I met a yandere rich girl online using fake photos, and she kidnapped me.

Chapter 31 Lin An was caught in an empty stairwell

At this moment, in lecture hall 5-1.

Lin An was sandwiched between two women, one on each side, his arms being pulled so hard they were swaying from side to side.

Liu Na gripped the sleeve of his left arm, while Xiao Jingshu held his wrist on his right arm, and the two of them pulled him in their respective directions like in a tug-of-war.

"Lin An, explain yourself! What exactly is going on between you and Huo Nianci?" Xiao Jingshu said, "Didn't we have dinner together just a few days ago?"

Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend back then?

Liu Na retorted without backing down, "Who do you think you are? Does Lin An need to report to you who he's with? You're nobody to him!"

"If I'm nothing to him, then who are you to him?"

"The whole department knows about you getting refused when you brought someone breakfast this morning!"

"you!"

By this time, many students in the classroom had turned around to watch the excitement.

Feeling increasingly certain of his fate, Lin An finally snapped and shouted, "Alright, alright!"

He forcefully pulled his arms away from their grasp: "Can't you two ordinary women get lost? Don't you know how much trouble you're causing others?!"

Lin An, who is usually good-tempered, suddenly got angry, which surprised Liu Na and Xiao Jingshu.

Liu Na's lips trembled: "Lin An...you insulted me?"

"You've never said anything like that to me before!" Liu Na's eyes were already brimming with tears. "I just like you, is that wrong?"

Xiao Jingshu also released Lin An's wrist: "Lin An, you used to be so polite to me. I've known you since the first year of high school, for six years."

"I was planning to confess my feelings to you later, but I never expected you to treat me like this?"

Lin An felt his head buzzing.

Does Xiao Jingshu also like him?

But now he's too lazy to argue with the two of them.

Just as they were about to chase the two away, a figure suddenly appeared at the front door of the classroom.

Lin An looked up and saw the figure with "slender branches bearing abundant fruit".

It was Huo Nianci standing at the front door.

Her normally fair face was now almost transparently white.

His lips were pressed into a thin line, the corners of his mouth were turned down, and his eyes were slightly narrowed, as if a volcano was about to erupt.

She was also holding a carbon pen in her right hand.

She held a plain black carbon pen in her palm, nib pointing downwards, like holding a dagger.

Holy crap, it's a mess!

Are we reopening?

Lin An felt a cold sweat break out on his back.

Liu Na and Xiao Jingshu turned their heads at the same time, following Lin An's gaze, and then both of them froze.

But Huo Nianci, who had created such a deterrent effect, remained silent.

She just stood there, quietly watching the classroom.

His gaze swept from Lin An to Liu Na, then from Liu Na to Xiao Jingshu, and finally landed back on Lin An's face.

Liu Na quickly released her hand, which had been loosely resting on Lin An's arm, and moved to the side.

Xiao Jingshu moved even faster; almost reflexively, she pulled her hand back from Lin An's wrist and moved to the side.

Both girls lowered their heads and remained silent.

At this moment, Huo Nianci rushed into the classroom and walked up to Lin An.

She reached out and grabbed Lin An's wrist.

"Get up," she said.

Lin An obediently stood up.

Huo Nianci grabbed his wrist and turned to walk out.

Lin An stumbled a couple of steps as she pulled him along, then glanced back at the classroom.

All the students' eyes followed him and Huo Nianci as they walked away.

Then Huo Nianci dragged him out of the classroom and all the way to the stairwell at the end of the corridor.

It was a fire escape stairwell that few people used; once the door was closed, all outside noise was blocked out.

Huo Nianci released his wrist.

She turned to face him, with a half-step between them.

Her eyes were still narrowed, her gaze sharp as a knife.

"Explain," she said.

"If you can't explain it clearly, I'll have to take some necessary measures."

After Huo Nianci finished speaking, her gaze moved down Lin An's chin and she made a cutting motion with her hand.

Lin An instantly understood what she meant by "necessary means," and then he abruptly covered his lower body with both hands.

"No, no, no," Lin An said earnestly, cold sweat beading on his forehead, "Xiao Jingshu and I are really just ordinary friends!"

"We were high school classmates, and we were in the same group before, so we added each other on WeChat."

"We occasionally bump into each other and exchange a few words. A few days ago, we had a meal together because we finished discussing a group project around lunchtime; it lasted less than twenty minutes!"

"There's nothing else besides these!"

Huo Nianci crossed her arms and tilted her head to look at him.

Her expression remained unchanged, her arms were crossed in front of her, and her chin was slightly raised.

It's obvious they don't really believe what he says.

Seeing her expression, Lin An felt even more flustered.

"Everything I said is true," he said, taking out his phone and quickly swiping the screen to find WeChat and open his chat with Xiao Jingshu.

"Look, look at the chat history! We hardly ever chat. We only exchange a few messages about homework!"

He handed the phone screen to Huo Nianci.

Huo Nianci glanced down at the screen, but didn't reach out to take it. She just kept her eyes downcast and scanned the chat history line by line.

There weren't many messages in Xiao Jingshu's chat box.

The most recent message was from the end of last month: "Did you do the third question on your homework wrong? The method the teacher explained in class doesn't seem to be like this."

Lin An's reply was a voice message that was about ten seconds long. When I listened to it, it seemed to be explaining the solution to the problem.

Scrolling back further reveals even earlier course schedules and group assignments.

Their tone was very polite, and they used standard, unfamiliar phrases like "thank you," "okay," and "understood."

Huo Nianci's gaze lingered on the screen for a while, scrolling from the latest post to the earliest one, taking about two or three minutes.

Lin An's hand was aching from holding the phone, but he didn't dare to move it, so he just held it there.

Finally, Huo Nianci looked away from the screen and raised her eyes to look at Lin An.

Her expression relaxed a little.

She lowered her arms from her chest and let them hang at her sides, quietly watching him.

"That's all?" she asked.

"That's all," Lin An quickly said, "That's all, really that's all."

"If you don't believe me, I can delete her now, right in front of you."

He was about to operate on the screen when Huo Nianci raised her hand and pressed down on his wrist: "No need."

Lin An was stunned for a moment.

Huo Nianci did not look at him again.

She turned around, took two steps toward the door to the stairwell, and turned her back to him.
