Lin An looked at her quiet, standing figure, his heart still pounding.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but didn't know what to say.

The stairwell remained quiet for a long time.

Then Huo Nianci asked, "Is Xiao Jingshu pretty?"

Lin An was stunned for a second: "Huh?"

"I'm asking you, is Xiao Jingshu pretty?"

"She's not as pretty as you."

Lin An wasn't lying at all when he said this, after all, Huo Nianci's beauty and bad temper were widely known.

Xiao Jingshu was at best quiet and charming, but she couldn't compare to Huo Nianci's porcelain doll-like face.

"What about Liu Na?" Huo Nianci then asked.

"I'm not as good-looking as you," Lin An replied again.

"Then why did you argue with them for so long?"

"It wasn't that I wanted to cause trouble," Lin An felt extremely wronged. "The two of them suddenly rushed over and each grabbed one of my arms. I couldn't shake them off at all..."

"Then why not just leave?"

"I was about to leave, but before I could, you suddenly appeared at the door..."

Hearing his urgent explanation, Huo Nianci's possessiveness subsided considerably.

Then she slowly said, "An'an, but I'm still so scared."

Lin An blinked and asked, "What are you afraid of?"

"You're so handsome," Huo Nianci said, stroking his face with her slightly cold hand. "So many girls like you, I really feel insecure."

"I'm afraid An'an will leave me, what should I do?"

Looking into her eyes and feeling her slightly cold hands, Lin An said, "You're overthinking it. Those two are just isolated cases."

"And I will never leave you."

"Really?"

"It's more real than gold," Lin An said with unwavering determination.

No sooner had he finished speaking than Huo Nianci suddenly moved.

She took a big step forward and pushed him on the shoulder.

Caught off guard, Lin An fell backward, his back hitting the floor with a thud.

Before he could even cry out in pain, Huo Nianci had already pressed her entire body against him.

She straddled his waist, her knees on either side of his body, leaning down, her loose hair brushing against his face.

Lin An smelled a faint fragrance, which was undoubtedly Huo Nianci's body odor.

At the same time, he also sensed countless soft things pressing down on him, along with the weight of Huo Nianci's body.

The next second, Huo Nianci lowered her head and pressed her lips to his cheek.

Her lips were soft, and when they touched his cheek, he could feel her sucking slightly.

When she loosened her grip, she felt a slight stinging sensation in that spot, followed by a warm feeling.

Then the right cheek.

The same action was performed: a forceful inhale followed by a release.

Next was his forehead, then his chin, the left side of his neck, the right side of his neck, the area next to his Adam's apple, the skin above his collarbone, and his hands.

She pressed his hands to the floor and leaned down to kiss the back of each hand.

Then, moving upwards along the wrist, two shallow marks were left on the inside of the forearm.

Lin An lay on his back on the floor, limbs outstretched, having completely given up struggling.

He can't move, and he's too lazy to move.

Huo Nianci's weight wasn't heavy on him; she was thin and light, but her earnestness made it impossible for anyone to push her away.

After kissing each spot, she would tilt her head to examine the result before moving on to the next spot.

"What are you doing..." Lin An looked at the ceiling, his voice carrying a calm, resigned tone.

"Stamp it," Huo Nianci said without looking up, her lips pressing against a patch of skin on the side of his chin. "I'll put my mark on all these places so no one will dare touch you."

Lin An was already used to it: "Okay."

Afterwards, Huo Nianci straightened up and looked down at her "work".

Lin An's cheeks, forehead, chin, neck, collarbone, back of hands, and inner forearms.

There were a dozen or so red marks of varying shades scattered around.

"Now the whole school knows you're taken."

Fortunately, it's already taken.

"It doesn't have an owner," Lin An thought.

He lay on the floor, raised one arm to look at the red, round mark on the inside of his forearm, and then reached down to touch his neck.

A slight stinging sensation came from my fingertips when they touched the skin that had been repeatedly sucked.

"How can I face anyone now..." he muttered to himself.

"That's it!" Huo Nianci patted his face, then stood up from him, and reached out to pull him up from the ground.

Just then, the school bell rang.

Lin An pointed towards the corridor: "The school bell rang, can I go back to class now?"

"Wait a minute," Huo Nianci stopped him, bent down and took out her phone from her pocket, and dialed a number.

Lin An watched as she put the phone to her ear and stood in the stairwell waiting for the call to connect.

The phone rang four or five times before being answered. Huo Nianci said into the receiver, "Send four bodyguards over, men only."

"Now, immediately, get to the fire escape stairwell on the fifth floor of the Economics and Management Building."

She hung up the phone as soon as she finished speaking.

"Who did you call?" Lin An asked.

"My on-campus private bodyguard," Huo Nianci said, putting her phone back in her pocket.

Private bodyguards stationed on campus?

Lin An was stunned for a moment. What was this thing?

Then, a thought flashed through his mind: "Why call the bodyguards?"

"I'll take you back to your classroom."

"I can walk back by myself, it's just a few steps..."

"It's not about walking you back," Huo Nianci looked up at him, "it's about having them sit in front of, behind, to the left and right of you, so that no one can get close to you."

Lin An was stunned for a long time before he reacted: "You...you want four bodyguards to sit next to me during class?"

"Yes," Huo Nianci nodded, "The row you're sitting in, including the two seats on either side and the two seats in front and behind you, is completely full."

"That way, whether it's Liu Na, Xiao Jingshu, or anyone else, they won't be able to sit near you."

"Isn't this a bad idea? It takes up so many seats, how are other people supposed to have class?"

Huo Nianci tilted her head and looked at him: "My family is a shareholder in the school."

"What?"

"One of the teaching buildings at this university was donated by my father," Huo Nianci said. "What's wrong with it taking up a few seats?"

Lin An opened his mouth, but found himself unable to speak again.

What else can be said when faced with a young lady who has the power to make money?

Just as he was about to say something more, a series of orderly footsteps suddenly came from the stairwell doorway.

Four men in black suits appeared at the door; they were burly and as wide as door panels.

They stood at the doorway and bowed their heads in unison to Huo Nianci: "Miss."

Huo Nianci nodded to them: "Send Mr. Lin back to the classroom. Have one person sit in front of him, one in the back, one in the left, and one in the right. Don't let anyone sit next to him."

"Yes, Miss."

The four bodyguards stepped aside to make way for Lin An, all looking at him in unison: "Mr. Lin, please."

Lin An stood in the stairwell, looking at the four burly men in black suits and Huo Nianci, who was tilting her head and waiting for him to leave. He took a deep breath and then stepped out of the stairwell.

He walked in front, with four bodyguards following behind him like a moving human wall.
