the Three Pure Ones and pacifying the primordial world.
Chapter 430 Haotian: Follow my script, or I'll flatten you.
As Shakyamuni's voice fell, boundless Buddhist light spread out, and Sun Wukong felt a warm sensation all over his body. The scarlet in his eyes gradually faded, and he felt as if he had been reborn!
"Who are you?" Sun Wukong pointed his golden cudgel horizontally, his eyes filled with murderous intent as he looked at his "master" still suffering above the Hall of Fragrant Breeze.
"This humble monk is Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Many Treasures Tathagata." Boundless Zen atmosphere permeated the air, yet Sun Wukong's eyes remained firm. A hint of appreciation flashed in Shakyamuni's eyes; he truly was a disciple carefully trained by a sage.
Inside the Pixiang Hall, Tongtian's eyelids twitched slightly—Duobao.
Bodhi looked at Jieyin with a mournful face, "Senior brother, we're going bankrupt!"
Jieyin glanced at the Three Pure Ones out of the corner of his eye, hoping that these three senior brothers would show mercy for Duobao's sake.
"Wukong, stop." Shakyamuni's eyes were compassionate, as if he were looking at an ignorant child.
"Make the Heavenly Emperor release my master!" Sun Wukong bared his teeth, but dared not speak too harshly. "Why is the Heavenly Emperor treating my master like this? Just because he's the Heavenly Emperor?"
Shakyamuni twitched the corner of his mouth slightly: "Indeed, just because His Majesty is the Heavenly Emperor, he can punish any cultivator in the Three Realms. Didn't the Bodhi Saint tell you that?"
"Master told me to be more respectful in front of the Heavenly Emperor." Sun Wukong was a little impatient. "Over the years, I've inquired in the prehistoric world and everyone says that the Heavenly Emperor has cultivated since childhood and has endured 1,750 kalpas, each of which lasts for 129,600 years."
"I, Old Sun, am just young. One day I'll surpass him!"
just you?
Shakyamuni's mouth twitched. The monkey taught by the Bodhi saint had become so arrogant. Did he even realize it?
Inside the Hall of Fragrant Breeze, the immortals also looked at Bodhi with meaningful expressions.
"What you say is merely something passed down from the primordial era. Your foundation is shallow, you have only just transcended the mortal realm, and you do not yet understand the depths of the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth. Yet you dare to utter such arrogant words." Buddha shook his head and cupped his hands in the direction of the Hall of Fragrant Clothes.
"The number of tribulations that the Great Celestial Venerable has gone through is naturally not as few as you say. 1,750 tribulations is only what the Great Celestial Venerable experienced when he opened up the three thousand worlds."
The Buddha said solemnly, "Wukong, the existence of this primordial world today, and the opportunity to become the Eternal True Realm, is entirely due to the Great Heavenly Venerable. Not to mention you or your master, even my master and senior uncle wouldn't dare say they could surpass the Great Heavenly Venerable!"
The immortals' eyes flickered slightly; this guy was flattering the Great Celestial Venerable!
The Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, and Bodhi all frowned; they truly lacked confidence.
Haotian chuckled, his lips moved slightly, and his voice carried on the sound.
"Stop talking nonsense. I want to watch a show. You'd better follow the script I've written, or I'll flatten you."
Upon hearing the sudden sound beside him, accompanied by the Emperor's might, Shakyamuni's body trembled, and a bitter smile flashed in his eyes.
Seeing Sun Wukong about to charge forward with his staff, Buddha sighed inwardly, but his expression turned serious: "Sun Wukong, you have wreaked havoc in the Heavenly Court, and your crime is unforgivable. This humble monk has come to subdue you on the orders of the Great Heavenly Venerable."
"But considering your filial piety towards the Bodhi Saint, this humble monk will make a bet with you. If you can escape from my grasp, I will enter the Pixiang Hall to plead for the Bodhi Saint."
"Is this really true?" Sun Wukong's face lit up with joy.
"As the master of Buddhism, I would never lie to you!" The Buddha glanced at the Hall of Fragrant Incense without leaving a trace. In his eyes, the entire main hall became transparent, clearly because His Majesty wanted to watch a show.
"Then come on, don't say I'm bullying you, my somersault cloud is super fast." Sun Wukong puffed out his chest, but when he saw that his master was still hanging on the roof of the hall, he couldn't help but slump down.
Master, I, Old Sun, will be able to rescue you soon!
