Bright Sword: Starting from Obtaining the Equipment Slot

Chapter 5 I Can Cooperate with the Devil! [Please Add to Favorites]

The remaining five agents have arrived.

They stopped about 100 meters from the old locust tree and split into two groups. One group of three approached from the east, while the other group of two came around from the west, trying to flank them.

Wei Dayong lay prone behind the light machine gun, his hand on the trigger.

This gun uses 7.92mm Mauser rifle cartridges and is equipped with a standard 20-round double-stack, double-feed straight magazine, with an effective range of 800 to 1,000 meters.

The three Japanese soldiers on the east side were spread out, each about ten meters apart. They advanced in alternating cover, their movements clean and efficient, living up to their reputation as elite troops.

Wei Dayong aimed his sights at the Japanese soldier in the foreground and pulled the trigger.

The light machine gun fired rapidly, bullets whistling through the barrel and tearing a curtain of fire through the woods. Three bloody flowers exploded from the chest of the Japanese soldier at the front, and he fell backward to the ground.

Godlike!

The remaining two Japanese soldiers immediately lay down and took cover behind a tree to return fire. Bullets struck the earthen slope, kicking up clouds of dust.

Wei Dayong didn't get entangled with them. He rolled down the slope with the machine gun in his arms and crouched down to move to another firing position.

Next to this big tree is a large blue stone with a crack on its side, just big enough to fit a gun barrel.

With the help of his cheat code, he made the most of his geographical advantage!

Wei Dayong extended the machine gun barrel out of the crack and aimed it at the tree trunk where one of the Japanese soldiers was hiding.

7.92 bullets have much stronger penetrating power than pistol bullets; a tree trunk cannot stop them.

Wei Dayong fired a full burst at the tree trunk, the bullets piercing through it and turning the Japanese soldiers hiding behind it into a bloody mess.

The Japanese soldier screamed and fell out from behind the tree, landing motionless on the ground.

Legendary!

The last Japanese soldier coming from the east, seeing that a direct assault was futile, prepared to retreat and maneuver around the enemy lines.

Wei Dayong raised his gun and fired another burst, the bullets chasing after the Japanese soldier and knocking him down in the bushes.

Just then, he suddenly felt a tingling sensation in the back of his neck.

The two Japanese soldiers to the west were already sixty meters behind him.

Without any hesitation, Wei Dayong threw away the light machine gun in his hand, suddenly lunged to the left, and at the same time drew his pistol from his waist.

Almost at the same instant, a volley of bullets flew past the spot where he had just been lying, hitting the large blue stone and scattering sparks.

A Japanese soldier, carrying a submachine gun, rushed out of the bushes to the west. He opened fire as he approached Wei Dayong, bullets raining down on him like a storm.

Wei Dayong hid behind the large blue stone, keeping his body low to the ground.

The bullet hit the rock, and fragments of stone flew onto him.

The moment the Japanese gunfire ceased, he peeked out from behind the rock and fired three shots with his pistol.

The first shot missed, the bullet grazing the Japanese soldier's shoulder. The second shot struck the soldier's right arm, and the submachine gun fell from his hand to the ground.

The third shot hit the Japanese soldier in the thigh. He screamed and fell to his knees.

Wei Dayong rushed forward, kicked the submachine gun that had fallen to the ground, and then fired a shot into the Japanese soldier's head.

There's only one left.

He activated his "all-seeing eye" and the image of the forest reappeared in his mind.

The last Japanese soldier was less than forty meters away from him, hiding behind a big tree, motionless.

Wei Dayong picked up the submachine gun from the ground, checked the magazine, and found there were about ten bullets left. He tucked the pistol back into his waistband, and, holding the submachine gun, crept towards the large pine tree.

He walked slowly. The dry leaves under his feet crunched softly, but not enough to alert the enemy hiding behind the tree.

Thirty meters.

Twenty meters.

ten meters.

Wei Dayong circled around to the side of the pine tree, then suddenly rushed out, aiming his gun at the tree behind him.

However, there was no one behind the tree.

Just then, a muffled thud came from above.

Before Wei Dayong could think, his body instinctively leaned back and he fell to the ground.

A bayonet pierced straight down from above, its tip grazing his chest, tearing his clothes, and leaving a bloody gash on his skin.

Having dodged the attack, Wei Dayong looked up and saw the last special agent lying on a branch of a big tree, holding a gleaming bayonet, staring down at him.

This Japanese soldier was short in stature, but his movements were exceptionally agile.

Seeing that his bayonet missed its mark, he immediately jumped down from the tree branch and thrust the bayonet in his hand straight at Wei Dayong's throat.

Wei Dayong rolled to the side, avoiding the attack.

The knife missed its mark, and the Japanese soldier staggered.

Taking advantage of the situation, Wei Dayong flipped himself up and slammed the butt of his submachine gun hard into the back of the Japanese soldier's head.

The Japanese soldier grunted and staggered a few steps, but did not fall. He suddenly turned around and slashed horizontally with his sword.

The knife was swift and ruthless. Wei Dayong hurriedly retreated, the bayonet grazing his abdomen and nearly slashing him.

He looked down and realized that he might have been injured if he hadn't been wearing a tactical vest.

The Japanese soldiers gave him no chance to breathe, attacking him relentlessly with one blow after another.

His swordsmanship was very cunning; the bayonet in his hands was as agile as a venomous snake, and every thrust went straight for the vital points.

Wei Dayong retreated seven or eight steps in a row, without even having a chance to fire his submachine gun.

The Japanese bayonets came again, this time aimed straight for the heart.

Wei Dayong stopped retreating. Just as the blade tip approached his chest, he suddenly turned to the side, and the bayonet missed its mark, grazing his chest.

Wei Dayong's left arm clamped the Japanese soldier's right hand, and the butt of his submachine gun slammed down again, this time aiming at the Japanese soldier's wrist.

With a sharp crack, the Japanese soldier's wrist was smashed and deformed, and his bayonet fell to the ground.

The Japanese soldier let out a scream, but before he could pull his hand back, Wei Dayong's knee had already struck his chest.

The knee strike was extremely powerful, and the Japanese soldier's ribs made a cracking sound.

He flew backward, his body contorted, and crashed heavily into the trunk of the large tree. He spat out a mouthful of blood, and his body slid down the trunk, collapsing to the ground, where he lay motionless.

Wei Dayong took a breath, walked over and emptied the magazine.

Ace!

The gunshots echoed through the woods before slowly fading away.

This Japanese soldier was the most skilled enemy Wei Dayong encountered after transmigrating.

Wei Dayong stood there, his chest heaving violently.

If it weren't for his superpower, the advantage of the terrain, and the fact that the Japanese hadn't fully matured yet, he might not have been able to defeat them!

It has to be said, young people are just full of energy!

He wiped the sweat from his face with the back of his hand and turned to walk back towards the old locust tree.

Yamamoto Ichiki was still tied to the tree trunk.

Wei Dayong walked over and ripped the gag out of his mouth.

Yamamoto Ichiki was panting heavily, his face pale.

He witnessed firsthand how Wei Dayong sent his entire ten-man special agent team to hell in just half an hour.

"You...you are a devil." Yamamoto Ichiki's voice trembled.

"I'm not the devil." Wei Dayong squatted down in front of him, gently patting his cheek with the butt of his submachine gun. "But as long as it can defeat you, I can cooperate with the devil!"

Yamamoto Ichiki's Adam's apple bobbed as he subconsciously swallowed.

"Now, it's time to settle our scores."

Yamamoto Ichiki's pupils suddenly contracted.

"You...you can't kill me! If you kill me, none of the prisoners of war you left behind will survive!"
