Mashiro thought about what he said.

"It might be different. The ones targeting you will be stronger, while those targeting me... they might not have time to prepare, but if they just want to stall me, it shouldn't be a problem."

Mashiro tapped her knee with her finger. "And now they should know I can learn other techniques, so they'll simplify the setup that's hindering me."

Gojo Satoru pulled down his sunglasses, revealing his fair complexion.

"How wide is your perception range right now?"

Mashiro thought for a moment, "It used to be around 300 meters, but after these wings appeared, it can reach around 450 meters."

She raised her hand and touched the wings on her head. "The fluctuations of cursed power, the traces of filth, and so on—the information I can sense now is much richer than before."

"Although we can't yet distinguish every single detail precisely, we can capture the general intensity and direction."

"So you started feeling something last night?"

"Yes, there are some vague directions of magical energy flow, all converging near the high school," Mashiro said after a moment of silence.

This wasn't entirely a lie; she did indeed sense some unusual flow of magical energy.

Of course, she also knew that something bad was bound to happen at the exchange meeting, and this reason was sufficient to convince Gojo Satoru.

Gojo Satoru pondered for about ten seconds.

"What good would it do them to steal the fingers? To gain more magical power?"

"The real person said they wanted to win over Sukuna," Mashiro said, shaking her head. "The finger is either a gift for Sukuna or a tool to create more threats. Just throw one into a crowd, and it can trigger a rampage of cursed spirits."

Gojo Satoru nodded; this analysis was pretty much what he had in mind.

"Besides the barrier between us, and stealing your finger, what other purpose do you have?"

"Let's target the students," Mashiro said. "The exchange event brings together the best students in the jutsu world. If we can wipe them all out, it will be an irreparable loss to the jutsu world."

"Or at least inflict enough casualties to keep us busy; if even one student dies, the exchange will be a failure."

Gojo Satoru put his sunglasses back on, stood up, and put his hands in his pockets.

"It's too late today. I'll go find the Night Moth first thing tomorrow morning. Increase the guard on the sealed vault by one level, and test the stability of the barrier during periods of high traffic beforehand. Set up additional observation points around the meeting venue, and report any abnormalities directly to me and you."

He looked down at Mashiro. "Is there anything else you want to say?"

Mashiro also stood up and dusted off her pants.

"If my barrier is breached, I'll rush to the students immediately. But before that, I have an idea."

"explain."

"If they point their fingers into the space to distract the students, it means that Hanami or Masato might sneak in during the chaos."

"I fought Hanami last time, and my flames were effective against it. So if Hanami comes tomorrow, I can stop it by myself."

Mashiro paused for a moment, then said, "But the students need to evacuate quickly; a battle between Special Grade fighters is too dangerous for them."

Gojo Satoru looked at her. The silver-haired girl's wings covered her eyes, making it impossible to see her expression, but the tone of her saying that someone had stopped a Special Grade expert was similar to asking what to eat for dinner.

"You mean you went to fight the top-tier students and told them to retreat?"

"right."

"You were with me when you fought Hana Yu last time, so don't underestimate a Special Grade fighter."

"I'm not underestimating it. Hana-no-Kami isn't known for its offensive prowess," Mashiro said. "Besides, my spell power is much stronger now than it was back then. It can't kill me, and I can make it unable to do anything either."

Gojo Satoru stared at her for a moment, then smiled.

"Have you already mentally reviewed it?"

"Twice."

"Okay." Gojo Satoru stretched. "If there's an attack tomorrow, I'll handle the accounts and the threats outside, and you'll hold off the special-grade intruders."

"Have the second-year students lead the evacuation, and I'll have Moth personally guard the sealed vault for the Fingers. Ijichi will be in charge of all communications."

Mashiro nodded; this arrangement was all that could be done at this stage.

If more people find out, it's very likely that the news will reach the ears of the other side. Although she thinks Lu Suo can still steal things and escape, after all, Lu Suo is involved with everyone from the higher-ups to the students.

Mashiro thought for a while, but decided not to mention the messenger.

We'll save the mechanical pill after the real person heals it with non-action transformation, and then throw it into prison for a while.

It's frustrating to admit, but even now, Mashiro still can't analyze and use the transformation of non-action.

Inaction had no effect on her; adaptation wasn't triggered at all. Reversal was useful, but she didn't have time to adapt.

Mashiro sighed, her soul wheel spinning overload in an attempt to stabilize itself.

Before she knew it, the second-year training had ended, and Maki dragged her wooden sword toward the locker room.

The panda followed behind her, mimicking her sword-wielding motion, but Maki smacked him without turning around. Dog Roll silently followed at the back.

As Gojo Satoru watched this scene, his hands were in his pockets, and his tone suddenly became very soft.

"Mashiro."

"Um?"

"Every time you tell me some information, I'm thinking about one thing."

"What?"

"Do you really know everything, or are you just a better guesser than anyone else?" Gojo Satoru didn't look at her, his gaze still on the training field. "If it's a guess, then your intuition is a bit too accurate."

"If you knew... then you've probably been hiding more from me than I thought."

The wind blew from the woods, touching her wings, causing her silvery-white feathers to tremble slightly.

After a moment of silence, she said, "Would you believe me if I said my eyes can see the future?"

Gojo Satoru turned to look at her, his six eyes piercing through the sunglasses and wings, meeting her crimson pupils.

"I believe you," Gojo Satoru said, then pulled down his sunglasses. "No matter what you're hiding from me, you're not my enemy."

"But will there ever be a day when you'll be willing to tell me?"

Mashiro looked at Gojo Satoru with a serious expression.

"We'll see when the time comes," she said, closing her eyes briefly.

"That means you agree." Gojo Satoru raised the corners of his mouth. "I recorded it."

"You never took your phone out of your pocket."

"Oops, I've been found out." Gojo Satoru showed no sign of being exposed. He turned and walked towards the office building, waving his hand without looking back after a few steps.

"Get there early tomorrow. I'll talk to Night Moth. Don't worry about what those old geezers think. You and Hisahito are both under my protection."

Mashiro stood there, watching his white hair disappear around the corner of the corridor, a slight smile playing on her lips.

"What do you mean you're protecting me? You'll still need me to save you in the future."

She sat on the stone steps for a few more moments, then took out her phone.

The LINE profile picture of Yuzhang is still lit up.

"Mashiro": Are you ready for tomorrow's exchange battle?

Yuujin: No problem! Gojo-sensei came to see me today and said I'm in great shape (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

"Yujin": By the way, Mashiro-nee, are you coming to see my performance tomorrow?

"Mashiro": I was the supervisor, I was there the whole time.

"Yujin": That's great! I'll look super cool when I appear, sis, just wait and see! ٩(๑❛︶❛๑)۶

"Mashiro": Okay, okay, go to sleep early.

"Hiruhito": Received! (¦3[▓▓)

She put her phone in her pocket, stood up from the stone steps, and went home to sleep.