As Shakyamuni listened to Sun Wukong's wild words, he smiled calmly, and his body slowly expanded, becoming indestructible and reaching the size of the entire Pixiang Hall.
He gently extended his right hand. At first, his palm was shaped like a lotus leaf, only about a foot in size. As the Buddhist teachings subtly activated, golden light emanated from his palm, and a Buddhist kingdom quietly took shape within his palm.
To outsiders, it appears as a Buddha's palm, but to those within it lies a complete world.
Endless Buddhist light enveloped the universe, palm lines transformed into mountains and rivers, and pagodas, Zen forests, and lotus ponds appeared in the void, with the faint sound of Buddhist chants echoing, forming an independent little world that was isolated from the three realms.
Sun Wukong rolled his eyes, but instead of putting the golden cudgel into his ear, he kept it in his hand. He examined it carefully for a moment, but it was still just an ordinary palm. Buddha smiled and nodded at him, which reassured him a little.
"I, Old Sun, am off!" He somersaulted, activated his somersault cloud, transformed into a golden light, and rushed into it.
"Excellent, excellent." In the Hall of Fragrant Breeze, Haotian exclaimed in admiration, "Truly worthy of being a disciple carefully trained by Senior Brother Sanqing."
This world is even larger than the Lesser Thousand Worlds, and most importantly, it bears the traces of "Proving the Dao in a Dream," indicating that it was once the direct disciple of the Intercepting Sect.
Tongtian looked proud, and Laozi Yuanshi nodded secretly.
Amitabha Buddha, however, looked on with regret. This is truly the boundless power of Buddhism. If only Duobao had been a true Buddhist disciple, not a half-hearted monk!
A divine light shone in Longji's eyes, and a similar Daoist aura surged from his body. He murmured, "The Ten Thousand Immortals Formation combined with 'Proving the Dao in Dreams' opens up the Hengsha World, one after another, finally enveloping it with the laws of space—a brilliant idea!"
Jin Peng's eyes were solemn. No wonder Master asked me to attain enlightenment before Shakyamuni.
With the dedicated guidance of his senior uncle Sanqing, and having received the inheritance of the two saints Jieyin and Bodhi, he has mastered the "Sixteen-Foot Golden Body," and his physical body is probably no less than that of the Wu Clan. He can also integrate "Proving the Dao in Dreams" with the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation, truly mastering both Buddhism and Taoism.
All eyes were on the palm of Shakyamuni, where Sun Wukong soared through the clouds countless times, flying for hundreds of millions of miles. He felt that the road ahead was vast and boundless, with endless seas of clouds, completely unaware that he was trapped in the Buddhist illusion created by the Tathagata.
Shakyamuni stood serenely on the clouds, his wise eyes observing everything in his palm, allowing Sun Wukong to roam freely. The Buddhist kingdom's territory extended endlessly with his somersault cloud, without any boundaries.
Before long, Wukong saw five giant, fleshy red pillars soaring into the sky, shrouded in a faint blue aura. He was overjoyed: "Master said that there are five pillars in the world. I, Old Sun, have actually come to the end of the world."
He turned around and saw only a vast sea of clouds. He roared, "Buddha, you have lost!"
He plucked a hair from his head and turned it into ink, writing "The Great Sage Equal to Heaven was here" on the central fleshy pillar. Just as he was about to turn his cloud around and return, his eyes suddenly lit up, and he had a wicked idea.
Shakyamuni smiled, but he was somewhat puzzled. What did this monkey want to do?
Inside the Pixiang Palace, Haotian's hand holding the jade cup trembled. Yaochi turned her head and wondered why her senior brother had suddenly started laughing.
The next instant, a deafening laugh erupted from the Pixiang Hall, seemingly capable of shattering the dome. Sun Wukong left a mark under a few words.
Haotian laughed so hard that the wine in his jade cup spilled out. "It's so great to be the Heavenly Emperor. We can even watch a show live!"
The Three Pure Ones' faces were ashen. Sun Wukong was already a Great Luo Golden Immortal, and had long since abstained from grains. Why would he have such a need? This monkey was doing it on purpose.
Nuwa and Bodhi looked embarrassed; who could have imagined such a thing would happen!
Shakyamuni's face flushed red, his eyes filled with rage. Seeing Sun Wukong fly out of his palm, he gritted his teeth and said, "Monkey, get out of my sight!"
