Take her as my wife

Chapter 112 tells the story of 14-year-old Jiang Ni personally ending the nightmare.

The man was not angered by her words as Jiang Ni had expected; he simply took off his glasses and put them in his shirt pocket.

The scar on his face resembled an ugly maggot, appearing even more grotesque as his face trembled while he spoke.

"You don't need to hold such a grudge against me. Thanks to your father, I haven't had a good time these past few years either, Nini," he pointed to the scar on his face, then looked at Jiang Ni with kind eyes, "No matter what, we got along quite well back then, didn't we?"

His gentle and loving demeanor and tone remain the same as before. If it weren't for the scar on his face, he would still look like a "gentle and patient" psychologist.

Who would have thought that his dark side was that of a pedophile who had used his position to harm others for years?

However, Jiang Ni was not swayed by his words. She calmly looked around, as this was a blind spot.

Men are adept at observing people's facial expressions and body language to understand their psychology. He approached Jiang Ni step by step: "Are you scared, Nini?"

Jiang Ni stood still without backing down, even though her clenched fists were trembling slightly.

Although the man was thin, he was tall. There is an inherent difference in strength between ordinary men and women. When he pounced on Jiang Ni, Jiang Ni recalled the scene from that year.

After her mother attempted suicide and could not be saved, Jiang Qiaonan found that she was becoming increasingly taciturn, but she could not spare the time to accompany her. Later, through an introduction from someone else, she found a psychologist named Liang Yi to help her deal with her negative emotions.

Jiang Ni is well-developed; her height and bone structure do not conform to the characteristics of a "child".

But she was beautiful. Not only beautiful, but also fragile and sensitive at the time. Liang Yi was attracted to her the first time he saw her. He felt that she was like a newly grown flower bud, so lovable.

It took Liang Yi more than half a year to truly dispel the girl's wariness. Jiang Ni would come to him twice a week. At first, she was accompanied by a driver arranged by Jiang Qiaonan. Later, Jiang Ni gradually began to trust him, and she would come to the clinic alone for psychological counseling.

It rained heavily that day.

Jiang Ni's school uniform was damp, and her white shirt clung to her body. As Liang Yi listened to her calmly recount recent events, he suppressed his suddenly rising physical urges.

Halfway through her story, Liang Yi suddenly said with concern, "Nini, I noticed your clothes aren't dry yet. Let me get you a towel to wipe them."

"Thank you, Teacher Liang."

Jiang Ni was caught off guard and sat down to wait for him.

When a hand reached out from behind and covered her mouth and nose, Jiang Ni was afraid and panicked.

—But now she's grown up.

Jiang Ni was prepared, so she dodged Liang Yi's hand the first time. However, the rudimentary martial arts skills she learned from Tan Wen were really not up to par. When they actually started fighting, she quickly lost ground.

Liang Yi grabbed her hair with one hand and raised the other high, aiming to slap her cheek. Jiang Ni looked at him without fear, but the slap didn't land.

He lowered his hand, turning it into a caress: "Your father ruined my face and made me spend three years in jail... I've already paid the price for my life, but Nini, you haven't had it easy either, have you? You're so sensitive and fragile, does this matter haunt you in your dreams at night?"

He stopped touching her, smiled, and said, "Nini, you should be glad you're all grown up now..."

I've grown up, so I can no longer arouse the sexual impulses of a "pedophile".

But Jiang Ni knew that after his release from prison, this man had not reformed and had most likely harmed other young girls.

Jiang Ni was furious.

"Yes," Jiang Ni said, emphasizing each word, "I'm so glad I've grown up now."

Before the last "了" had even finished, Liang Yi felt a sharp pain on his face, his right eye was unable to open, and blood was gushing from his eye!

He cried out in pain, covered his eyes, and swayed from side to side in agony. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Jiang Ni pushed him away and stood up.

She was clutching a piece of glass tightly in her hand, which was stained with blood.

