Itadori and Kugizaki ran through the woods toward the direction of the scent of the fingers.

Kugizaki ran ahead, expending less energy than Itadori, who followed behind her.

With a light tap of the feet on the stones, the movement speed was extremely fast.

Soon, they arrived at their destination, and Kugizaki saw Junpei first.

He sat next to a broken tree, his back against the trunk, his head slightly lowered.

Fushiguro Keihei lay beside him, with Junpei's coat under the back of his head, his eyes closed, and his breathing shallow.

"Shunping!" Huzhang ran over and squatted down in front of him.

He first looked at Shunping's face; although there was some blood, he seemed fine.

Then he looked down at Fushiguro Megumi. Fushiguro Megumi's face was very pale, and he had many wounds on his body. His clothes sleeves were stuck to the wounds.

"Are you badly injured?" Kugizaki leaned closer and asked.

"Fukuguro broke a rib, but I'm fine, just exhausted my curse power." Junpei looked up at them, having recovered somewhat after resting for so long.

"Did you get the finger?" Itari asked softly.

Shunping took his finger out of his pocket and tossed it upwards. Huzhang caught it and held it in his hand.

Just as the tiger stick was about to put it away, its palm opened like a mouth, as if to eat it.

With quick reflexes, Huzhang grabbed the finger with his other hand, preventing him from swallowing it.

"Hehe, dream on." Huzhang laughed. He was the same way at Shunping's house last time. He hadn't done anything and just wanted to eat fingers.

They didn't take him seriously at all.

Tiger Rod heard a cold snort from Su Nuo inside his body, and then, taking advantage of his distraction, he opened his left hand as well and ate it.

"This guy..." Itajimaru twitched the corner of his mouth, somewhat helplessly.

He really couldn't do anything to Sukuna, so he just let it go!

"Did you guys play whack-a-mole and knock out Sukuna's finger?" Kugizaki asked.

"Yes, the groundhog has even become a special-grade one." Shunping nodded, pointing to the spot in the distance where the cursed spirit had dissipated.

"You two took down a Special Grade One? That's amazing?"

"It was Fushiguro who did it. I was just helping out." Junpei stood up. "Let's go, we need to get Fushiguro treated."

Itadori nodded, then put a hand under Fushiguro Megumi's shoulder, lifted him up from the ground, and carried him on his back.

Fushiguro Megumi weighed a little more than Itadori had estimated. He frowned slightly while unconscious, made an inaudible sound, and then fell silent again.

"Are you sure you can manage on your own?" Kugizaki asked worriedly, looking at Itadori's slightly unsteady gait.

"Okay, he's not that heavy."

The three people walked onto the bridge. The path up the bridge was longer than the path down.

The gravel rolled around under their feet. Although it wasn't steep, the battle had taken a toll on their strength, and they were still struggling.

It suddenly felt cool when I stepped onto the bridge.

The moon peeked out from behind the clouds, its bright light gently illuminating the bridge and casting a silvery glow.

Itachi walked to the middle of the bridge and carefully placed Fushiguro Megumi against the bridge railing.

He leaned against the concrete railing, his head tilted to one side, as if he hadn't slept well, and he was muttering something under his breath.

"This guy is really enjoying himself." Kugizaki wiped the sweat from his face and grinned mischievously.

She took out her phone and took a picture of him like that, deciding to send it to other people later.

After taking the photos, Kugizaki took out his phone and dialed the female driver's number.

"Hey, we're at the Eighty-Eight Bridge... Yeah, that's right, the matter's resolved, someone was injured... Okay, we'll wait for you here."

She spoke with the person on the other end of the phone for a moment and then hung up, telling them that they would come to pick her up right away.

The four people waited slowly on the bridge. Soon, the headlights of a car shone from the corner of the road in the distance.

A black minivan drove up the bridge and stopped in front of the four people.

The female driver got out of the driver's seat, pushed up her glasses, and walked quickly to them.

She first looked at the unconscious Fushiguro Megumi, and then at the different injuries on the other people.

"It's good that you're all alive." She breathed a sigh of relief. If anything had happened, she really wouldn't know how to explain it. "Get in the car, we'll take you back for treatment."

Itachi lifted Fushiguro Megumi up again, and Junpei helped support Fushiguro Megumi's legs. Together, they gently placed Fushiguro Megumi on the last row of seats.

Then they sat down in the second row, the driver started the engine, and the car turned around on the bridge and headed towards the college.

The car was quiet for a while, and the streetlights outside shone into the car intermittently, illuminating their faces.

"What happened to you?" the driver asked in a low voice, his eyes fixed on the road ahead.

"A top-tier cursed spirit." Kugizaki revealed the shocking truth, but deliberately concealed the ominous aspect, "successfully exorcised it."

"It was a top-tier ancestor, and you managed to exorcise it?" The female driver was indeed shocked. "How is Fu Hei-kun's injury? Is he about to die?"

"No!" Junpei said, looking down at Fushiguro Megumi. "The broken ribs and the excessive exertion didn't kill it."

The driver breathed a sigh of relief, tapped his phone with one hand, and said, "Miss Ieiri is already waiting in the infirmary. You can receive treatment as soon as you arrive."

The car returned to silence, with only the occasional sound of breathing from the passengers.

Itachi was thinking about what the evil spirit had said. He said they would see each other again soon. What did that mean?

Should he tell Gojo-sensei and Mashiro-nee about this?

He hesitated for a moment, but decided to report to Mashiro first.

Yuujin: Mashiro-nee, I've met that pervert you were talking about.

Yujin: They said we'd see each other again soon, so I could let their older brother see me.

Yuujin: Mashiro-nee, do you know something? Can I tell Gojo-sensei?

Huzhang waited a while before the other side started replying.

"Mashiro": Yes, but I don't have time to explain to you right now.

"Mashiro": You did the right thing, don't worry.

"Mashiro": You can tell Gojo Satoru that it's okay.

After three messages in a row, the other end fell silent again, and there was no further news.

Itachi tapped the screen lightly. It seemed that Mashiro-nee really had something to do, so he decided not to disturb her now.

He put his phone away and smiled slightly at Kugizaki and Junpei, who were already asleep beside him.

It's so good that they're all alive. He needs to keep getting stronger, at least strong enough to help Mashiro and Gojo-sensei.

It was still dark when the car drove into the college gate. The lights in the infirmary were on, and a slender figure was reflected on the curtains.

The driver parked the car in front of the infirmary, and Itajo and Shunpei together lifted Fushiguro Megumi out of the back seat.

Fushiguro Megumi woke up briefly during the movement, her eyelashes fluttered, and she opened her eyes a crack.

"Fingers..." His voice was so soft it was almost inaudible.

"It's safe, don't worry," said Tiger Stick.

Fushiguro Megumi nodded slightly and then closed her eyes again.

Shoko Ieiri pushed open the door. She stood under the light at the entrance of the infirmary, wearing a white coat, with an unlit cigarette in her hand.

She glanced at Fushiguro Megumi and then at Shunpei, tucking the unlit cigarette behind her ear.

"Bring him in." She turned and walked into the infirmary.
