"Bang......!"

The gunshot wasn't a soft "click," but a muffled sound, like something exploding.

The bullet burst from the chamber and pierced through Number Seven's skull... but no blood flowed. The bullet passed through his head as if through a wisp of air, a projection, a thin mist.

His body began to blur the moment the bullet pierced through it, like an old television set where the image started to show snow-like noise from the edges, eroding inward layer by layer. His face... that clean, composed face, always bearing a faint smile... became fragmented in the noise, like a mirror shattered by a hammer.

"Impossible...impossible..."

His mouth was still moving, but no sound came out. Su Mu could tell from his lip movements that he was repeating those two words. Then Number Seven disappeared.

It didn't fall, it didn't vanish; it disappeared like a gust of wind, silently vanishing from that chair, from that space, from this world. The chair is still there, the table is still there, the gun on the table is still there, the pool of blood is still there, but Number Seven is gone.

There was a moment of silence in the space. Then a cold, mechanical voice echoed throughout the entire space.

[Secret Realm Clearance Confirmed.]

Participant "Su Mu" has completed all challenges in the "Roulette Realm".

The secret realm will close in 60 seconds.

[Rewards for clearing the level are being drawn... Please select.]

A huge turntable appeared out of thin air in front of Su Mu, suspended in mid-air, taller than him.

The wheel was divided into six sectors, each labeled with different text... not specific item names, but levels. There were four levels: Common, Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow, and one sector with three question marks. There were no probability descriptions, no weighting indicators, and all six sectors were exactly the same size.

Everyone thought these areas should shrink in that way, but there's this guy who gambled on seven blank shots, so the probability is actually quite reasonable.

Everyone's attention was drawn to the spinning wheel.

Zhang Peng's eyes narrowed, He Lin's brows furrowed even more, Zhao Qiang's Adam's apple bobbed, and Zhao Gang's fingers gently traced the edge of the shield. They didn't recognize all the characters on the rotating disc, but they recognized "blue," "purple," and "yellow." Blue was the highest grade they had ever seen, purple was legendary, and yellow was something they had never even heard of.

As for those three question marks... no one knows what they are, but everyone knows they are something more advanced than yellow.

Su Mu did not hesitate.

He reached out and turned the dial.

The wheel began to spin, blurring the sectors into a halo of light, the colors mingling together, making it impossible to distinguish one sector from another. After a few seconds, the wheel slowed down. The pointer glided across the normal area, across the green area, across the blue area, across the purple area, across the yellow area... and then stopped on the three question marks.

Zhao Qiang loosened his grip, and the battle axe crashed to the ground with a loud bang, but no one went to look.

He Lin's arms, which she had been holding to her chest, fell limply, her nails digging into the flesh of her palms, though she remained oblivious. Zhang Peng's fingers hovered on the iron cage doorframe, motionless, like a statue. Zhao Gang's shield slipped from his arms, but he didn't catch it.

Lin Yuwei stood behind Su Mu, looking at the pointer on the spinning wheel, her mouth slightly open, then closed, then opened again.

She glanced down at her stats... her talent was still grayed out, her class was still dark, and all her abilities were still disabled. Then she looked up at the slowly disappearing roulette wheel, only one thought in her mind. How can someone be this lucky? It's toxic.

The spinning wheel disappeared. Su Mu now held something in his palm.

It was about the size of a fist, irregularly shaped, and looked like a piece of glass that had been melted and then solidified.

Its surface is grayish-white and translucent, and you can vaguely see something flowing inside... not liquid, but more like light. And in its very center, there is a thin, dark red crack, the edges of which glow faintly, like a tightly closed door.

[A portal to another dimension (???)]

[Type: Curiosities/Architecture]

[Effect: Spawns one level 1 creature per second, depending on its location. The spawned creature is unintelligent and uncontrollable.]

[Evaluation criteria: Not met.]

[Note: This item is beyond what is currently obtainable. It is recommended to use it on the cable car.]

Su Mu's pupils contracted slightly. Not because it was particularly powerful... generating a level one creature per second sounded almost useless.

It's not because of its grade. Three question marks. Number Seven said, "It's at least a rare item. White is the starting point, purple is not uncommon, and it's even possible to get something that your level hasn't seen before." This is that "something you haven't seen before."

He put the portal into the innermost compartment of his backpack and zipped it up.

If Su Mu could think of this, so could everyone else.

He could feel the gazes falling on him had changed... no longer the previous "this person is so lucky" sentiment, but a more direct, primal, greedy gaze, like a wild beast eyeing its prey.

Zhang Peng stood in the center of the crowd, his eyes fixed on Su Mu's backpack, the zipper reflected in his pupils. He didn't speak, but his chin twitched slightly, giving a wink to one of his men beside him.

The subordinate nodded slightly, the movement so subtle it was almost imperceptible. He Lin noticed Zhang Peng's expression; her brows furrowed even more, but she remained silent.

Zhao Gang picked up the shield that had slipped from his hand and hung it back on his arm. Zhao Qiang picked up the battle axe from the ground and weighed it in his hand.

Lin Yuwei noticed it too. She pinched the edge of her cloak with her fingers, then quickly typed a message on her communicator and sent it to Su Mu.

"Be careful. They're planning something."

Su Mu glanced at the communicator but did not reply.

He tightened his backpack straps, looked up, and glanced at Zhang Peng's group. Twenty people, well-equipped, with an average level of at least three, and several who had undergone class changes. On his side, there were only two. But Number Seven had said that only those who had arrived in this world within the past week could enter this secret realm.

Su Mu didn't believe anyone could grow to a level that could threaten him within seven days. It wasn't arrogance, it was confidence. He was currently level eight, possessing a full set of rule-based talents, and wielded an AWM, a long gun, and an entire warehouse of weapons he had moved from a military base.

If these people really make a move, he wouldn't mind showing them what it means to crush someone.
