Chapter 90: The Avengers stumble upon Thor's revenge drama!

In the mirrored space, the air seemed to freeze.

Gu Yi glanced at Tony, then at Natasha, and uttered calmly, "Stop with the nonsense in your heads. This big oaf has gotten himself into trouble. I'm just a doctor, simply applying medicine to his wounds."

Tony touched his nose and coughed twice to cover his embarrassment.

Black Widow Natasha, however, had no time for jokes.

She quickly concealed her surprise, her eyes instantly sharpening.

As a top agent, she came today with a death order from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Natasha pulled a top-secret document directly from a lining of her suit and threw it onto the semi-transparent, mirrored floor.

"Since you're in charge, you'd better explain this to me clearly."

Natasha pointed to the photo on the document, her tone increasingly insistent.

"A snow-capped mountain near Mount Everest was cleaved in half by a sudden attack. And just a few days ago, a golden beam of light descended from the sky in a bustling street in Kathmandu, carving a deep trench tens of meters long into the ground!"

Natasha's voice grew louder as she spoke, her gaze fixed intently on the Ancient One's eyes: "The Bureau's satellites have pinpointed the source; all the energy fluctuations are pointing to this dilapidated compound of yours. What kind of illegal armed organization are you?!"

To investigate this matter, Natasha spent a full month staking out this impoverished rural area where even coffee was unavailable.

She had been holding back her anger for a long time.

Faced with the agent's stern questioning, Gu remained calm and replied with only four words: "The Holy Land of Magic."

"magic?"

Natasha frowned deeply, as if she had heard the biggest joke in the world.

"Don't try to fool S.H.I.E.L.D. with fairy tales," Natasha said firmly. "Director Nick Fury doesn't believe in gods or monsters. And the Earth's higher-ups would never allow an uncontrolled, large-scale mutant containment facility to exist!"

This is a blatant threat.

S.H.I.E.L.D. has always been domineering; when faced with an unexplained supernatural force, their first reaction is to control or eliminate it.

But they've come to the wrong person today.

Gu Yi didn't even lift his eyelids, slowly standing up: "Karmar-Taj is peaceful and undisturbed. Our responsibility is to defend against threats from the multiverse and protect Earth. It's best if we all keep to ourselves."

At this point, Gu Yi suddenly pictured Lin Jie's face.

Originally, Earth's timeline was a straight line, peaceful and stable.

But ever since Lin Jie started learning magic, he has messed up the timeline, splitting it into several unpredictable branching paths.

Lin Jie learned for less than three weeks, Odin was furious, Dormammu got a beating, and now even Thor got his butt burned.

If those arrogant mortals at S.H.I.E.L.D. dared to provoke Lin Jie... Gu Yi would bet that Lin Jie could turn S.H.I.E.L.D.'s space carrier into a giant rubber duck by tomorrow.

"Let me give you a piece of advice." The Ancient One's gaze swept over the two of them, her tone carrying an undeniable authority, "Don't overstep your bounds. If you anger one of the more temperamental apprentices in the courtyard, the consequences will be unbearable for S.H.I.E.L.D.."

After saying that, Gu Yi waved his hand.

Whoosh!

The surrounding mirrored space instantly melted away like ice, and the world returned to its original state as the mage's dormitory.

As soon as I returned to reality, Thor's deafening roar immediately came from the side.

"Ancient One! Don't even think about running! Where's my hammer?! Hand it over!!!"

Thor jumped off the bed with his bare legs exposed, his eyes bloodshot.

Ancient One gave him a disdainful look, then turned and called out towards the door, "Wang, take him to get the hammer."

After saying that, the Ancient One waved her small fan and walked away without looking back, completely disregarding the two Avengers.

Watching the Ancient One walk away, Tony took off his sunglasses with some dissatisfaction, turned to Natasha and complained, "Agent, isn't your department's communication style a bit too hardcore? I was going to ask her about the scientific principles behind conjuring up the glass just now, but you scared her away."

Natasha crossed her arms, still looking disdainful: "Stark, you don't actually believe in some kind of magic, do you? Like the X-Men, they're just a group of mutants with special genes. Everything can be explained scientifically."

Tony pursed his lips.

science?

Can science explain the rings of fire he saw on the streets of New York a few days ago?

However, Tony was too lazy to argue with Natasha. He turned around and turned his gaze to Thor, who was searching the room for his pants.

"Forget it, whatever this bald sorcerer is," Tony shrugged. "At least we have a ready-made alien prince to gather information from."

At that moment, the king walked in from outside.

Thor grabbed the king by the collar, jumping up and down in a panic: "Quick! Take me to get Mjolnir! I'm fully armed today, I'm going to chop that bastard Lin Jie into mincemeat!"

Upon hearing this...

Tony and Natasha exchanged a glance.

Lin Jie?

The mighty Thor of Asgard is being bullied and threatened on Earth?

And judging from his tone, it seems that Saul suffered a great loss at this person's hands.

Tony's eyes lit up instantly, and his whole body radiated a strong gossip spirit.

"Interesting." Tony smirked, found a chair, and sat down. "Looks like we're in for a free revenge show today. Come on, let's follow him and see just who this Lin Jie is!"

Just as Thor was roaring madly, a middle-aged man dressed in a mage's robe walked into the temple.

The man had an Asian face, and his appearance was much kinder than the previous man.

Upon seeing the man, Thor immediately roared at the top of his lungs, "My king! Bring me my hammer!"

Wang remained calm, giving Thor a once-over, his tone tinged with doubt: "Are you sure you want to go and fight Lin Jie to the death?"

"Nonsense!" Thor's eyes widened, burning with rage. "Try setting your ass on fire if Lin Jie did it! See if you'd fight back!"

Black Widow: "..."

Stark: "..."

Case solved.

It was indeed burned by Lin Jie.

The king sighed and earnestly advised, "Thor, a wise man doesn't fight a losing battle. You are, after all, the future king of Asgard. Be mature and know when to back down."

Wang's words were absolutely heartfelt advice.

While others learn magic in "years," Lin Jie, this freak, calculates it entirely in "hours."

Thor had no idea that Lin Jie was no longer the same person he was just a few days ago!

Wang really wanted to shout at Thor: Wake up! Lin Jie is a ruthless person who even dared to betray your own father, Odin!

Unfortunately, Thor, who was in a fit of anger, wouldn't listen to a word.

"Stop talking nonsense! Give me the hammer now!"

Thor waved his hand impatiently, urging him on.

All he can think about now is revenge.

In Thor's opinion, the reason he couldn't beat Lin Jie last time was simply because he didn't bring his hammer!

Without Mjolnir, his strength was reduced by at least two-thirds.

Once he gets his hands on the hammer, he's determined to smash Lin Jie's head full of bumps!

"Fine, since you insist on being tortured, come with me."

The king shook his head helplessly and turned to walk out of the temple.

Upon hearing that the hammer had been secured, Thor quickly grabbed the blanket next to him and wrapped it around his waist.

Ignoring the burning pain in his buttocks, he limped after Wang, yelling, "Hey! Slow down! Can't you see my butt is injured?!"

Stark and Black Widow, who remained where they were, shook their heads in disbelief.

Is this still the same majestic Thor they used to know?

What inhuman torture did this guy suffer in Kamar-Taj? How did he end up worse off than a beggar?

The two of them had some doubts, but they quickly followed.

The four walked through the corridor and arrived at the artifact room in Kamar-Taj.

Wang reached out and pushed open the door.

In the very center of the artifact room, there lay an ancient warhammer—Thor's Mjolnir, the hammer of thunder!