Those were the lenses that fell out of Liang Yi's glasses after they were dropped on the ground.

Her hands were trembling slightly.

She had this subtle reaction from the moment she met Liang Yiqi.

But that was the fear of fourteen-year-old Jiang Ni; twenty-seven-year-old Jiang Ni wouldn't be.

Finally, she personally ended this nightmare for the young Jiang Ni.

"elder sister!"

"Nini!"

Jiang Fengyu chased after him, calling out, "Baby, slow down! Be careful of your stomach!"

Liang Yi tried to run, but Tan Wen wouldn't give him the chance. His eyes were bloodshot, and he stumbled as he ran. Tan Wen kicked him to the ground and used several grappling moves to twist his arm and pin him to the ground, rendering him unable to move.

Tan Wen turned to Jiang Ni: "Sister, are you alright?"

He thought Liang Yi was a lecherous man who had taken advantage of Jiang Ni's beauty. Unable to suppress his anger, he punched Liang Yi in the nose, causing blood to spurt out.

Liang Yi could only target young children. He couldn't even withstand a single punch from Tan Wen, who let out a painful groan and then fainted.

Tan Wen pushed him aside and quickly walked to Jiang Ni's side, carefully examining her: "Sister, are you hurt?"

Jiang Ni dropped the lens in her hand and grabbed Tan Wen's arm for support. Tan Wen supported her, his heart completely unsettled—ever since he discovered Jiang Ni was missing, he had been utterly devastated.

Fortunately, after waiting for a while, Liu Jiaren realized that Jiang Ni had not returned. Worried that something had happened to her, she immediately called Jiang Fengyu to ask if he had seen Jiang Ni.

Tan had memorized the route when he arrived and guessed that Jiang Ni would go in this direction, which is how he found her.

Jiang Ni shook her head: "...You're not injured, don't worry."

Jiang Fengyu had already called the police, and the park's security personnel had also received the news and rushed over.

When the security guards dragged Liang Yi away, Liu Jiaren got a clear look at his face.

"It's him!" she exclaimed.

Tan Wen frowned, stared at Liang Yi's back for a moment, and then hugged Jiang Ni, who was still trembling slightly. The name Liu Jiaren made him realize that things were not as simple as he thought.

But now was not the right time to pry. Tan Wen picked Jiang Ni up and carried her back to the tent.

Liu Jiaren and Jiang Fengyu quickly followed in his footsteps.

Tan Wen stayed with Jiang Ni in the tent for a while, and Jiang Ni's emotions completely stabilized.

However, Tan Wen didn't dare to ask her what the situation was between her and that man. He had a feeling that he couldn't ask Jiang Ni for an answer directly.

"Are you hungry?" He patted Jiang Ni's back gently. "I'll go get you some food. I'll be right back."

"Mmm," Jiang Ni rubbed against his shoulder and comforted him in return, "I'm fine, really, don't worry."

How could Tan Wen not be worried? He knew that Jiang Ni had a very strong heart. Not to mention dealing with a pervert, she had never been afraid when she was kidnapped by Du Yucheng.

But he said nothing, kissed her slightly cool lips, and then stood up and walked out of the tent.

"Brother Jiang, could you please stay here for a bit? Thank you."

Jiang Fengyu nodded: "Yes, don't worry, I'll stay by your side."

Tan Wen gave Liu Jiaren a look, and Liu Jiaren understood: "You can't carry all this stuff by yourself, I'll go with you."

After the two left the tent area, Liu Jiaren spoke first: "Did you want to ask me about Nini?"

"Yes," Tan asked directly, "who was that man today? You all know him."

Liu Jiaren remained silent for a long time, her expression unusually serious.

"He was the psychologist Nini knew when she was a child."

Tan waited for her to continue.

But the next sentence made Tan Wen's heart plummet to the bottom, leaving it bleeding profusely.

"He...molested Nini."
