It was almost dawn when I got back to the Tokyo campus.

Kokichi followed Mashiro through the school gate, and after a few steps, he stopped by the gatepost.

Mashiro glanced back at him and said, "If your legs aren't used to it yet, you can walk slowly."

"Thank you, but it's alright." After all, Yukichi is a sorcerer and usually uses puppets to walk. Although he's not used to it, he's not unable to walk.

Mashiro nodded. Since he had said so, let's continue walking towards the treatment room.

She wanted Shoko to check Kokichi for any aftereffects, since in the original story, if someone died in a fight, it wouldn't be noticeable.

The lights in the treatment room were on, and there was more than just Shoko inside now.

"Fukuguro, drink some water now that you're awake." Itajō chuckled mischievously and shoved the cup into Fukuguro's mouth.

"Don't shove the cup in my face!" Fushiguro Megumi exclaimed in alarm, but he was unable to escape due to his bandages.

He could only gulp down a large mouthful, half of which leaked out and spilled all over himself.

Damn it, Hisahito Itadori, he will pay a hundredfold!

Fushiguro Megumi closed her eyes in pain, but then she was suddenly stabbed in the waist again.

He flinched and opened his eyes wide.

It's Kugizaki.

She sat to the left of Fu Hei's hospital bed, and when she saw him close his eyes, she suddenly poked him.

"Fu Hei, not bad. You can even beat Special Grade fighters now. Does that mean you'll be able to beat us too?"

"What kind of logic is that... *gurgle gurgle*!"

"Oh dear, Fuhei, you're so badly injured, how can you be angry? Drink more water!" Huzhang brought the water glass to his lips again.

Seeing the two least injured people casually handling the seriously injured one, Shunping couldn't bear it and looked away.

He whispered, "That cup is mine..."

Mashiro heard the commotion inside before she even entered the room. She smiled slightly and pushed open the door.

"What's all the commotion about?"

They all turned their gazes and saw Mashiro standing at the door.

"Mashiro (older sister)."

Kugizaki and Itadori let go of Fushiguro Megumi, who was lying on the bed, and went to the door.

"Don't block the way, let's go inside." Mashiro patted the two people in front of her and went inside.

After a moment of silence with Kokichi, he followed her inside.

Everyone looked at the stranger behind Mashiro.

Tall man, with a face I'd never seen before.

Itadori spoke first: "Mashiro-nee, what's this?"

"Yoshikichi, also known as Mechamaru from the Kyoto school." Mashiro walked over to Shoko. "Shoko, give him a checkup."

Shoko looked up at Mashiro, sighed, and said, "You're never polite whenever we meet, and now you don't even call me 'senpai' anymore."

Ignoring Mashiro, who was still standing there laughing, she looked up and glanced at Kokichi.

Of course she knew who Yukichi was, but she wouldn't ask questions she shouldn't.

Shoko walked to his side, reached out and flipped his eyelids to look at his pupils, placed her fingers on his pulse and counted for more than ten seconds, then went around to his back and touched his spine through his clothes.

The work was swift, with no pauses between each check.

"No problem." Shoko removed her hand from his back and walked back to her desk to continue drinking her coffee.

When Itadori walked up to Kokichi, he was a little taller than Kokichi.

"So this is what you look like." Itadori walked halfway around him. "Did you come out of the robot?"

"...No, those are puppets, purely mechanical," Yukichi said after a moment of silence.

He didn't know how to face these classmates who had been hurt because he revealed the information.

"Oh, I see." Itadori nodded. "Do you have a robot that I can sit in? Like a Gundam."

"Yes." Yukichi nodded, his words shocking Itadori.

"It really exists!" Itadori patted his shoulder excitedly. "Could I try it next time?"

Even Shunping leaned closer, saying excitedly, "I... I want to try it too."

"Uh, only I can start it." Seeing the two looking disappointed, Yukichi paused for a moment and then said, "If it's just sitting inside, it's fine."

"Oh! It's settled then!" Itajo put his arm around Junpei's shoulder, looking very excited.

Kugizaki ignored the excited boys and moved closer to Mashiro.

She asked Mashiro in a low voice, "What's wrong with him? Is he transferring schools?"

"No, I'll take him away in a bit; it's a special mission." Mashiro didn't elaborate.

Kugizaki nodded. It was good that nothing was wrong. There had been too many things going on lately, and she would get nervous at the slightest disturbance.

Fushiguro Megumi breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing their voices; at least they wouldn't bother her anymore.

"I heard you've already reached the Special Grade; that's progress." Mashiro said, looking at him. "I'll nominate you guys for upgrading your Spellcaster rank later."

"Understood, thank you Mashiro-nee." Fushiguro Megumi said, "I was able to win because of Maki-senpai's special-grade cursed artifact and Junpei's help in restraining me. I couldn't have won alone."

"That's part of strength too. Just get stronger next time," Mashiro said with a smile. "Be more confident in yourself."

Fushiguro nodded silently, without saying anything more.

He looked towards Huzhang's side; their conversation had already jumped to who-knows-where.

Itadori patted Kokichi's arm: "With your height, you must be really good at basketball."

"...Never fought him." Kokichi paused for a moment.

"Let's play together next time. Shunpei isn't very good at it either, so I'll bring you two newbies to form a team." Itajō grinned.

Shoko stood up and looked at Itadori and the others, "You guys stop arguing. I need to rest now. Those who are supposed to stay here, stay here. Those who aren't injured, go back to sleep!"

"Okay, okay." Itari was the first to walk towards the door, patting Kokichi on the back as he passed by. "Let's go, let's play ball another day."

As Shunpei reached the door, he turned back to look at Yukichi: "Yukichi-senpai, there are empty rooms in the dormitory area if you want to rest."

"...Okay," Yukichi said.

The footsteps in the corridor dispersed in different directions and gradually disappeared.

"Let's go." Mashiro stood up and said to Kokichi.

Since the checkup revealed nothing wrong, let's take him to Gojo Satoru's place and begin the next step of the plan.

He nodded to Kokichi and followed her out, closing the door to the treatment room behind him.

He walked in silence, then suddenly spoke up: "You didn't tell them about me."

"no need."

"They'll find out eventually."

"That's for later." Mashiro didn't turn around. "What you need to do now is figure out how to save your life in front of the higher-ups."
