Curse Return: Demon Void Girl Doesn't Want to Be a Weakling

Nishimiya Momo gripped the broom handles with both hands, ready to fly higher again.

A dark shadow crashed down from a higher point in the sky.

It's Nue.

With its orange wings fully spread, Nishimiya Momo looked up but it was too late to dodge. Nue's claws gripped her shoulders, knocking her and the broom off their flight path.

"Varied--!"

She tumbled twice in the air, the broom slipped from her hand, but didn't fall to the ground. She used a spell to stabilize it and it flew back to her feet.

She had already fallen below the treetops. Nishimiya Momo lowered the broom head and quickly pulled it up, her feet brushing past the treetops, a few leaves being shredded by the airflow.

Who released the shikigami? Fushiguro Megumi?

She glanced up and saw Fushiguro Megumi crouching on a branch of a tree at the edge of the forest, one hand forming a mudra, while the Nue had risen again and was circling above his head.

He glanced at her, made no attempt to pursue, jumped down from the tree branch, and disappeared into the forest.

"Damn it." Nishimiya Momo regained altitude, brushed the feathers off her shoulders, "What kind of skill is a sneak attack..."

Before she could finish speaking, three nails flew over her head.

Nishimiya Momo dodged to the side, one of the nails grazing her ear before embedding itself in a nearby tree trunk, the ring at the end of the nail still buzzing and vibrating.

Kugizaki Nobara stood under the tree, holding a hammer in her left hand and two nails between her fingers in her right.

After reaching a safe altitude, Nishimiya Momo dusted off her cuffs and looked down at Kugizaki.

The girls at the Tokyo school had their school uniform sleeves rolled up to their elbows, and their hair tied back with a hairband.

He didn't stand out much when he was standing with Itadori, but now that he's standing alone, he exudes a lot of presence.

But not cute, um, very not cute.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the broom circled behind her and slammed horizontally into the back of her knees.

Kugizaki knelt on one knee, supporting himself on the ground with one hand, and with the other hand, he swung a nail back to force the broom back.

The broom jumped back into Nishimiya Momo's hand.

Kugizaki knelt on one knee, panting.

During the previous round, she had been observing that when Nishimiya Momo controlled the broom, there was a flow of magical energy in her fingers.

Her spell power output increases when the broom attacks independently, but the broom only has two attack modes: ramming and striking.
